This was the least painful car buying experience I have been a part of, and candidly was surprisingly easy. Granted I leveraged the Costco Auto Buying Program for my wife's new 2019 Subaru Ascent, but Bret and his colleagues were very clear and prompt with their support / explanations. Bret even took the time to take us on an extended test drive where both my wife and I were able to test drive the vehicle we ultimately purchased a few days later. Even the dreaded Finance portion of the experience was handled professionally by D.J. Overall a positive experience that will likely drive repeat business. More

Free oil changes for life(if you have lots of time to waste) I went in for an "Express Oil Change" today. I was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half. That's ok, I have the day off. Two hours and 15 min I went in for an "Express Oil Change" today. I was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half. That's ok, I have the day off. Two hours and 15 minutes later I'm still waiting so I decide to walk around outside. I saw my car still sitting in the lot. I asked the service rep if it was still waiting to get in and she said yes and gave no indication that it would make it in any time soon. Two hours and 15 minutes and it hadn't even made it into the shop yet. What a waste of time. I didn't have the patience to wait any longer so I took my keys and left. If a "free" oil change is going to take three plus hours it's not free. I would rather pay an oil change shop and be done in 20-30 minutes. Buying a new Subaru(2015 Forester) from and dealing with Peninsula Subaru has been a huge disappointment. I don't recommend either one. I'm not impressed with the Forester or Peninsula Subaru. More
