We had a great experience at Peninsula Subaru! Peninsula Subaru was recommended to us by a friend. They didn’t disappoint there. Our car arrived earlier than expected and both DJ and Nick made the buying process very easy. They explained things thoroughly and went over all of the maintenance packages that were optional for us. DJ went above and beyond taking time to go over all the bells and whistle‘s in the car. We hadn’t had an experience like that at any other Subaru dealership in the region. Even though it’s not the closest Subaru dealership to us, we appreciate their family values and of course the free oil changes for life are a huge bonus! We will definitely be referring people we know to peninsula Subaru. Overall a great experience! More

This is my first time buying from Peninsula and I was very pleased. I have previously owned 2 Subaru's. Bret let me test drive the car over several roads at different speeds and terrain. He explained all the amenities and what they did, When I picked up the car, he drove to Poulsbo to pick me up and take me to get the car. Then he spent an hour going over all the things in the car, personalizing the screen, Bluetooth, radio etc. He invited me to come back in a few weeks to go over the "Love-Encore" program and set up the first oil change. I have already referred 5 friends to you, I told them when they are ready to buy to ask for Bret. Thanks for all your help Bret. I really appreciate all your help and service. More

Every experience has been marked by honesty, integrity and reliable relationships. I always dealt with DJ Dougherty, as we first met over the internet when I purchased my Forester thru him whilst living in Australia. He made the transaction painless and my vehicle was waiting for me upon return to the USA. Unlike many dealerships - at least my experience with DJ - there was never any pressure nor distasteful negotiations. DJ explained all the available options and their pros/cons, and asked good questions to sort out if I truly needed an option. DJ and I discussed pricing and I was always given a discount. Yes, the dealership still made a profit, but that is OK with me - that's why they're in business. But I always felt I received a fair and reasonable price. The Service Dept is also very good. If your near Peninsula Subaru, I highly recommend you consider them for your next vehicle purchase, either new or used. A happy Subaru owner. More

Easy, fair price and outstanding customer service. When the Subaru Ascent was announced , a year ago, I reached out , via email, to DJDaugherty asking when vehicle would be available etc. DJ responded When the Subaru Ascent was announced , a year ago, I reached out , via email, to DJDaugherty asking when vehicle would be available etc. DJ responded immediately. I subsequently decided to wait a year so in April of this year I reached out to DJ. At the time we were still in Mexico as that is where we spend the winter. I asked DJ for a quote on a specific Ascent for leasing and requested : money factor, selling price, capitalized cost assumed in lease calculation. Within a half hour he responded with all my questions answered but he informed me that vehicle would be not available for three weeks as it was in transit. Since I wanted the vehicle sooner I reached out to some other Subaru dealers. All responded but none responded as promptly as DJ. Some took days. One day passed and DJ sent me an email informing me that a vehicle that I wanted was just received from another dealer. I immediately responded and asked for lease numbers for that vehicle assuming no down payment. Within minutes DJ responded so I called him from Mexico informing him I wanted the vehicle and we arranged payment of money to hold vehicle until we returned home in three days. Upon return I met with DJ , signed paperwork and with 20 minutes was on my way. One very satisfied customer. More

Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and helpful which helped make buying a car fun. I felt confident walking out that I had gotten a great deal for my money and had not been oversold or pressured to buy something that I couldn't afford or didn't want. I know I will enjoy my Impreza for years to come. I will return to this dealership when I am ready to buy again. More

The best Subaru Dealer I have ever purchased from I have owned and purchased 7 Subaru's over the years. My sales person at another distributor left so I decided to look elsewhere. It was Sunday and sa I have owned and purchased 7 Subaru's over the years. My sales person at another distributor left so I decided to look elsewhere. It was Sunday and saw this distributor was closed for Family day. Honestly, I liked that. First thing Monday morning I emailed to get an internet price and within minutes received a great price from DJ, the internet sales manager. I had a 3 hour drive to see the car and yes, there were dealers closer, but I liked dealing with a smaller family distributorship. Upon arrival we test drove the new Forester while they checked out my older F orester that I was trading in, which could have been a deal breaker. I was very pleased that they came back with a spot on price for my old car. I had reviewed Kelly Blue Book and knew what the fair trade in price would be and they were right on. Done deal and we completed the purchase. DJ then took me out to the car, programmed everything, explained everything and in closing also was gracious in knowing that I was a distance away and for his customers he is happy to help them with transportation for future services. I forgot to mention also, FREE oil changes for life! Last, while with another DJ, the finance manager, that was a great experience as he explained everything as to what my options were and there was no pressure in making my closing decisions which I really appreciated.
