The rating scale on this site is missing a rating level in which I could choose from to accurately describe my feelings about our dealings with Penn Toyota. It would be "PHENOMINAL".That would be the only way to describe everyone of my experiences at Penn Toyota. This is the 5th or 6th vehicle we have obtained from Penn Toyota within the past 7 years. The staff is simply incredible to say the least. What is normally a very stressful type of purchase due to the barracuda like staff's I have dealt with in the past at other dealerships in the surrounding areas, is now one my family looks forward to making. Speaking from a parents perspective as well, my 3 and 6 year old can do no wrong when they are at Penn looking at cars with myself and my wife. They can do PLENTY WRONG but everyone at the dealership makes lite of it which keeps us (mom and dad) relaxed and allows us to listen so we make the right decision. My kids act like we just told them they are going to Disney when we tell them we are going to the car store again. Every car we buy means we made at least 3 or 4 trips to the dealership. We make no quick decisions when buyng a car and everytime we enter the doors at Penn, we are always greeted with the same friendly smiles we have now become accustomed to seeing. So thanks again, Robert, Chris, Ray and James C. . I could not recommend Penn Toyota enough. Just PHENOMINAL !!! More

After looking at several cars, I decided to test out the Scion XD. Phil was genuinely interested in helping me to make the right decision in buying the right car for me. Robert was attentive to both my wife and me and our requirements regarding a new car. He has a excellent knowledge of what the various Toyota models offered. Robert suggested we test drive the Corolla requirements regarding a new car. He has a excellent knowledge of what the various Toyota models offered. There was no “bait and switch,” tired clichés, or double-talk; we had a simple and straightforward negotiation. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles in his fleet and found one that met my exact specifications. His reliability in returning phone calls, meeting promised dates, and following up on my purchase was a breath of fresh air in an industry that is known to at times have a lackluster reputation. Whether it was being friendly to my children, offering us a bottle of water on a hot day, or personally assisting us in putting in our car seats, he was an exceptional salesperson throughout the process. I cannot thank him enough and would not hesitate to recommend him to a friend when they are looking to acquire a new vehicle. More
Being that it was my first time purchasing a used car, I was petrified with how my experience would be in a car dealership. However all that changed when I stepped into Penn Toyota. Especially their sales person Tommy Kim (totally awesome!) He is extremely patient, very knowledgeable, caring and honest. He didn't try to pressure me to buy like how some other dealers would. Tommy went through every single detail with me and left no question unanswered. Truly amazing customer service. Because of him I got a great deal and was able to take home my baby with a huge smile on my face. Thank you Penn Toyota, you shall be seeing me again! More
Ryan Fernandez was a pleasure to deal with, very helpful and low key which I value, price was OK and when I came across a sharper price they acccommodated me. I had visited two other dealers in the area, neither one had inventory of the LE model and they were from the "take it or leave it'" school with virtually no give on price, and I wasn't being a pig with either of the other dealers. Penn came across as wanting to do business, and they had cars in stock. Excellent experience overall. More

Okay, I bought what was supposed to be a certified pre-owned Toyota Camry. We agreed on a price, and then they tried to sneak in some extra service fee for $75, which they notified me about after we pre-owned Toyota Camry. We agreed on a price, and then they tried to sneak in some extra service fee for $75, which they notified me about after we had signed all the paperwork and were waiting at the dealership for hours, and were too tired to argue. I refused to pay it. Two months later, I took it in b/c the tire light was on, and the tire sensor had to be replaced. However, they also found that the sold me the car and the recall work hadn't been done on the car. Aside from this being an illegal sale due to the lack of recall work, they let me drive off with my 4 month old baby in the back seat - which is just awful. I tried contacting the dealership 5 or 6 times to address the situation, and they never called me back. Now, we are in June, I took the car in b/c other dashboard lights started flashing. And of course, I find out that the brake pads need to be replaced (after just 6,000 miles of driving) - which cost me $600. The brake pads are required to have less than 50% wear per the 160 point inspection. Given all these issues, the bottom line is that it is clear to me they did not do the 160 point inspection on this car, and I continue to pay for it. I traded in a 2005 Toyota and didn't have to put a dime into it - this has been a really frustrating experience. UPDATE Since the original posting, Penn Toyota contacted me and worked with me over the last several weeks to successfully resolve the situation. I know feel confident that the vehicle is safe, and that I got a fair deal. Penn Toyota is clearly committed to customer service, and my experience was surely a rare exception. More
