I first went to another Ford dealership that alienated me because they lied to me. Even though that dealership had the exact car I was looking for, they didn't get my business because I didn't feel respected because they lied to me. I had the complete opposite experience and Pearson Ford with Internet Sales/Business Manager Michael Berg. I first made contact with MIchael by email. He guided me through the process of custom ordering the car I wanted. (a C-Max Hybrid) he told me it would take 6 weeks to get the car in, and it took 6 week exactly. The car was ready to go when he said it would be. He matched the best financing that i could find on the web,and he made the process as painless as it could be. Regarding the price of the car, I should note that I purchased this vehicle through the Ford Employee "A-Plan", so I didn't have to negotiate the price. I will say that I have heard from some other people that in some dealerships A-Plan customers are treated like second class citizens. I certainly did not feel like I was treated as a second-class citizen at Pearson Ford. More
Purchased My 2013 Ford F-150 Lariat through Adam. I had used Truecar.com for my research. Adam was the only sales person to actively search and find the car to my specifications. Price we did not mess around because he was spot on for what I was willing to pay. Between Adam and Truecar.com I spent no time playing dealership games with managment. The longest I was in the dealership was to sign purchase agreement which took about an hour. I spent my most time be helped by the staff on how to use all my options on the truck. This was, without a doubt, the most "painless" car-buying experience my wife and I have ever had. There was ZERO pressure from the start. We were treated with the utmost in respect across multiple visits and a few phone calls. Never once were we asked, "Where do you need your payment to be?" THAT'S a first! Never once did we feel as if our arms were being twisted. THAT's another first! Management, sales and finance all worked tightly in concert to make sure this was a decision we could feel great about, and we do.
