Unexpectedly my 1999 Honda Accord, which I had purchased from Performance Honda, broke down, so I went back to the friendly folks there to get a new vehicle. Since it was unexpected that I needed a new car, I did not have a down payment saved up, but fortunately there was a special going on for a Zero Down/Zero Due lease option on a new LX model. Quite an upgrade from my 99 model! Joe Stenger was very helpful and even set up all the new tech options for me! Joe was not pushy in any way (especially since I went in alone as a single female), and he did not try to talk me into extra options that I didn't need. He was great! When this lease is up, I will buy/lease there again and I highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family! More
Terrible experience overall at Performance Honda in Fairfield! A manager, Reed Taylor, on 2/27/13 and 2/28/13, brought me in multiple times for a bait and switch. I requested a black or dark grey Accor Fairfield! A manager, Reed Taylor, on 2/27/13 and 2/28/13, brought me in multiple times for a bait and switch. I requested a black or dark grey Accord from my initial conversation. I was given a good price but lied to about what was in stock and what was available at other dealers. I left to look at another dealer because I wasn’t sure if I was getting an honest answer. After returning from looking at the other dealer I was told I need to put $1000.00 down for them to get my color choice in. After speaking with Reed Taylor on 3/1/13 I was informed that since I left yesterday the numbers will be different because I lost my "loyalty" points when I left to go and look at another dealer. He said he would call me back Friday afternoon. I received a call back on Sunday which is when Reed explained instead of my payment being $595/month (I have documentation of this), my new payment would be $650/month. By the way, Reed told me directly that the closest car in my color was in Columbus Ohio. He showed me a "printout" to confirm what he was saying. I caught him in a direct lie when I arrived at the other dealer with several options in my color and style. I have leased from this dealership before with a great experience. This dishonesty is not consistent with the image of this dealership. I would like the owners of the dealership to know how poor the quality of their manager is. Reed Taylor's arrogance to punish a customer for looking at options is inexcusable. Then to charge a returning customer $55 more a month because of his bruised ego is laughable and pathetic. I doubt this is what the image the dealership wants to promote. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You should check the BBB before going to Performance Honda. More
Joe was everything you hope to find in a car salesman. The financial manager treated me like a fool. He first gave me6.9% apr which was different than 3% the sales gave me. He told me that was because I have a bad credit score. Then I said I need to.talk to gave me6.9% apr which was different than 3% the sales gave me. He told me that was because I have a bad credit score. Then I said I need to.talk to my bank and get a better one, he asked me to wait and returned with 4.5% and said that the rate would be the same as I go to my bank. I was so shocked that the apr can be modified that easily. This is my first time getting a loan and I hate cheating personally. For testing purpose, as IT people usually do, I proposed that I may get better one from tHe local credit union because my company has partnership wIth them and Todd returned 3.29 % and said no one can beat this rate. Now I knew that he has no sincere working on the best interest of his customer but manipulating me as a child. All they were doing are asking me to sign their paper work before the loan talk. Why? That is becuause after they have my signature they can give any rediculous apr to this fool!!!! This may be wrong but it is my real feeling. I left the dealer without purchasing the car even though I like the car and I am okay with the price. Haha, that was not the end of the story. The sales manager and the financial manager came out ask me if I can accept the 0.9% interest rate that they just got for me after a "big fight with their manager". Gentalman, don't you feel TIRED OF LYING? You just told me that I can get nothing because I have a bad credit and 30 minutes later I became the "creditable person" in your eyes? I feel like I am nothing but only an ATM machine in front of them.... Pathetic, right? BTW, I like the sales, larry, if I spell right. Not pushy, okay professional, nice person. I will never come back to this dealer and I am gonna tell all the people around me this story. Guys, that maybe only my personal story to a extreme case. I am not an English speaker and I am sorry for any language mistakes here that make confusion to you. Good luck with your business, performance Honda! More

I had the BEST experience ever with Performance Honda! From the time I walked up until the time I left they treated me the same. Excellent customer service, great personalities, welcoming, and they are do From the time I walked up until the time I left they treated me the same. I have already provided 3 friends with my sales guy's info. I LOVE my car (2013 Accord EX-L), and I LOVE the fact that I got it from this dealer. Car had to go back 5 times. Each time the technicians broke something while fixing something. Now, after being told we could pay $79.95 for a "Higher Quality" oli change that only requires every 10,000 m broke something while fixing something.
