Let me just start out by saying I have trust issues when it comes to car dealerships and cars in general. I did not know what to expect walking into Peoria Subaru but simply saying my expectations were exce it comes to car dealerships and cars in general. I did not know what to expect walking into Peoria Subaru but simply saying my expectations were exceeded is an understatement. Dean was so kind and down to earth. He made me feel so comfortable. He showed me the car I was interested in and allowed me to test drive it right away. It didn’t feel like I was pressured or like he was trying to sell me anything at all. It felt like we were just having a casual conversation and getting to know each other. Seemed like he was more interested in making me feel comfortable and at ease before we even started getting into the details of the sale. At first I was hesitant so I asked a lot of questions looking for a reason to walk away but he took the time to answer all my questions honestly with a sincerity that showed he truly cared. I told him I had a trade and he drove the car with me and took it to the back to get appraised, then he went over the car fax with me and told me what they could offer me for my trade. It wasn’t what I hoped for so I started to stress out but Dean did not give up on me. I hadn’t even put in an application yet to see if I would qualify however, he was so patient with me and truly wanted to work with me to make sure I felt confident in the trade and getting a fair amount for it. That’s when he asked Troy to step in… Troy is the Finance Manager there at Peoria Subaru. He helped me get top dollar for my trade and gave me several options to choose from on how I wanted to proceed. The way he explained everything made perfect sense to me. I explained to Troy what I wanted in a vehicle which was security in knowing I was gonna be safe in something mechanically sound that would last for years to come. He listened and understood what my concerns were and gave me his honest opinions and advice, along with the facts on all ends of the spectrum (which I really appreciated.) He was so informative… He never once told me what I should or shouldn’t do. I still hadn’t even put in an application yet to see if I was even going to be able to qualify but yet he was so patient with me. He truly made me feel like it was about meeting my needs more than it was about selling a car. Not once did I feel rushed or uncomfortable. He wanted to make sure I was sure and confident in every aspect. I decided to finally fill out an application but I got denied because of my credit. Troy went above and beyond to get me approved for this car loan and he didn’t stop there… He got me a great rate and made sure everything I wanted to add on was added and that it fit perfectly within my budget. I was astonished at how hard he fought at getting the bank to approve me. I kept looking for “the catch” but there was none. Nothing hidden, nothing unmentioned, nothing at all that made me feel hesitant for even a second. Troy got me into a brand new 2024 Subaru Impreza Sport. My first ever brand new car! His determination, dedication, and compassion blew me away. I feel ecstatic and so very satisfied! Peoria Subaru offers the BEST prices in town by far if you don’t believe me just check for yourself. They also offer the best affordable warranties. I got my vehicle covered bumper to bumper for the next 6 years! That means I can go to ANY Subaru dealership in the nation if I have any problems at all! Subaru also has an incredible free loyalty program where they replace all 4 for your tires after 25k miles, twice! There’s so many other amenities that I got hooked up with just for being part of the Subaru family. I truly felt like all of this was too good to be true, but every time I get into my new car I feel overwhelmed by joy and gratitude for what the guys at Subaru did for me that day. I have had to fix things that the dealer mechanic was unprepared to fix. Since a tube was too loose on the windshield washer pump, the dealer mechanic used a wire tie. That leaked. He didn’t have a prope unprepared to fix. Since a tube was too loose on the windshield washer pump, the dealer mechanic used a wire tie. That leaked. He didn’t have a proper hose clamp, I put a hose clamp on it and now it doesn’t leak. There are some fasteners that had to be popped out to access under the cowling to fix a leak in the windshield washer. The dealer mechanic did not have replacement fasteners so again he used a wire tie. I have ordered replacement fasteners and should get them by Friday. A DEALER mechanic should have proper supplies. He tried but he didn’t have proper supplies. It’s not the mechanic’s fault, it’s the dealership/management that is to blame. More
