Sold a car out from under me. I bought a new Honda CRV from Pensacola Honda in May 2011. I have been very happy with the vehicle and I have had all of my maintenance service work done at Pensacola Honda. I have been happy with the service department. So when I was in the market for another vehicle I faithfully returned to Pensacola Honda. I found a used 2010 Honda Civic on 09/10/14 that had just come on to the lot and I made an appointment to look at it and drive it that evening. I liked the car so I asked my salesman to give me a buyers order to take to my credit union for financing. I was approved for the loan the next day 09/11/14 so I called my salesman to make an appointment for that evening after work to get the car. I got a phone call about 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me the car was sold. I couldn’t believe they would sell the car out from under me or treat a loyal returning customer that way. I was very upset and asked the salesman to have a manager call me, after almost 2 hours with no phone call, I drove to the dealership and was told my salesman had left for the day. I told my story to the Sales Manager who replied “first check in the door gets the car, we don’t hold cars for anybody”. I am still stunned by this cavalier attitude towards customers. We were told to wait on a call Saturday about financing (because we live an hour away from the dealership). They told us they would contact the bank first thing in the morning, and get back to us right away. After half the day had passed, we left messages with the salesman and finance manager. We finally got a call back Monday saying the van had sold. Thanks for the follow up guys! We went down the road to Allen Turner and left with an even better and more reasonably priced van a few hours later. Not impressed with Pensacola Honda, and would not recommend them to family or friends. More
Best of the Best! My husband and I went in specifically to walk out with a purchased vehicle. We had done our research and even visited other dealerships. We had horrible experiences and hoped that Pensacola Honda would come through for us. As we arrive, we were greeted and introduced to Jonathan in sales. From the minute we met to the end of our sales, Jonathan saw us through it all. We told him we were interested in a fully loaded civic but could see we were also interested with an accord. We had a specific budget we wanted to stay with and Jonathan not only worked with us to find the best option, but he didn't try to give us what we didn't want. When we went to finance and completed the process, Rafiq was so helpful. He explained all of our paperwork to us, gave us the best option for our car and lifestyle, and was extremely personable. From the minute we walked in, to the drive home in our new car, we have never had such an amazing and enjoyable experience. The professionalism from our encounters were fantastic and I can honestly say, we were treated like friends. The process was so seamless that we will be back to purchase another within the next 1-3 months! More

They say if you recommend some one and they buy a car they will give you $100.00, THEY WANT I guess they just want you to help them sell a car cause that the only way they can . I just had maintenance service which was done very timely. They give coupons which help with those costs. Just afterwards, my car broke down. What an unbelievably great experience! From the moment my husband and I stepped onto the lot, everyone made us feel like friends instead of just a customer! Brian, Rafik, and Gator were friendly, knowledgeable and did everything possible to make this the best experience we have ever had in car buying. There was no stuffiness. As a matter of fact everyone we dealt with smiled, laughed, and had such a great sense of humor, which was a nice change to how we have been treated at past dealerships. I would highly recommend Pensacola Honda to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car. I don't understand any of the negative ratings listed.. We saw/experienced nothing but polite, happy professionals who enjoyed making their customer satisfied with their purchase. We will drive the 65 miles again, when it's time to shop for our next car! Wanted a Honda Civic. Tried to get an accurate price from Carlton Hopson (sp?) and see if a price from another dealership could be matched. He said they could match it and do better. I tried to call him and email him then.... and no response. contacted another person doing the dealership online chat and it was a female. She told me Carlton was way off base telling me they could match and beat the price I got, even though I saved the transcription of the online chat with him. I now own a beautiful new Hyundai. Yes, Hyundai. Not a honda. If you want a honda.... go check out a Hyundai. If you have to have a Honda, go somewhere else. More
THIS DEALERSHIP IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. All they care for is the money and nothing else. They need a lesson or two in handling frustrated customers. . We bought a Honda Pilot that had defective brakes that I could feel. I test drove another Pilot and I could tell the difference. I really had to press the pedal down to the floor for it to stop. But when I reported this to the manager Boondy and asked for a replacement Pilot (since the car was still new and was driven only 40 miles after it was bought), he presumed himself to be "smart" and tried to convince us that the brakes were perfect. He even sent two of his "goons" to "convince" us because we had bought the vehicle already and we cannot disown it. Is it not fair to give a replacement when a new vehicle is defective .... that too in the brake system?? He has no conscience at all, and cares only for vitamin M. If money is what they are after, they may as well set up a BxxxxxL and do not need to cheat vehicle buyers and customers:-(. warning. DO NOT GO TO PENSACOLA HONDA EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH. More
I am a salesman, Its people like this that give salespeople a bad name. The people we spoke to, had an attitude like something you would see in a movie. They were ignorant to the fact I'm human. First we saw a car online we wanted to see. Note this dealership is 2 hours away for us. While on our way we call to get directions. And after 15 minutes of being told how to get down one road. I just wanted the mailing address to GPS the place. That didn't happen either. The salesman then made a statement of intent, that when we arrived a sales associate will tell us about the car and go over the cost. I again asked for the address, he stated the car was at another lot than the one he is. It's Pensacola there are a lot of dealerships on that road. So I figured it would be a couple doors down. NO. The car was in Montgomery and this knowledge was not going to be given to me. Knowing I'm making a 2 hour drive to see THAT car. I don't know why, but we went to see these people anyways. We talked to a different associate because the first on the phone was "committed to another customer" and "didn't want to see us" ... Nicely sugar coated. After walking around we were told you can't come into a dealership with a budget and expect to get what you wanted... Our only request was white with a sunroof. Didn't matter make or model or year, you know not a lemon. But white with a sunroof is impossible with a budget. We went to rob at Hyundai and got a Cadillac CTS white with sunroof at 2k less than our budget limit. Don't deal with these people at Honda their not even salespeople. Because salespeople are people too. Which these people are robots. More
