Don't buy from Peak Probably never will drive another BMW Thanks to Peak. After 3 years of dealing with an ever changing service dept., my wife and I picked up our 5 series BMW From service center and drove straight to Lexus and traded it in for new vehicle We loved our vehicle and purchased the extended warranty for additional $3000 (Bumber to Bumber) Ha need it to change oil is $600, tires are like $500 Brake job 3000 to 4000 People over there are extremely incompetent, every time I brought it in They tried to charge me and had to remind them of my warranty (3yrs) Once I had it towed in and they lost my car on the lot for 3DAYS. The final straw came when I brought my car in because Tire light came on They already changed seal on oil pan twice and my wife had to add a qt of oil last month, brakes made horrible noise and warranty runs out Nov 10 next month They told me brakes were not scheduled for change yet, needed to replace all 4 tires $2300, bushings needed to be changed and brake pads had to be cut down BUTTT none of it was covered under warranty that he forgot to xx I had and then charged me $135 for diognostics. I told him not to touch that I was picking it up and going trade it in. Then I asked to talk to GM but he asked if I met his Mngr I told him no I wanted to talk to GM He got nervous and left then came back with his managers card who conviently was not there. Even after telling him I wanted the GM Save yourself time and peace of mind Go to Brian Harris BMW in BR if you need one that bad or better yet bu any other car More

We had to pay over $1300 to have them fix our vehicle because it would not start. They initially said that it was the starter but then switched to saying it was a sensor that "was bad." After 3 weeks of driving the car barely starting each time, the car finally stopped starting again. When we brought it in a second time, the lady told us that it was the starter this time and that we would owe $1100 more but that they can work with us on the payment. They had no explanation as to why the starter was the problem because you cannot test the starter to see if it was causing the problem all along. They still made us pay another $700 to have car fixed for a second time in less than a month. So we ended up paying over $2,000 on a 2007 vehicle with 92,000 miles on it just to get the vehicle starting again. After discussing this with other mechanics, they all agreed that it sounded like the starter was always the problem and that they were wrong guessing that the starter was "ok" from the get go. They do not admit to their mistakes in diagnosing problems and didn't help us at all with the payment the second time around because they didn't fix our problem from the very beginning. They said we had two problems but we didnt. We had one problem- the car not starting...and this wasn't fixed after we left the first time even though they said it was. More
The worst car dealer experience ever Peake BMW is the main reason that I will never own another BMW. The service crew would bicker with each other in front of the customers. I was told th Peake BMW is the main reason that I will never own another BMW. The service crew would bicker with each other in front of the customers. I was told that I would have to pay $35.00 a day for a rental car from enterprise because my 2008 x5 with 65,000 miles is out of warranty. They feel that it is ok to take my money for an expensive repair and not provide a loaner vehicle. This dealership does not offer any perks for its customers; and treats its customers as if they should be lucky they are allowed into the building. The quality and customer service at this dealership are both below acceptable levels. Save your sanity and never visit this place. More
It was a huge headache! I took my vehicle for an appraisal at Peake BMW. It was appraised for $23000. I turned over my title and signed purchase order for a 2015 bmw 228i. I took my vehicle for an appraisal at Peake BMW. It was appraised for $23000. I turned over my title and signed purchase order for a 2015 bmw 228i. A week later, the dealer contacted me and said it missed the hail damage during the appraisal and wanted me to pay for the difference of $3500. The sale manager told me since my vehicle was on order, they can go back and re-negotiate the deal. Did this happen to anyone? More
Horrible Overall Peake Experience Purchased my X5 in 2008 as my dream vehicle. While the car 2as under warranty my service experience was great. HOWEVER, after the warranty my service Purchased my X5 in 2008 as my dream vehicle. While the car 2as under warranty my service experience was great. HOWEVER, after the warranty my service experience plummeted. Peake had a wholesal change of service advisors and the experiences got worse. I began having my vehicle serviced at an independent BMW shop a d was pleased with the experience. However, recently i neededwork performed that was best done by an authorized dealership such as Pe ake. I had anticipated about $5k of repairs and reluctantly was willing to have Peake do the work. My service advisor, Richard Enright (service salesman) performed a cursory walk around and stated he could clean my headlights for $250.00 in addition to the scheduled work. I declined and Richard began to treat me like an alien invader instead of a customer. I allowed them to perform the overall vehicle check ($150.00) and authorized about $600.00 of the planned $5K of repairs. With their assessment, I took my X5 to another foreighn car repair shop and was pleasantly surprised by their work. I spoke with tbe owner and he stated thathe gets about 50% of his business from disgruntled peake customers. Also, I asked the Peake team for the customary survey on two separate occassions and have notreceived it yet. PEake wants your money but doesn, t care about how you feel about yourservice experience. I brought my car to Peake BMW for scheduled maintenance. This was my very 1st