I have now bought 3 Toyotas from Penn Toyota. My current salesperson, Joni Glantz was excellent & went the extra yards in helpfulness, I would highly recommend her to anyone buying a Toyota. I had contacted Penn originally via email & Joni responded right away. we made an appointment for 12/30 & withing a few hours I was out of there with a brand new 2011 Toyota RAV4. I felt the trade-in given on my car was fair & their pricing was a bit below other quotes I had gotten. It was a fast, clean & easy experience--cannot ask for more. We went into Penn Toyota just to test drive a Highlander. We were in the market, but did not expect to walk out with a new car. We were greeted by Ryan Fernandez. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about the car, and answered all of our questions. He took time to make us feel comfortable and at ease while at the dealership. He even went out of his way to get paper and crayons for my girls to color with. He got us a great price and a generous trade-in. He was very low pressure, and did not at all make us feel uneasy. He gave us plenty of time to think about our decision. We went home and dropped off our kids, came back and bought the car! Everyone that we dealt with in the dealership - from Ryan to all the managers, to the other salesmen were all so friendly and laid back. It was by far the smoothest and easiest car buying experience we have ever had! We were driving home in our new 2012 highlander the very next day! On 12.29.11 my family visited the Penn Toyota to purchase a used vehicle we had seen on line, after being greeted by Mike Piedmont and shown the vehicle in question we had some concern about the sound of the a used vehicle we had seen on line, after being greeted by Mike Piedmont and shown the vehicle in question we had some concern about the sound of the engine, we listened to other comparable toyota and was not to comfortable with what we heard. He took us inside and brought his manager,who immediately said "which one are you referring to the one with the blown engine, we can replace that for you,if you want it" my husband took him up on his offer and he said he could not do that, since he think thats a good deal, he then told us that Nigerians are purchasing those vehicles and sending them back to Nigeria, I was surprise, thinking of what relevance this had to do with us, I advised him that we are not Nigerians and would be using our right here. I also told hime we would like to sleep on this and would return the next day, the manager got irate, got up pushed out his chair and said " you people can sleep on it for the naxt year, I'm putting back up the original price and will sell it to smarter buyers" I asked him what makes us not smart asking questions and not purchasing because we had concerns,we decided to leave and thank Mike for his time, but expressed our shock at his manager attitude. Mike called us about 10 minutes after we left to applogize and said " I do not know what has gotten into him to behave like that and say what he said and that his Manager boss, would like for us to return and would offer us a $250 discount. I thanked him for his appology but told him we will have to pass on any offer from Penn as I found his manager behaviour reprehensable and un-called for.They called us again today to apologize and ask us to come in. I would not go back and would not recommend Penn Toyota to anyone. I would like to remind Penn that customers are entitle to ask questions about concerns, if they are not comfortable, it is your jobs to show them other items that are comparable or suggest other items, if this is not your top priority you should consider not being in this industry. Today I purchase a New 2012 Toyota high lander form Lynbrook Toyota after walking in to buy a used and because of great customer service,I changed my mind about getting a used vehicle. PENN please offer your managers a refreshers customer service course, esspecially Mike Piedmont Manager. More
We had decided to buy a new 2011 Prius after I had done research on hybrids. My past car buying experiences had not always been positive, so I came armed with all the prices and knew what I wanted in my ne research on hybrids. After reading many dealership reviews, I chose Penn Toyota, since their ratings were generally good and they were conveniently located. Upon arriving at Penn Toyota, Mike Piedmont greeted us and made us feel at ease immediately. He explained everything patiently, in detail every step of the way to make sure we understood and even insisted we take a test drive. We came with a trade-in and he did his best to give us the best offer he could for my older model car. He negotiated a fair price for the new car and Penn Toyota had a coupon for up to $750.00, for which he deducted the full value. Mike made the car buying experience the least stressful that I have ever had. Then we were taken to John who did not pressure us into buying anything we didn't want as far as "extras". Since we were not financing the car, we purchased the extended warranty and we were processed quickly. Mike showed us all the features in the car and even synched the phone to the bluetooth. We were then introduced to Laurie, the service manager, who wanted to make sure we understood all the maintenance procedures that were necessary to keep the car running well. She was sincerely interested in making sure we brought the car in regularly and told us to call her directly if we had any questions or concerns. These people treated us like customers should be treated and took their time to explain everything thoroughly.The whole thing took 4 1/2 hours and we were on our way home with our new Prius. More
All i have to say about this dealership was <33333. First of all, I got off the bus early and got lost on my way here. Out of all the dealerships that I have been to, he was the first to ask what i wanted and verified it. Not only that, but he also asked if i wanted him to go over the features of the car that i had my eyes set. After going through all the features of the car and showing me a few aspects of the car that i did not know the car had, I definitely fell in love with the car. After looking at the model i had my eyes set on, we sat down and discussed what i wanted in the car. He had to deal w. 4 people (myself, my mom, and my 2 cousins). There was a lot of going back and forth that we had to deal with. My first time at this dealership, although this back and forth amongst ourselves and the dealer took about 3 hours, and i'm already out the door with a brand new car at a very nice price considering the features included. <33 More
This is my first experience at this dealer for service. I just switched from another dealership (Millenium Toyota)as I had grown tired of their poor customer service and very poor quality of work. Even though I only had an inspection done Larry was warm,friendly and very personable.They are presently under construction but I felt they went above and beyond to make the customers as comfortable as they could. I presently own 2 toyotas and will be bringing both cars to Penn Toyota for service from now on. More

Dealer has some serious integrity issues. In short, we negotiated a sale out of state but they failed to disclose 2 issues. We negotiated the deal over the phone and were told many times the vehicle was ok and no problems with it. When I arrived after travelling from out of state I find bad scratches on the front bumper and a quarter size crack on the windshield. Obviously it is a used car but I don't have issues with the problems HOWEVER I do have issues with the fact they failed to mention these issues before I was there and during the pricing negotiation. They should have just been upfront about that in the first place. They offered a $250 to repair the bumper of course at a renogiation. They failed to mention a $200 USED purchase coupon offer we found out they were running on their website after I got home with the vehicle. Buyer beware. More
I just purchased my 3rd car from Penn Toyota and I would never consider buying from anyone else. The staff has always made me feel welcome and part of their extended family. The car was exactly what I was hoping for and I look forward to continuing my relationship with Penn Toyota in the future and visiting their new facility once it is completed in March of 2012! More
