I want to be as detailed as possible to show this isn't an emotion based rant but rather an order of events. Part one- The Purchase We purchased an Explorer in March of 2017. Our salesman, Gage, was great. He was attentive and prompt. We fell in love with the Sport Edition and then began the dreaded process of negotiating price. This is where the experience turned for the negative (it usually does around this point of buying a car). Jera was the sales manager that day and was doing the typical back and forth "let me see what we can do". We got a price that we felt very good about. I specifically asked multiple times is that price included everything- tax, title, license, the sitting fee, docking fee, fee for the water bottle, the fee for asking so many questions, etc. He said the price shown was all inclusive. Needless to say, it was not. By the time we got back to the finance manager the price had jump $27/month. We worked on the price and they through in some tint and other add ons to close the deal. Robert, the finance manager, was understanding and helped the best he could. I still feel sick when I think about Jera and the slimy way the deal was offered. Part Two The Tint Robert hooked us up with one of their tint vendors as part of the Jera/pricing lies. We went to drop off our car only to find that we needed to schedule a loaner car. I guess they didn't think we wouldn't want to sit there for the six hours it took to get it done. So, we scheduled it with a loaner car a week later and went back. We picked up the car only to find that there were significant cuts in the seals of windows. Chunks taken out. And because Performance Ford had recommended the illegal tint, the light shown through those missing chunks like a ray beam. We drove it back and they said they would get it fixed. Third time is the charm right? Well we got another loaner car. One of the things they make you sign says you cannot have pets in the car. This car was a mess, full of animal hair. To the point I took pictures and had to vacuum it out before I picked my daughter up. On top of that, they left us with less than an eighth of a tank with the fuel light on. I digress, back to the tint. This time, when we got the car back, it peeled off two days later. Fourth time and 6-8 weeks later, we are back. They got it right... I wish. This time there was no tint put on the rear quarter panel windows. Jamon, the owner of Suntint, called and offered an apology. He was nice. His tint was terrible. So for a 5th time, we took it in and got it done by another company. We have tint!!! I know you are reading this thinking- get over it, it's tint. Not a big deal. What made it a big deal to me is the fact that this was what they were doing to make the deal "right" after Jera lied to us. This is what was supposed to make everything up to us. It did the opposite. It was horrible. From Jera on, the experience was awful. Scheduling a loaner, dropping the car off, the back and forth, it all adds up quickly. It takes a lot of time. It's stressful. I hated it. The tint was just part of it, but it was the most extreme and most pertinent example to illustrate the situation. Part Three- The Verdict Performance Ford has some great people. None better than Natalie. She was amazing through the whole process. Performance Ford has some real issues. If you are looking for honesty and a quick process, don't go here. I would never purchase a car here again. I couldn't imagine anything worse. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere. The $400-$500 you may save will not out weigh how brutal the experience is. It was not until July that our issue was resolved. Five months after purchasing our car. I would not recommend this to an enemy let alone my friends. Why listen to this? Cause I have nothing to gain from this. Just an honest customer experience. Honestly, I don't really care if you do. Is this a one time issue? No, it can't be just us that ran into so many issues. I believe this happens all too often. More

Also, the hibeams and fog lights didnt work. After a partial explanation of events by the salesman, Andy, the Sales Manager, Jason, said that they would pay up to $300 to fix, although they were not legally bound to do so and allegedly had the GMs permission. When he found out the details from me, he said they would pay the entire bill to have the lights in working order. The lights were fixed by Tues and the bill promptly scanned and emailed to Jason. It is now 06/01/17 and still no payment, just emails saying "the check is in the mail". In addition, this LEMON has spent more time at the repairshop than my previous 2002 Ranger which I had for 15 years.. AVOID these guys like the plague or HIV. More

I first contacted Devon (internet sales manager) about receiving a specific discount on an F150 order. He ASSURED me he could give me the discount and told me to come in to talk to a product expert. They deceived me and would not even come close to the discount they told me would be "no problem". I spent 2 hours at the dealership with little movement in price. I'm assuming they just told me that to get me into the dealership, which is totally unprofessional, not to mention being unethical. Contacted them a week later willing to negotiate a higher price in favor of them. Told me they would call me back. It's been a week and no call back. Still shocked they are willing to lie to potential customers to make a sale. They were literally thousands of dollars away from what I was told originally. There are numerous other Ford dealerships in the valley and I recommend going to them first. Possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. More

I had a decent experience and decided to give Performance Ford Bountiful a try to buy another vehicle for my company. I liked my salesman Dustin. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I did not care for his manager, as he came across as the typical sleazy car-salesman. After dealing with the back and forth games, we all agreed on final terms. However, when I went in to complete the financing, the figures and loan terms were not as agreed. I caught the figures and they changed it. However, the finance guy claimed the increased interest rate (6%) was "the best" they could do as it was set by Ford Financing, even though I have perfect credit and I had signed paperwork with the salesperson that we agreed to a lower rate (4%). I finally walked out after spending almost 6 hours at the dealership. I went to another dealership (LHM Ford Sandy) and was in and out in 1 hour, at even better terms. They even got me the exact truck I looked at, at this dealership. Use extreme caution when purchasing from Performance Ford Bountiful. I will not go to this dealership again. More

Reed Christensen has changed my perception of the dealership experience. He was attentive and never made me feel pressured. We worked with Jack as well and he was awesome. When we were ready to sign the deal was better than we had initially hoped. I have told everyone how great Performance Ford Lincoln is and that it will be my first stop the next time I am in the market for a vehicle. More
