Painless car buying I have a great experience with Jenny Gladwell at Performance. Honda. I had worked with me and my wife to pick out our new Honda Insight been working I have a great experience with Jenny Gladwell at Performance. Honda. I had worked with me and my wife to pick out our new Honda Insight been working with another local Honda dealer and the sales person was a little pushy. Jenny matched the price that the other dealer was going to give us and worked with us to help pick out our new Honda Insight. Total lack of respect for my time. I was in several times to look at the vehicle I purchased and Brock, who was my sales person and was always very friendly and personable. The rest of I was in several times to look at the vehicle I purchased and Brock, who was my sales person and was always very friendly and personable. The rest of the staff leaves much to be desired. The sales manager tried to get me to sign a form that released them any liability stemming from two active recalls they were aware of and never addressed while it was within the Performance group for six months. We arrived with preapproved financing but waited forty minutes for Sean Gruber to finally call us to his office only to let us know he found the exact rate we already locked in before we arrived at the dealer. My wife finally asked how much the monthly payment would be with our down payment, something he never bothered to ask us. He then went to the sales manager and miraculously found us a slightly better rate, but only after sitting in his office for thirty minutes. When I chose to use the preapproved rate that was slightly higher he was very annoyed and in fact never even shook our hands after the paperwork was final. There is absolutely no reason to spend an hour and a half in a dealer after you have agreed on the price. My time is valuable and so is every other customers. I have made a point to share with friends and family my experience at this dealership and hopefully, those informed steer clear from Performance Honda in Fairfield. More

Great sales This is my second purchase from Shane personally but my 4th vehicle from Performance Honda. When I went in the second time, I was upfront with Shane and told him I didn't need the car, that I was looking and seeing if they could match my current car payment on an upgrade Pilot. Like the first, I bought my 2016 Pilot, no pressure, and understanding. In the end, I ended up buying a 2018 Pilot. Shane and Sean were awesome to work with. In end up calling Shane and having them add running boards on my car. No complaint from either Shane or Sean about it. It was great! More
