I went to the dealership to purchase either a fusion or a Taurus. Once inside I was greeted by Charlie Gossner. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and not like I was being "handled" by anyone. Justin was great - didn't pressure me or try to "sell" me - was very honest and didn't try to xx me or treat me like I was being "handled" by anyone. Just an easy going guy that knew what he was talking about, very relaxed and didn't try to put one over on me. Kris was cool too - very knowledgeable about what he was talking about and made sure to explain things so that I knew what I was about to sign. He also didn't try to sneak anything in or pressure me into buying anything I didn't want. He threw some options out there in the course of doing his job, but was not pushy or irritable about it. Both these guys, and some of the other sales guys that I had time to sit and watch while I was waiting weren't like your typical car salesmen. Just a relaxed and easy process from start to finish. In the end, I bought my first new car at the price I wanted and had a great experience in doing so. I've already recommended Justin and Performance Ford to some people. More

I purchased a new car from Performance and I had some minor scratches that needed attention. The sales staff I dealt with were the most aggravating and unconcerned staff and made me feel that all they r minor scratches that needed attention. Finally I had an appointment and went straight to service dept and not to sales floor, as I had been directed to do, i was met by a young man who was polite and attentive and immediately got a service manager to help me. Scott Shifter knew nothing of the tooth pulling pain that I had been enduring for the past three weeks dealing with sales dept. but was the most helpful, concerned and friendliest person I could have encountered! He made the entire situation a positive one, he literally turned a frown upside down and earned my service business for as long as I own the new car despite the fact that I live 60 miles from this dealer. THANK YOU SCOTT you truly are a professional in your field. More

If you like stereo typical car sales tactics, ie. keeping the keys for your trade at the reception desk so you can't leave, giving a credit card with your offer "to show you're serious", having the sales man the keys for your trade at the reception desk so you can't leave, giving a credit card with your offer "to show you're serious", having the sales manager in the plaid sport coat come out to talk to you about "what they can do to get you in the car today", then this is the dealer for you! I had looked at a car at Performance Ford about a year ago and had the same experience. Went back again because they had the specific color, options, etc... of the car I wanted on the lot - with a small glimmer of hope in my heart that maybe things had changed. They had not. Went down the road to Family Ford and had the exact opposite experience. Non-insulting negotiation process, 30% more for my trade, no games and no slimy experience that made me feel like I needed a shower after I left! Even my 10 year old son who accompanied me to both places commented on the difference. UPDATE 4/20/2013 Duke, Thanks for taking the time to respond to my review. The truth of the matter is that holding the keys at the reception desk and the salesman asking for my credit card to present with my offer to show that I am "serious" (not because I agreed to give a deposit as you state) are both designed to hinder a customers ability to leave during negotiations. Customers can read more about these common tactics with a simple Google search. Also it is a simple fact that I was offered $7000 for my trade by you and $9700 for my trade from Family Ford down the road - both based on Fords X-plan purchase price for the car. This alone got things pretty close to my "unrealistically low" offer. Also not sure who you called but I did not get any follow up phone calls on 3/4 and 3/8 as stated. More
