Pearson Toyota responded

While performing the dash recall the radio did stop working. Pearson Toyota replaced it at no charge to the customer because the owners are good customers. When we were replacing the radio, the lights in the heater control panel stopped working. Both of these componets are parts that are unpluged and pluged in only. Pearson also replaced this part at no cost to the owner for the same reason. We apologized and even offered to pick the vehicle up at the owners residence and return it at no expense to the customer. Vehicles with 90,000 plus miles do encounter mechanical and electronic failures. We realize that and try to do everything we can to help our customers. Unfortunately failures do occur and we do not intend to inconvenience anyone. When something like this occurs we do everything we can to make it right. In this case we performed several hundreds of dollars worth of repairs at no expense to a good customer trying to help in a situation that neither of us caused. We appreciate our customer working with us and communicating with us to allow Pearson Toyota a chance to resolve a unusual situation.
