My 2009 Nissan Altima was towed to Pedder Nissan because it would not go forward, accelerate or reverse in gear. A diagnostic service would be the best procedure to pinpoint most problematic cases. A new tr it would not go forward, accelerate or reverse in gear. A diagnostic service would be the best procedure to pinpoint most problematic cases. A new transmission was required because the original was destroyed. To replace parts, labor and services the totale would cost $6,790, plus other issues totaling $9,000. Keep in hind, the car is only valued at about $4000 running in good condition. Nissan explained that they would purchase the vehicle at $400 and I would not have to worry about towing or scrapping the vehicle. I told the technician, let me ask my wife, on what she would like to do. The next day I received a call and explained that we would accept $400. The advisor changed the offer from $400 to $300. I told him how unprofessional it was to change the offer I had within our text messages. I also ask, how is this being loyal to your customer? He explained that’s the managers final offer. So Aamco towed and ran another diagnostic for free. Same issue transmission needed to be totally replaced. Now for labor, parts and services, they charged $4,600. I told them, you have my business, replace the transmission and we’ll discuss the others as we go. Moral of this story, treat each customer as if it’s your last and only customer. If the business doesn’t care, only try’s to beat, cheat and charge astronomical prices, then we’ll (customers) will go someplace else. Sincerely Little Red Nissan Altima More
