Kevin Beck I have had great experience with the service and sales team and Pearl Automotive. The high level of customer service care is exceptional! Kevin Becker took great care of my vehicle service this past week, while I sat back and enjoy a free fresh baked cookies and a free wonderful latte. I went in for routine service and new tires for my Sienna. Kevin and his team were quick and went over everything with me. Exceptional Service!!!! More

So I called the dealer on a saturday and they told me they could not help me untill monday because the service department was closed. So monday at 7am I called got connected to service gave my vin number and they said they would have a tow truck driver call me to get it towed to the dealer. 10am no word back so I called and the lady who answered rudely said they had no record of my call. I said ok well who do i talk to to give my vin number again so i can get this key? Then she said oh let me go check with service ... nope no one remembers talking to you...ok who did i give my vin to... she said i dont know who did you talk to... i didnt know...so she said well maybe it was parts.. sure enough she found the guy i talked to but said it was my responsibility to get the car to the dealership... so long story short its taken me 3 days and still no replacement key. Lack of knowledge and zero customer service I have to take my corolla Toyota to get fix for a very noticeable jerking it does when it goes from 1st to 2nd gear. I called them and explained the I have to take my corolla Toyota to get fix for a very noticeable jerking it does when it goes from 1st to 2nd gear. I called them and explained the issue over the phone and the lady I talked to said that she was making notes. My husband had to take my car in for the appointment, there was a verbal misinterpretation of the issue, which is completely irrelevant due to the fact that the Toyota service for Toyota cars should be able to diagnose any issues with their special equipment specially made for Toyota cars. My husband was told that Toyota technician drove my car a couple times and did not notice an issues. So, they completed all the recalls the car had but did not bother to check it further. I think is very alarming that a so call Toyota technician drove my car and did not feel the strong jerking it does. I called them back the next morning and thanked them for fixing the recalls (which I had not asked for) and explained that the actual issues was not looked at. Instead of apologizing, I was immediately given the blame for their lack of knowledge of their own specialty. Further more, instead of offering to fix the problem right away I was told I had to reschedule and wait longer to take my car back. A few weeks before I called Toyota, I had taken my car to a mechanic who was able to diagnose the issue within minutes. Toyota service department should be embarrassed that they could not identify an issue that is very obvious. This Toyota service does not only lack knowledge of their own make of cars, they also lack customer service. And in all honesty, the busy schedule of the service department has only deter me from may be purchasing another Toyota in the future. Busy service department could only mean problem cars. More

WHY I recommend Peoria Toyota: I sent a WHY I recommend Peoria Toyota: I sent a "chat" to the Peoria Toyota dealer after working hours last Sat. inquiring about a Sienna XLE, including ex WHY I recommend Peoria Toyota: I sent a "chat" to the Peoria Toyota dealer after working hours last Sat. inquiring about a Sienna XLE, including exactly what we wanted on it. Sam Altpeter (309-231-2035) immediately chatted back, answering all of my questions succinctly. Sam is very professional and listens to what a customer says. (Something that seems difficult to find in car salesman). No sales talk bologna, cliches, run around, or excuses. Sam is a "Just the Facts" kind of guy. He saved us a lot of time with his manner, which we both appreciated and liked. Toyota was upgrading the wiring harness on the models with heated seats, so this model was difficult to find with the new harness. Sam said he'd have to check with Service Dept. to see if they'd received the harness yet, which he did first thing Mon. morning and emailed me that Service was installing the harness as he was writing me and with the complete description of the vehicle, so I could confirm that it had everything we wanted. It did. He then sent detailed pricing information, which was VERY competitive. (We had checked what we should pay for this specific vehicle on Consumer Reports, as well as with other dealers.) Sam gave "our" vehicle priority for the harness installation in the Service Dept. to have it ready by 4 p.m. on Monday. We live 4 hours from Peoria, so this was perfect timing. We were willing to drive the extra distance to work with someone who responds well to our needs and does what he says he will do and do it promptly. It also showed that Sam would go the extra mile to meet customers' needs. (I later learned that Sam was having dinner at Chilli's with his family when he received my first "chat" on Sat. evening.) We received excellent pricing with Toyota's rebate AND this dealership's discount. We would highly recommend Sam Altpeter at 309-231-2035, as well as the Service Dept. at Peoria Toyota. It is a first class dealership with first class people. Linda S. More
I was looking for a specific Venza, and Peoria Toyota had a perfect match. I called in and talked to David. He is very professional sales consultant and was able to answer all my questions. After few phone c a perfect match. I called in and talked to David. He is very professional sales consultant and was able to answer all my questions. After few phone calls and going back and forth on the sale price we came to an agreement and I left a deposit (credit card was charged right away). Having secured the sale I proceeded with a purchase of an airplane ticket (I live in a different state) and made arrangements with David to be picked up from the airport. 4 hours later (!!!) one of the managers called me and....told me that unfortunately this particular vehicle was sold!!?? It obviously didn't sound right because I and David had been working out the details for over two days, and at all times he referred to management for approval, thus they had been informed from the start of our conversation about this deal. I can easily figure out what happened: most likely the vehicle was sold for more than I had offered!!! Very disappointing to see something like this happening with a well reputable dealership, but I guess money comes before customer service at Peoria Toyota!!! Decide for yourself!!! More
