We brought our truck in for service thinking it was fuel filters. This dealership advised us they needed to take a deeper dive into the fuel system. The truck was warranted by the auction we bought it at, filters. This dealership advised us they needed to take a deeper dive into the fuel system. The truck was warranted by the auction we bought it at, so we informed the dealership that we needed to get approval from the auction before they started any additional work. Through that process an imposter came to the dealership representing the auction and picked up our truck, in other words he stole it. The dealership did not ask for identification, did not call us for a release, did not ask for the transportation company's name, the imposter paid our ticket in cash so he could steal our truck. When we asked to get surveillance of the perp that stole our truck we were told "I have to be honest with you, we have cameras, but they don't work." Now here is the good part....... *2 days of calling and asking for either the owner or GM to discuss what has happened. We finally talked to the GSM Brian which pretty much told us this is our problem, not theirs and we would never be allowed to speak with the owner. Lastly, their defense is, they were instructed to release the truck to a transporter of the auction. THIS IS NOT TRUE. It's the owner's responsibility to get the vehicle back to Manheim Dallas. We were in communication with the auction to determine whether they wanted the dealership to fix the truck or for us to bring it back at our expense from a transporter of our choice. At no time was it ever discussed with the dealership that the auction would be picking up the truck. This a made-up story for them to avoid responsibility for their negligence. More
I took my car in for a diagnostic check few months back. I was told by advisor Marlena that I would need EITHER a starter or a flywheel for a ticking noise . I told her I just wanted to fix the issue and sh I was told by advisor Marlena that I would need EITHER a starter or a flywheel for a ticking noise . I told her I just wanted to fix the issue and she stated the tech would proceed by replacing the starter to see if this fixed the issue because it was cheaper in price . After keeping my car 2 days she contacted me stating they had replaced my starter and the issue was 100% fixed, they also advised I needed a fresh oil change so I accepted . Two days later I had a louder ticking noise than before I took the car in . I took the car back in the following week as instructed by a manager to take another look and then said it would be the flywheel that needed replaced . I informed would bring the car back 2 weeks later to replace flywheel and they told me this was FINE .I didn’t drive my car that much in the meantime but the noise got LOUDER . So I scheduled an apt the soonest they had . When I went in they drained my oil out and then said I needed engine replaced then turned around stating would charge me around $500 to check the engine . I picked the car up on a trailer as didn’t want car to get any worse driving it . When we delivered the car to another Chevrolet location for 2nd opinion they informed the car oil was 100% drained out so this tyler location drained all my oil out , causing my engine to lock and NEVER advised of this until I contacted manager mr MILLER about the issue where he then confirmed the tech drained the oil out but REFUSED to refund me for the oil change I had received 2 WEEKS PRIOR ! The tech nor anyone said anything about the oil being drained out nor cared if I was leaving the lot driving the car with no oil or towing it . After requesting to speak to head manager , we’ve gotten the run around and told by Mr. Miller we are just trying to get a “new engine” This has been my worst experience with this company and I’m ashamed to ever had recommended this lot to anyone seeing how they neglect customers and not care about their safety . Anything could’ve happened had I drove that car off the lot with no oil or no knowledge of them draining it out ! More
