This is a terrible dealership. My past 3 cars have been Kias. I have not bought any of them from Peak, but have had them serviced there. Last July I took my 2 1/2 year old Tellurid My past 3 cars have been Kias. I have not bought any of them from Peak, but have had them serviced there. Last July I took my 2 1/2 year old Telluride (with only 12,000 miles and a perfect exterior finish) in for routine service. They asked to keep it overnight. I agreed only if they promised to keep it inside as a storm was incoming. They promised they would. I went the next day to pick up the car. The service agent was very apologetic, but they did not get the car inside in time. The entire exterior was completely pockmarked with hail damage. My insurance covered all but $1,000 of the damage. I wrote a letter, multiple emails, and multiple phone calls. No one from the dealership even returned a call or replied in any way. I called Kia North America. They said that they contacted the dealer, but some of them are just too arrogant to respond to complaints. My latest Kia purchase was a 2024 Sorento this past February. Needless to say I did not buy at Peak, and would have encouraged others to do the same. More
The service department has been a nightmare to deal with. I traded in my car and as part of the trade the dealership agreed to fix some paint scratches and a leaking cv joint on the Kia that I purchased. I traded in my car and as part of the trade the dealership agreed to fix some paint scratches and a leaking cv joint on the Kia that I purchased. I scheduled this repair work for a Monday, since that is the only day they have someone who does paint. The service representative messaged me during the day saying that they had all the parts in stock and my car would be ready by 4. Then I didn’t hear from her again. When I checked in with her at 4 she said I was welcome to come pick up my car, but it hadn’t been fixed. They didn’t actually have the parts they needed, and their paint guy was actually on vacation. So, they had my car all day and didn’t fix anything. I scheduled again for the following Monday, again to get both repairs done, but stated I needed to have a loaner car that day (so I can work). I spoke with a manager who assured me she would pull some keys over the weekend so there would be a car available for me Monday. I called her on Saturday to check in about the keys but she didn’t answer. Now it’s the following Monday and I’m here again, and they don’t have a loaner car available, as promised. My feedback is that the level of service they provided at peak Kia while trying to sell me a car and get my trade in does not match the level of service I’ve received from the service center. I would not recommend buying from here unless you can be certain not to need the service department. More
We have used Peak Kia for the past 11 years and will continue to use with our new Sorrento. Nick Smith made the process painless. He was extremely pleasant and professional to work with, absolutely no continue to use with our new Sorrento. Nick Smith made the process painless. He was extremely pleasant and professional to work with, absolutely no bantering back and forth. The day we were scheduled to finalize the paperwork was Nick’s day off. Nick came in to see if we had any additional questions. We would highly recommend Nick. Sandy and Dennis Skubal More
I have been taking my 2017 Kia Niro (now on 108K miles) here since it was purchased new and have always received excellent and responsive service. The team is great; very friendly, helpful, and always goin here since it was purchased new and have always received excellent and responsive service. The team is great; very friendly, helpful, and always going that extra bit to make sure my car and I are all set every time. The service waiting room is also really comfy (fireplace, massage chairs, coffee, etc.) with super fast wi-fi, so, I work while I wait and it's better than an office. Thanks! More
DON'T TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT: One star is too much. On October 3, I brought my 2016 Kia Sorento in for two factory recall items. As part of the paperwork on pick up, I received a Multi-Point Inspection On October 3, I brought my 2016 Kia Sorento in for two factory recall items. As part of the paperwork on pick up, I received a Multi-Point Inspection Form. I was told that the front brake linings were at 6mm to sensor, that the rear linings were at 4mm. If I understand it, new brake pads are typically 8-12mm thick. So, you really want to be changing your pads when you have around 3-4mm of friction material left. I was told by Peak Kia that I should have my rear brake linings replaced ASAP. They were not safe. Which is odd, since in June, only 4 months before, I had just replaced all the brake linings on the Kia. I went back to the service center which had done the work, and they confirmed that the brake linings were still almost brand new! Peak Kia gave me bad advice. I was given false information, in the hopes that as a 71 woman, I wouldn't know the difference. Takeaways: I cannot trust Peak Kia's Service Department. I just hope they took care of the factory recall items... I wrote the General Manager, Mike Byerly a letter, but of course received no response. That tells you something right there.... More
Used peak for oil change tire rotation. Got charged for oil change & rotation. Realized later they never rotated the tires. I have coopers on the front & Goodyears on the back so it’s clear they didn’t rotate. Called the service manager but no call back. I have to assume they don’t care and that this might be standard practice. I’d save my money and go to a quick oil change place. Likely you’ll get better service at half the cost. So disappointed in Peak service. More
