Worse overall experience ever!!!! Purchased a brand new 2014 Santa fe Sport in April 2014 but got more than just a vehicle. A week and half after purchasing the vehicle we found a dead Purchased a brand new 2014 Santa fe Sport in April 2014 but got more than just a vehicle. A week and half after purchasing the vehicle we found a dead mouse in part of the body that has to be removed when installing the custom Santa fe side steps. We initially couldn't see how the mouse got in. Then 3 weeks later, I had found a hole in the insulation when opening the driver side door. That was how the mouse had gotten in, I called my sales person and arrangements were made to fix it. Let me move to the horrible facts in why I am giving Pearson Hyundai a negative review, call it coincidence or whatever you want but in hindsight my son had remained sick month after month of owning the Santa fe. I had parked under a tree one day and my husband decided to check my engine air filter to make sure it didn't get clogged due to the tree debris, to find half of my engine air filter missing. This find came after owning the Santa fe for 5 months, in which the dealership had 3 opportunities to catch this and did not. The service department checked off that they had checked the air filter but the appearance of the air filter compartment showed otherwise, debris was caked into the top. Please keep in mind, the mouse that was found dead was removed a week and a half after buying the vehicle. So, there would be no reason for half the filter to be missing in the engine and worst of all the air cabin compartment and filter were full of debris, mouse urine, and mouse feces. So, again I called the dealer and asked for new filters, in which my husband installed. I would not let the service department touch the car due to the obvious neglect. Took my son to the allergist and the doctor said that his concurrent illness was definitely related to the inhalation of mouse urine and feces for 5 months. The doctor also said that he could not go back into the vehicle and no matter how much the dealership said that they could clean out the a/c duct system they could never get rid of all the particles throughout the vehicle. Due to the doctors strong recommendation we asked Pearson Hyundai for a new vehicle and they would not work with us. My son's well-being is my priority but I want to mention that during the time my son was sick I too developed bronchitis and had a miscarriage. Again, I do realized my situation may be coincidence but my son's health was not, his persistent illness began after getting the vehicle and stopped after getting rid of it. Prior to purchasing the vehicle it had been parked in a field. When we had purchased the vehicle we thought the new leather smell was a bit intense but coming to find out what we were smelling was mouse urine. One last thing I would like to mention is that we live in a rural area plus the vehicle was garage parked. Yet, Pearson Hyundai refused to work with us because we can't prove that it was their fault. So, we not only had to look elsewhere to get rid of the vehicle but we had to pay to get out of it. Worse experience ever! We notified Hyundai Corp and they gave us the impression that Pearson Hyundai would work us in getting a new uncontaminated vehicle that would not affect my family's health but Pearson Hyundai would not give us a new vehicle even with doctors strong recommendation. I can't believe Hyundai would want this kind of representation. More

Bought four cars at Pearson and found both sales and service excellent every time! Have to wonder about the other reviews because other customers I chatted with all love Pearson, even the people who b service excellent every time! I bought a 2012 Elantra in Feb 2012 from Pearson Hyundai. The sales person failed to inform me that the car does not come with a spare tire or jack. I had to learn the hard way. What should have been a 15 The sales person failed to inform me that the car does not come with a spare tire or jack. I had to learn the hard way. What should have been a 15 min tire change turned into a 4 hour nightmare. If the sales person had informed me at the time of purchase that there was no spare/jack, I would NOT have purchased the vehicle. Hyundai roadside assistance towed my car to Pearson Hyundai because the tire could not be repaired. When the service dept called me they advised that to get the same type of tire I would have to wait 1 day because they did not have it in stock. They offered me their inhouse tire at a cost of $129 for the tire and to have them put it on. I complained to the sales manager and he said he would try to get the the tire changing kit that Hyundai offers at manufacturers cost. Two days later I get a email stating that the kit sells for $289 and he could sell it to me for $199. From speaking to other sales people while waiting to talk to the sales manager they quoted a price of $250 for the kit. I feel deceieved by Pearson Hyundai .. I will never purchase from them again. Here we were treated with respect and got a fair price for the vehicle. We shopped other dealerships before buying at this one. Our salesman went above and beyond our expectations by thoroughly going over every square inch of the car inside and out with us. He was patient and kind and answered all our questions with respect. He left us his cell number if ever we had any questions about anything on the vehicle. The new Santa Fe is just awesome in every way. So, if you want a delightful car buying experience, go see Skip at Pearson Hyundai and you will come away fully satisfied. More
