Too busy to return calls. I'm trying to get info on a $71K X5, before I drive two hours to the dealership. I can't get these guys to call me back. Then, over the next three days, I spoke to Johnathan twice who was too busy to talk but assured me he'd call back. I'm still waiting!! If I'm trying to throw $$$ at these people and they're too busy to talk to me, I have to wonder about what happens when I might need service. More

I was charged $410 for a run flat tire that turns out I could have ordered online or from a local shop for $176. No joke - the EXACT SAME TIRE! On top of paying more than double what the tire is worth they charged an additional $130 for "mounting & tire disposal fee". That's a $540 total service department screw your day up special. I feel like such a fool for letting them do this to me. The experience of buying a car here is also a major disappointment from my trade in value to depreciation of my current car. I was duped. Beware of this dealer! More
Service Department is a disgrace Have owned 700 series since 2001. each one was purchased new. Still under warranty, but they could not diagnose a problem. After warranty expired they said that there is a problem. they changed the fuel pump, and a bunch of other stuff worth about $1,700 in bills. Problem persists. Finally after three trips and i am more than $2000 lighter, they decide it must be the fuel filter. Duh! Another $700 later it was fixed by changing the filter. wonder if this is scam because the service agents get a percentage of the take in commissions? At times I took the car to the Mobile dealer, who is always courteous, and things get fixed the first time. i have another friend who takes his car to Baton Rouge. In any case, even though I loved my BMWs, I am a Lexus man now (again) and their service is absolutely fantastic. Mr Peak and his service department is a disgrace to Luxury autom0biles. More
Unbelievably horrible! Scheduled apt for 2006 550i BMW because it was missing, leaking oil and check engine light was on. 1st svc day, 10-6-15(Tues), 8:30am, Svc Advisor-Kai Scheduled apt for 2006 550i BMW because it was missing, leaking oil and check engine light was on. 1st svc day, 10-6-15(Tues), 8:30am, Svc Advisor-Kaitlyn Dauzat. Was cld later with diagnostic/cost, Ok'd chgs. 10-7-15(Wed), no call. 10-8-15(Thurs) was cld, car ready for pickup. 10-10-15(Sun) car still leaking & check engine light on. 2nd scheduled svc apt, 10-13-15(Wed), I asked for rental. Was called later with add'l chgs/less discount given. Ok'd chgs. 10-15-15(Thurs)-no call, 10-16-15(Fri)-no call, 10-17-159(Sat).-no call, 10-19-15(Mon)@3pm, I call Katilyn for status. was adv'd everything working, just need to let it run awhile to burn off excess oil & she will call me later for pickup. 10-20-15(Tues)-no call, 10-21-15(Wed)-no call. At 10:30am, I cld & left voicemail for Svc Mgr, Chuck Skaggs to call me with info about my car. He never called. Later that day Kaitlyn cld @ 2:41pm & said car ready for pickup. Went to pick up car, Kaitlyn didn't acknowledge me when I got there. I went to cashier to pay and had to ask the cashier to come check rental car. My car was dirty in and out, with greasy hand prints all over it. My car had over a half tank of gas when I brought it in. I, didn't realize it was almost empty until I was on my way home. At this point I'm very upset. When I got home, my husband realized the hood wasn't even closed properly! I call Kaitlyn any told her how I felt. It was as if she could careless. The only thing she acknowledged was the guys are responsible for cleaning you car. Sunday,11-1-15, check engine light, AGAIN! Called for another apt, requested new Svc Advisor and to speak with Chuck Skaggs. 3rd svc day, 11-4-15 (Wed), 8:45am. Upon arrival I was told by Kaitlyn she's the one that's familiar with my problem so she will be the one to continue to handling my problem. I was given a loaner car. Kaitlyn was in and out of Chuck Skaggs office, but he never came out to talk with me or reassure me that he will make sure my problem would be resolved. Thursday, 11-5-15 through Saturday, 11-14-15, I did not receive one call from anyone. Monday, 11-16-15, Kaitlyn call & advise car ready for pickup. I returned loaner and picked up my car...no chg. Again, my car didn't have any gas and was not clean, just half wiped down. I had to go back in and tell Kaitlyn I needed gas put in my car. When we got home, my husband had to undo a screw under the hood and redo it because, again it wasn't closing properly. It makes me wonder if anything at all was done. It probably just sat there until the light stop coming on. Monday, 12-14-15 AGAIN... check engine light on! I didn't want to bring car in again, so at 11am I called Chuck Skaggs to ask what were the findings for the engine light. I just wanted to know if I could continue driving the car with the light on or if it needed to be serviced... AGAIN. Mr Skaggs was at lunch, I left a detailed voicemail message for him. Today is Tuesday, 12-22-15 and I'm still waiting for his call. Being offered something to drink is nice, but I would much rather have my car fixed right the first time. The age of the car shouldn't matter, especially when it's always been brought into a BMW dealership with certified technicians. So much for your commitment to excellence, highly qualified technicians and providing exceptional service in a timely manner... or does that only apply to sales?? Only received survey after 1st visit. Never received any others. I guest if you all don't get it right the first time, no one needs to know about the second or third time. II don't know what happen to your service team. It used to be a really great team. You guys in the service department gives Peake BMW a bad name. Such a disappointment! More
