I am twenty-three years old. Just about a week ago that day came around when I said to myself "It's time to finance your first car." With this I had a feeling of both excitement but also anxiety I took a s day came around when I said to myself "It's time to finance your first car." With this I had a feeling of both excitement but also anxiety I took a step into the world of car sales, and that lingering feeling of "Am I going to make a good decision?" That goes along with that. Lucky for me, upon discovering Peak Kia, and more importantly their great staff, Joel and Michelle, I found myself smiling, driving happily off of the lot in a new Kia Soul. I first dealt with Joel, who was very easy-going and down-to-earth. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of to the best of his abilities. When Joel told me he had only been with the company for a couple of months, I was shocked. With the way he answered my questions and his confidence, it felt as if he had been with the company for years. Joel was personal, and made sure I was completely sure of everything I was looking into. After Joel was finished with his assistance, I was taken to the finance department, where I worked with Michelle on looking at my down-payment and my monthly rates. Michelle, just like Joel, was very easy to talk to, and when she told us that she loved her job, I truly believed this. She spent a long time working with me to find the best payment plan, not to say she wasn't efficient - she was, but she dedicated herself to my case fully. She made several phone calls and jumped through every hoop she could to make sure I was set up with a plan I could handle. When all was said and done, I shook hands with Michelle and Joel handed me the keys to my '12 Kia Soul. He, in detail, explained every feature of the car, and let me know I was taking off with a full tank of gas, and my first oil change on Kia. On that note, Kia also offers a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty on new cars and this was one of the major selling points for me. No amount of money can buy the security I feel of knowing that I will be safely on the roads for the next ten years. Peak Kia recently moved locations, and the new building was very nice. Bright and inviting, but nothing over-the-top. I am new to the game of financing a car, but with my experience yesterday at Kia, Joel, Michelle and the rest of the Kia family can rest assured that they have made a life-long customer of this first time buyer. -Brice Maiurro More
