Our Buying Experience Our Toyota buying experience. Intrigued by the hugely advertised Toyota 4th of July savings event our family set out to explore options on buying o Our Toyota buying experience. Intrigued by the hugely advertised Toyota 4th of July savings event our family set out to explore options on buying our first Toyota. Web searches provided us with many options near our location. We ended up visiting Pedersen Toyota in Fort Collins, CO. Unfortunately, Pedersen’s was closed to observe the 4th of July holiday. We did take advantage and walk the lot having a look at the available inventory when a gentleman approached identifying himself as a Pedersen employee asking if we needed any assistance. Sam Isaacs explained his presence on his day off as a newly hired salesperson with Pedersen who was in to study inventory and learn lot layout/vehicle locations. This kind of dedication is not seen much these days, let alone on a national holiday. Sam answered all our questions and even went so far as to make calls to upper management to attempt to make the sale that day. I applaud his tenacity and dedication. Being USAA members, we utilized the USAA Car Buying Service. This service put us in contact with several different dealers across Colorado, including the Pedersen Toyota Internet Sales Manager; Jeff Gipson. Jeff reached out to me the morning of the 5th offering his services. I mentioned we had contact with Sam on the 4th and had plans to visit the lot later in the day. We returned to Pedersen Toyota where we met both Sam and Jeff. Both gentlemen were professional and courteous during the entire process. In the end, Sam and Jeff put us in the vehicle of our choice and made the process as smooth as possible. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of your management (Jeff) and the dedication of your younger staff (Sam). To use a cliché; both Jeff and Sam seem to be exemplary employees who are dedication to customer satisfaction, not just the sale. It was their demeanor and attitude that kept us on track to buy our new 2018 Toyota 4Runner with Pedersen all the while being approached by other location via the USAA Car Buying Service. I received an email from Alex Vuko a These guys really know how to waste your time. I was referred here by a kbb instant cash offer for an inspection. I received an email from Alex Vuko asking to set up at time to get the inspection done and get the offer. He said not to waste anyone’s time what I was looking to get for the car, I said $1200-1500. In his reply he said that seemed reasonable and to bring the car in. Once I got the car over there and they did the inspection, Alex came back with an offer of “$100 to take it off your hands” his reasoning being the car, a Saab is no longer made which makes parts more expensive and there is no demand for them. That is understandable but is all information he had before bringing me in and saying that $1200-1500 sounded reasonable. Big waste of time. Will never consider doing any business with them again!
