Congratulations! But Wait! It began on Presidents' Day, Monday. We choose our next new Subaru, which wasn't on the lot yet. We got a GREAT deal! But had to wait until it arrived It began on Presidents' Day, Monday. We choose our next new Subaru, which wasn't on the lot yet. We got a GREAT deal! But had to wait until it arrived. No big deal. Peoria Subaru called us Wednesday afternoon that the vehicle was ready. The Finance Manager, Pete Saenz, got us a great rate and terms that fit our budget. We also received a very good price on our lease return requiring no additional expenses. Everything went smoothly until the time to receive the keys. The Sales Manager regretfully notified us Subaru has a safety recall & they could not release the vehicle to us until the recall was addressed. Parts were on the way, but it would take a week or so. While disappointed, it wasn't a big deal. Peoria Subaru provided a loaner the same year and model as we purchased at no charge. But the loaner vehicle was filthy inside. We understand they didn't want us to wait any longer than necessary, and we truly appreciate everything they're doing for us. It is apparent Peoria Subaru scrambled at the last minute to make the deal good for us in the face of the recall notice which the Sales Manager said was received while we were with the Finance Manager. "I JUST received this." Still, not being able to drive home the purchased vehicle nor our original vehicle, but a loaner that was less than pristine is the reason for the overall rating. It took 30 minutes to clean the vehicle interior once I got home. On another positive note, I know someone interested in buying the loaner vehicle. More

Very Disappointing What a disappointing service appointment. I scheduled a service appointment online and indicated that I would need the shuttle service. It then gave m What a disappointing service appointment. I scheduled a service appointment online and indicated that I would need the shuttle service. It then gave me set times to schedule. When I got there I was told the shuttle wouldn’t come for another hour. Had to call into work late because of that. While sitting in the waiting area I spoke to a gentleman who told me to come to expect that because they never have the shuttle ready or a loaner car even when you call ahead to set it up. After finally getting my car back I realize that the multi point inspection must not include a full inspection. The same day I found out I had a headlight out, a ripped windshield wiper, and my washer fluid was empty. Thankfully we realized that before getting on the road for a road trip. The whole idea of taking my car in for service was that I could put my family in the car and head out of town with out being concerned that the car would have an issue. I was wrong. Called to speak to the service manager and just like the rest of the experience I’m left disappointed because he never returned my call. More
