This is my second vehicle purchased at Performance Ford. I dealt with Ron Wood (who is not on the list above) who did a great job explaining the various trims available and finding a vehicle that fit my eye I dealt with Ron Wood (who is not on the list above) who did a great job explaining the various trims available and finding a vehicle that fit my eye. We were able to work out a fair price on the new car and on my trade. The car we negotiated wound up not being available, so Performance upgraded my purchase with no change in price. On delivery, Brian Telesz spent a lot of time with me going over the new touch-screen and voice technology and got me to the point where looking through the manual was more of a review process than a first-time learning process (though there is still a lot to learn). Mike Pyatt had several financing options already available when we sat down which made the closing process go quickly. Well done gentlemen... More

I had a great experience buying a new Ford Focus. Ragael greeted me before I even walked into the dealership. He was eager to get me the car that I wanted and to get me the best deal for my trade in car. Wh greeted me before I even walked into the dealership. He was eager to get me the car that I wanted and to get me the best deal for my trade in car. When we were looking for the car that I wanted he didnt just show me the cars that were outside but he also went and checked to see if anything just came in that wasnt on the lot. Im super happy he did that because there was a Ford Focus that showed up last night which was exactly what I wanted. He went over every part of the process and made me feel very comfortable. When I went and talked to the finance guy and the guy who showed me how to work the technology Rafael asked about each step to make sure that I was being taken care of. I had to wait for a cosigner of my old car to show up and he was very patience and caring. More

I Traveled a good distance to get a new truck that was listed on the internet, they had two that were close to what I wanted to purchase and that I could not find locally as they were 2011 left over diese listed on the internet, they had two that were close to what I wanted to purchase and that I could not find locally as they were 2011 left over diesels and I didn't want a 2012 model. I was given a relatively new sales person, Rafael, he knew nothing about the truck with respect to the functions, specifications or features if he couldn't read it off the window sticker he didn't know it. His sales style was to just ask how much do you want to spend or how much do you want to pay monthly. I took a test drive for about a mile and we were back at the dealer. The price was reasonable but for a left over 2011 was likely not the best they could offer. Their sales tactics are old school and a bit annoying, get a number and the sales guy disappears to the sales managers office, we go back and forth like this 4-5 times and then the sales manager Mike Pyatt, finally comes out to convince me he has given everything possible on the sale price and the trade in. Not once did they budge on the internet price, but every time the sales rep returned from the manager’s office he came out with different sets of numbers based on different terms than what I wanted. I wanted 60 months they come out with 72, 84 then 63 month terms just to make it look like they gave in on the price. These people are incredibly borderline in their practices and shady. They ask for a credit card, why I ask, it’s not needed, I am giving a large cash down payment and using ford credit to finance. The sales guy mumbles some nonsense and goes to plead my pricing case with the sales manager. Their quoted internet price was to be all inclusive except for taxes they said, but when the sales agreement came out there were outrageous registration and documentation fees $350 and $250 plus window etching, and other non requested services. Their big internet price turned out to be sticker price less the Ford rebates available, the dealership gave up nothing in this deal and was not willing to negotiate a lower price. They low balled the trade in using GAGE, claimed the trade vehicle had all sorts of problems that we knew it did not have in fact no one from service ever looked at the car nor did they test drive the vehicle. They were willing to give only 50% of a KBB trade in value. After a few hours we settled on a price and term, and I was getting the truck I had looked high and low for. So it’s off to see the finance guy, Kris Los and it’s getting late. Another two hours to do 15 - 20 minutes of work. Kris is a really nice fellow but rather than doing the paperwork on the agreed sale he is hard selling service plans and extended warranties, explaining the high costs of maintenance and how one can save lots of money to prepay the service plan, at the time it made perfect sense. I took a service maintenance plan which I cancelled two days later when I called around local Ford dealers where I would be getting service near home and checked prices for various services, I found out Performance Ford over stated / grossly exaggerated the projected service costs by upwards of 200% and I found out I could purchase the same plan at half the price directly from Ford. The Ford financing they offered was OK but we had excellent credit which should have resulted in a much better rate. Long story short I just refinanced the vehicle two weeks after the purchase through my local lender at half the rate Performance Ford offered. These changes and cancellations were not buyer’s remorse, but after researching pricing, options etc, I realized Performance Ford was not a bargain at all. In the end there was no one to help set up the systems, clean up or detail the vehicle, it even had an empty fuel tank when I leftthe dealership but the sales manager was to give a credit for a tank of fuel, never could find it in the final paperwork though. Had to go back and sign a new sales agreement after cancelling the service plan, I expected a refund of the purchase price, the finance guy rolled my maintenance plan payment which was cash in to the vehicle down payment and then crowed about the lower monthly payment I would have. Once these people get your money they don't let go. I did get a wash and minor detail that took two hours to complete, but the wax and cleaning job seemed to stop at the door sills. The truck is big and the detailer was a little guy so it got cleaned as long as he could reach it. I love the truck but not because of Performance Ford. They can't take credit for anything positive about this buying experience. The only thing they offered was a vehicle I couldn't find locally, I spent 8 hours at the dealership and traveled a total of six hours across two days to buy this vehicle and in hindsight had the most miserable experience of my life. Their financing was mediocre and the sales experience was really poor when compared to other vehicles and dealerships I have dealt with over the years. In the end it worked out for me, but as you can see it took a good deal of additional post sale work that any GOOD dealership would have provided when I first walked through the door. If you want a good buying experiance, look else where. More
