Do not understand the question of "Why"; nothing was asked of me as to why anything. MET SHAWN SIMPSON AND TOLD HIM I WAS PRETTY MUCH DECIDED ON AN OPTIMA. HE SHOWED ME AROUND AND I LIKED A RED MODEL THEN HE SUGGESTED I LOOK AT ANOTHER COLOR WHICH WAS A GOOD IDEA AND I BOUGHT IT. Had an excellent experience with Matthew Sandoval. Got to test drive three different Kias, and though Matthew was also busy with other customers, he maintained contact, and answered pertinent questions. My experience with Peak Kia has been very good. The employees are very friendly and helpful; I've chosen to buy 2 new vehicles at this dealership. Fantastic experience. We were using a broker, but were so impressed with Matt that we figured we would see if he could meet or beat the brokers best offer. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Peak Kia in 2 years (and the 2nd time from Matt) and each experience has been wonderful. Matt is very low-pressure salesman and honest. No sleazy car salesman vibe from him! Great experience and would highly recommend him! Matt is what made the experience so easy. More

I went to Peak Kia looking for a used mini van. I was planning on trading in my old vehicle. I had priced the vehicle and had an approximate value for the used vehicle. I knew they had a van like I was planning on trading in my old vehicle. I had priced the vehicle and had an approximate value for the used vehicle. I knew they had a van like I was looking for from their website. The price was in the ballpark of what comparable vehicles were selling for. They let me take the van overnight because I got to Denver late. The next morning, we got around to discussing a deal. Peak Kia offered me 1/3 of the lowest value of my trade in. It almost wasn't worth it. We kept going back and forth on a price. The salesman had to keep going to his manager to talk about the prices. Why do they even bother calling the individual a salesman when he has to go talk to the manager for every little thing. We finally arrived at a deal. It wasn't the best deal but was ok. What frustrated me was that when we were haggling over price, I kept getting told how bad my trade in was and all the work they would have to do and it would just be a money pit for them. While we were finishing the paper work, Ken Roybal (Nick's partner) made a comment that he thought he already had my trade in sold. If it was such a bad vehicle, why could he sell it so quickly? A big double standard. I give the dealership the low rating because before we even got home (150 miles away), the brakes on the van would howl every time I even touched them. I immediately called the dealership and they said to bring it back in. I was not about to go through a 300 mile round trip to deal with this. I finally got through to the service manager (Brett) and he paid a local dealer to fix the brakes correctly. It took several days and lots of phone calls but he finally took care of the problem. I would say it was less than a stellar time and would not go back. More