the dealership from xxxx this is an update to a complaint a post or rating from November 11th 2015 I took my bmw x5 into BMW to have diagnostic testing I don't believe they this is an update to a complaint a post or rating from November 11th 2015 I took my bmw x5 into BMW to have diagnostic testing I don't believe they touch my truck at all when I bought it there I stated that I'm getting my brakes or the oil that needed to be changed or check for leak maybe I was told at the end of diagonal at end of testing that I was told that nothing was wrong with my car except I need it for new tires well this is as I said an update to the performer rating I really want to have something good to say about it but I dont i bmw cut my car for about 4 days starting with Thanksgiving babe of the day before Thanksgiving and had my car about 4 days and I picked it up with a long list of problems which I believe is out it from BMW not checking my car for an oil leak and I had bought it there's several times for that reason and it wasn't it simply wasn't check I have since contact the Better Business Bureau and an attorney and I intend to pursue legal court and intend to pursue a legal case against them regarding negligence as far as my vehicle is concerned I hope Crisco she was my service advisor he heard my car making a bad sound as its at waiting to be serviced and he said to me oh that your car yet does sound bad he didn't told me after the testing was done that they drove my car around they did not find anything and I believe they did not find anything wrong with it because they never diagnosed it they simply took my money as I stated in my earlier review I really really really wanted to have something good to say about this dealership and my whole experience I take my car to BMW to Peake BMW every time that's why I know it was some kind of negligence on their part and why I'm having to pay $7,000 for repairs because I told him something was wrong I had an oil leak I was told I needed an oil change only once a year but three months after I got a oil change I needed more oil and common sense should have told them why you asked why and do an inspection none Was done!!! EEK BMW very unprofessional very incompetent m after this latest fiasco with them I will be now taking my car to Baton Rouge or some other form Import Specialist I'm very very disappointed in Peake BMW I really they really give BMW a bad name I own two BMWs and I will never get anything done I would not even want them washing my car the last time I had service its looked like they dump a bucket of dirt on the front of it like they just sprayed the top of it with the hose in all the dirt ran down and that's the way they left it I am very disappointed with Peake BMW and I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I have tweeted about this they don't read these reviews because they don't care it's all about the mighty dollar I like to add race is un important with anything to me I love all people but I don't feel I got the same love from BMW I am a black professional woman and I don't know if its a stereotype that black people don't care about their cars or I'm a woman so yeah let's take advantage charge her through the nose this is terrible I hope this review helps any and everyone who's looking forward to buying a car or having service done at Bmw peak BMW should be EEK BMW in Metairie Thank you guys have a good day. paid a service charge for lip service! WHAT!!!! I do not think my car was inspected at all in fact if it was the engine cover was left loose that was the only noticeable difference I called chris to let him know that the inspection missed the fact that I had no oil it took all day to get him by phone I left umteen messages he never returned my calls I had to accidentally catch him because he was standing nearby when I called for him so the person got his attention he didn't even apologize for the fact that I had just left there and they simply took my money sent me away for my engine to burn out now 11/21/2015 my car is overheating and making a noise like it's idled really high it's very loud you can hear it around the corner I'm calling to make a service appointment and the phone is constantly busy or forwarded to some unknown # More

I make an appointment to have my Used BMW looked at because the Satellite Radio is not working. I drive into the driveway at 7:50 AM (with an appointment at 7:45am, so I assume people are at work and ready to receive customers). Nobody is outside to greet me. I walk into the service department and there are about 8 people with every service desk occupied. NOBODY says a word to me. I wait a couple of minutes for a young girl to come back from getting her morning coffee to check me in. The check in area is literarily 5 feet away from the service representatives (so why do you need someone that is 5 feet away from were you will end up anyway. A waste of time and money. I guess thats why they have to charge so much for their lack of service) I sit down with the representative (that by the way I saw 5 days earlier and she didn't even recognize me) Her attitude is like I really don't want to be here and I could care less if I do anything for you today. I ask how long will it take for them to look at my car because I would like to wait on it. Well at first she hesitates and says I really don't know. I press for more information and then she says well I will check with the technician. She gets up goes in the back. She returns and states that it could be all day and that the technician will have to look all over the car to find whats wrong and that it will be $270 to JUST LOOK AT MY CAR? That is outrageous! So I leave and the rep. says ok see you later (I don't know where she learned her service skills, but if you want to retain customers you would at least say I am sorry and is there anything else we could do to work this out) Well later that day I go to BestBuy to have them to look at my problem. Not only did they not charge me anything, they found the area where the radio is located (back drivers side in trunk. I took about 2 minutes to find everything we needed to assess my situation and EVERYTHING IS RIGHT THERE, NOT ALL OVER MY CAR) So as you can see charging $270 to find something that the DEALERSHIP should know where it is and telling me it would take several hours to access is REDICULAS! I will never go back to Peake BMW and I will never refer anyone to them! More
Really makes you not want your Beamer. I've had my BMW for 2 years. Purchased it pre-certified from Baton Rouge even though I live in New Orleans just to avoid this dealership. However, who wants to drive an hour one way for basic service: enter peake again. I've brought it to peake for routine service 3 times and each visit has been worse than previous. Issues: - horrid customer service. They tell you vehicle will be ready at a particular time. It rarely is. Difficult to track your agent down. Poor record in retuning phone calls. Etc etc - questionable ethics? I was told car needed xyz service. When I balked at price, agent offered to "work with me". If discounts are available why not offer them upfront. And they should be transparent to all customers. How do I know that the "working with" I'm receiving is equivalent to what others receive. On more than one occasion I was charged for items that were covered under warranty. I had to raise it in order to get them deducted. Really makes me reconsider my ownership of this car. There are other luxury cars in the market one can buy, guys! More