time at Peake's Service Dept. Richare Enright the Service Adivsor was satisfactory in checking my car in. They gave me a ride ho This was my very 1st time at Peake's Service Dept. Richare Enright the Service Adivsor was satisfactory in checking my car in. They gave me a ride home. I used my other vehicle to go to work. Richard called me at 11:40 am informing me that my car was ready. He said it was lunchtime so it would be 30-45 minutes before someone would be at my home to pick me up. I left my job and headed home. I got there at 12:10 pm. At 1:00 pm I called Peake BMW to see how much longer it would be. I was told that no one had given any information about picking me up and the courtesy shuttle had been sent to New Orleans East and could pick me up on his way back, but that would be awhile. They put me on hold and came back to offer having someone else come to get me in a loaner car in 20 minutes. I said that was fine. 10 min later the driver who was in New Orleans East called me saying that he could pick me up on his way back. I informed him that someone was on the way. 35 minutes later I was still waiting! I called the New Orleans East shuttle driver to tell him YES, PLEASE COME TO PICK ME UP. 35 minutes had passed from the time Peake told me someone was one the way, and no one had come. Peake BMW is 15-20 minutes from my home by car. 10 minutes later, the driver who was supposed to be there 25 minutes before, called to say he didn't know how to get to my house. I gave him instructions and he came 8 minutes later. I got to the Dealership about 2:10 pm. Richard Enright hurried me in to sign for the car, while he went to get it. After signing I waited where in the service area. No one told me exactly where they would bring the car. While I waited two service people did ask if I was being helped. 5 minutes later, I saw Enright driving the car out behind the service dept. I went out to get in the car. Enright removed the paper from the floor of the car and told me "the keys are in it." I said Thank You and drove off. I am highly incensed that after wasting more than 2 hours of my time, NO ONE AT PEAKE BMW OFFERED ME AN APOLOGY! I missed the 2:00 appt. I had with a client at my job. If I had any inclination that the service would have been this bad, I could easily and would have had someone bring me to the dealership to pick up my car. This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with any service department. SUPERIOR HONDA, my hats off to you for providing me with the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE over the 12 years that I drove Honda cars. PEAKE BMW - go to xxxx! More
My first encounter with Peake BMW - July 27th, 2012, a rear tire blew on my 2008 BMW 335i and I had the car towed to Peake BMW to replace the tire and the rim. They did a fine job replacing the tire and e rear tire blew on my 2008 BMW 335i and I had the car towed to Peake BMW to replace the tire and the rim. They did a fine job replacing the tire and expediting shipment of a rim from California after a rim they received locally to replace mine was scratched. On August 10th (two and a half months later) the other rear tire blew, thankfully in front of my house. When my husband removed the blown tire he noticed the inner edge of the tire was worn through to wires. He was concerned that we were not made aware of the severe wear on this tire at the time the other was replaced. He and I expect that a dealership of that caliber would provide the type of service expected from BMW owners who are not driveway mechanics and who take their vehicles to be repaired to the dealership for routine as well as emergent maintenance. When my husband dropped off the tire and stated his dissatisfaction, the service rep had little to say other than they would take a look at the blown tire. Upon picking up the new tire the next day there was no rep to speak with him, no assistance in our concerns, and a general lack of concern over the issue as a whole. It is unfortunate that we will now be searching for a dealership with our safety in mind. More

I had recently lost my BMW key and went to go order a new one from Peake BMW in Kenner, Louisiana. The key did not work so they ordered a second one. The second one did not work so they ordered a third one. one from Peake BMW in Kenner, Louisiana. The key did not work so they ordered a second one. The second one did not work so they ordered a third one. Now they are saying that it is the control panel that has to be switched out. BUT if i found my lost keys then it would work with my current control panel. So peake bmw is making me pay $1053 for a new control panel that comes with new keys AND to top it off they won't reimburse me for the new keys that I just paid for!! How does it make it any sense to not refund me for a set of keys that doesn't work and making me pay for a whole new control panel plus new keys. Isn't it their job to make my key work? Also, they won't explain to me why my new key won't work with my current control panel, they just said "we don't know". I don't mind paying money for service received, but they didn't do anything for me! They basically just charged me for a key that doesn't work and making me pay for a new set of keys with control panel without any explanations b/c they simply do not know what the cause is.. My sister has a 6 series and they wanted to overcharge her so she took it to the one Baton Rouge instead. I took mine to Houston BMW and the service was excellent, but the one in Kenner always want to charge me for something more. I don't understand this. I would never ever go to Peake BMW because their service is horrible but considering I lost my keys, I had no choice but to tow it there AND of course there would be trouble. I love my bmw car but never would i recommend peake bmw as the dealership to buy your car, please take my advice and DO NOT go there. My friends had many complaints with this place as well! More
