Shady Sales Tactics Upon meeting my Costco representative, Bob Lackner, we were passed off to a floor salesman (Luigi Bianco). Daughter was lookjng for white Crosstrek, Upon meeting my Costco representative, Bob Lackner, we were passed off to a floor salesman (Luigi Bianco). Daughter was lookjng for white Crosstrek, which they didn't have on the lot, so we test drove another color to ensure she liked the model. While negotiating an out the door price for the model in white, Luigi reverted to slimy sales tactics. Asked unsuccessfully to see the invoice of a vehicle, which Costco states the dealer will provide. When mentioning Costco, Luigi said give me your card, BUT you won't get this deal because they had to pay Costco. Then he came back with terms on an out the door price, with a sign here that you will buy from me today, only to notice it was a higher interest rate then the 2.9 that Subaru was offering (daughter has credit score of 755). Obviously trying to recoup revenue by jacking up her interest rate. I have purchased my last 5 vehicles through the Costco program, including 2 from Moore Jeep. Moore Jeep was a pleasant experience, thus why we thought we would experience the same with Peoria, which is owned by Moore. Not the case....save yourself from the slimy tactics, and go to a dealer who's transparent throughout the whole process. More
