I want to thank Sonya for giving me a very generous trade-in amount for my 2008 Honda Civic. I applied all of it toward a new Civic Sport. I also want to thank Larry Lancaster, my sales person for ex trade-in amount for my 2008 Honda Civic. I applied all of it toward a new Civic Sport. I also want to thank Larry Lancaster, my sales person for explaining all of the new features on this car. He explained everything slowly and clearly to me, even going over the new parts again if I needed it. He was very kind, respectful, and patient. I have purchased many Hondas over the years at Performance in Fairfield, and always get exceptional service. That is why I always come back. More
Drew McDonald was great to work with, thorough, and took the time needed for us to ultimately chose the right car for our family! Thank you Drew! Highly recommend him! the time needed for us to ultimately chose the right car for our family! Thank you Drew! Highly recommend him! More
They were very customer friendly and it was nice that they actually had some new vehicles in the lot. We were treated very warmly as soon as we first walked in the door as the receptionist was fantastic! they actually had some new vehicles in the lot. This was a terrible experience. I worked with Josh Baker. I went in to buy a Toyota, I ended up purchasing it. As I am disabled, the vehicle had to be fitted with hand controls so t I worked with Josh Baker. I went in to buy a Toyota, I ended up purchasing it. As I am disabled, the vehicle had to be fitted with hand controls so they delivered the vehicle to MobilityWorks. I go to pick up the vehicle after it's fitted, there's a crack in the windshield, the mirror in head visor was shattered and the tire pressure light was on. I reach out to Josh about the window and he says "oh yeah we're ordering a new window because we're not allowed to sell a car with a damaged windshield"....BUT YOU DID. Then I inquire about the tire pressure light. He says that in Toyotas there's a button the bottom of the steering column that resets it but my button was gone so the light would always be illuminated! Question, why didn't he tell me about this? Why would he deliver the vehicle with the light on. Then when I reach out to the manager and try to basically undo my deal and get a new car, the manager tells me no and insists that in order to do that, I'll have to treat the car as a trade in. Then they value it at $4000 less than what they just sold it to me for 2 weeks prior! What a headache. I won't say not to go to this dealership but be cautious. More
Josh Hardwick was so helpful from the very beginning when I called about a car I saw on their website. I own a small business so sometimes it’s hard to make time last minute. He went above and beyond to help I called about a car I saw on their website. I own a small business so sometimes it’s hard to make time last minute. He went above and beyond to help me every step of the way. He was organized, respectful, patient and helped me get the car I was looking at online. I loved that he listened to what I wanted and made it happen! After I arrived, I mentioned that my lease was about to end on my current vehicle and he made the transition so easy with the dealership buying out the rest of my lease. I was able to turn in my old car and leave with the new one that night. Everyone that I talked to at the dealership was so pleasant, from the receptionist to the finance manager. 10/10 would recommend Josh Hardwick if you need to buy or sell your car. I’m very happy to have someone who I feel like I can trust to work with in the future. More
Although we ended up buying here, I can't say much good about our experience. Josh H was rude and unprofessional, and it pains me to think that he got credit for our sale, even though we had to ask for a about our experience. Josh H was rude and unprofessional, and it pains me to think that he got credit for our sale, even though we had to ask for a new salesperson. From the start, he didn't seem very intersted in actually helping us. We asked about a car we saw online, and he handed us keys and told us to walk around the lot and go find it ourselves. The car ended up being dead, so he offered up another car that he described as "mint." When we told him how terribly it drove, he admitted that it hadn't even been through service yet. Next, while walking inside to get keys for another car, he told me that he was "too good" and "above" caring about the appearance of the cars in the showroom and how dirty they were. Then, after making us wait for over an hour while he "found" the final car we were interested in, we realized during our test drive that it was the wrong car. He had given us one to drive that looked similar, but had a much higher price tag. At that point I suggested that we look at a car at a different location, and he began to bad mouth that dealership, telling me that they were all liars and none of their internet prices were real. For one, I don't believe it's good business to talk bad about another business to get a sale, and two, nothing he said was accurate. We met very nice guys at the other dealership, who were more than happy to honor internet prices...they just didn't have the car we ended up choosing. We came back for the car we wanted, and Josh looked right at us and didn't even acknowledge us. He had no interest in helping us, which was fine. We ended up working with Larry, who was amazing, and helped us even though he would not get credit (found that out later). What ended up leading me to this review though was not all Josh's rude comments and inappropriate behavior. It was the used car sales manager. I tried to talk to him while we were there about the issues mentioned, as well as some other comments Josh made that I don't care to publish, and he brushed us off. Knowing that they were busy, and that it may have led to the dismissal of our concerns, I reached out to him via phone. He has yet to call me back, so I have to assume that he has no interest in what I want to say. If you do find yourself at Performance Honda (they do have a good selection), at least do yourself a favor and stay away from Josh H. Also, don't trust their online trade in tool. I was very honest about appearance and mechanical issues, listing everything accurately. They gave me an estimate, and then even reached put multiple times to tell us that they would be able to offer a better price than what was quoted...only to have them offer me less than 1/3 of the internet quote in person.
