Very unprofessional experience We drove 3 hours to this dealership to look at a specific vehicle that we had contacted Tim Cox about prior to the visit. After arriving, the front de We drove 3 hours to this dealership to look at a specific vehicle that we had contacted Tim Cox about prior to the visit. After arriving, the front desk staff introduced with with Mr. Cox and we went outside to look at the vehicle. We proceeded to test drive the vehicle ourselves without Mr. Cox due to him saying he was tied up inside with other business. After we returned I decided to compare our copy we personally obtained of the Carfax from their website to the one Mr. Cox provided us along with all service records. We found a few inconsistencies within their report they provided at the dealership. Upon asking about these, Mr. Cox tried to say the report we had was for a different vehicle, but once I showed him the VIN numbers on both of the reports were the same, he no longer argued that fact, and just chalked it up to our report being newer than the one the dealership had printed. We showed up with a cashiers check in hand as serious buyers, after giving our offer, Mr. Cox came back with a price higher than the sticker price on the vehicle saying “That’s the best I can do”, and was unwilling to negotiate. The total amount of time that we spent with Mr. Cox to try and make a deal lasted a total of 5-7 mins, and pretty much sent us on our way after I told him we weren’t paying higher than list price. I felt as if our time was a waste and we were being overlooked due to him ‘being tied up’ with other business even though this meeting was set up days in advance. Very unhappy with our visit. More
