DO NOT take your vehicle here for service I brought my Ford Ranger in because of broken coolant hose. I was surprised that the total estimate to replace it was over $600 which included a system flush; that seemed quite high for the work that was described. I decided to just have them do it. After all, Ford will take care of me. I went to pick up the vehicle a couple of days later. After looking at the coolant I am not convinced that the flush was completed. Still, I paid for the repair and my wife drove the truck away. I was fortunate that we were going the same direction. The truck was running so poorly, backfiring, etc., it would have left her stranded on the side of the road had I not been there. I cannot believe that they would return a vehicle to a customer in a non-drivable condition. Though it is not new, the vehicle was running fine apart from the coolant leak when I dropped it off - always has. I limped the vehicle back to the dealer, and waited for a couple of hours for an answer. Apparently no manager is on duty on Saturday afternoon, so they didn't know what the problem was, and nothing could be done anyway without a manager. I had to drive an hour back to my house without the vehicle. They promised to call me on Monday morning with some answers. I waited the whole day and no one called. I called Tuesday morning and got the service manager who had no idea that there was a problem, despite the fact that he still had my truck in his garage. He said he would call me back with some answers, but never did. When I called later in the day and asked for him specifically, I got a tech. It would cost between 300 and 400 dollars to fix a problem that I didn't have before I took it in. I challenged the cost and declined the charge. While I was still talking he hung up on me. I wasn't looking for free service, just good customer service and simple respect. Apparently, neither is a corporate priority. I honestly don't mind paying for work that is done right. Time to take it to an honest, reputable dealer. More
concerned more with cash in hand than sales Made three trips, talked to 4 staff, no new car, "it's hard to get", no communication and a great deal of attention and concern in not returning depos Made three trips, talked to 4 staff, no new car, "it's hard to get", no communication and a great deal of attention and concern in not returning deposit, "If they didn't credit the correct card, they could be out $2,000 dollars",, not so much detail in getting the $36,000 plus Edge in for purchase. "Looks like someone dropped the ball" but "it's hard to get". More
Not very motivated to sell Drove through in early January and inquired with one of the Salesman outside as to when they would be receiving their shipments of 2015 F150 Lariat Su Drove through in early January and inquired with one of the Salesman outside as to when they would be receiving their shipments of 2015 F150 Lariat Supercrews. Salesperson took my information down and advised me they would have inventory the following week. Never received a call or update. Just wanted to make sure that Don Reid know's that they lost a $60k sale to Autonation. More
Best car-buying experience I've ever had! I hate buying cars. The car I just traded in was 17 years old because I hate all the sales tactics dealers employ. I had none of that here. Fred wa I hate buying cars. The car I just traded in was 17 years old because I hate all the sales tactics dealers employ. I had none of that here. Fred was a great salesperson! I told him what I was going to put down and what I was going to pay per month and let me know if he could find something I liked. Well, he found me the perfect Ford Fusion and I am IN LOVE WITH IT!!! I could not be more pleased. It was hassle-free. This was best car-buying experience I've ever had. I definitely recommend Fred and Don Reid Ford. More

Don't waste your time Customer service is non existent so it's hard for me to rate this business. Several emails and phone calls to get pricing and availability on vehicles Customer service is non existent so it's hard for me to rate this business. Several emails and phone calls to get pricing and availability on vehicles I need to buy and still no response over a month time frame. Finally I call the owner/president, had to leave a message, his assistant calls me back 2 days later with updates on nothing I asked about in my message, I asked for a call back and no one has called, not even a salesman. Windshill wipers for Ford focus 2012 I bought my 2012 Ford focus and may add Don Reed Ford. They have to service the car for 2 1/2 days before I could actually pick the car up. I asked I bought my 2012 Ford focus and may add Don Reed Ford. They have to service the car for 2 1/2 days before I could actually pick the car up. I asked for history on the car as what they had done to it and when I got it it showed they had changed their windshield wipers. But I had told the service manager that the Windshill wipers still made a lot of noise and scratching the ones he informed me that they do not lie to their customers that they were changed. On July 31 I took my car in to have the transmission broke down letting the service writer noted the Windshill wipers still were not working right. He called me back to inform me that the Windshill wipers were worn out so that is telling me that the service manager did lie to me and they were never changed and they put a false report on the history of the car. Best car buying experience Am going to talk very good about Don Reid ford and no am not associated to anything or anyone at Don Reid ford. I'll try to make the long story short Am going to talk very good about Don Reid ford and no am not associated to anything or anyone at Don Reid ford. I'll try to make the long story short but many times we are quick to complaint and often not we give credit when credit is due. On Labor Day weekend I decided to tray in my Ford Escape simply because I was been charge 30% interest rate because of my bad credit. Aug the 30th I got up and went to the dealer of choice and I promised my self that I would not be in any of this dealers for to long. I knew that my credit was still not that good, I had no money to put down and so this would be challenging. I was determine that I would leave with a car that day because of the 30% interest rate I was been charge with my current car. Like most dealers I felt the sales man were not really concerned with my well been and all they wanted was to make quick buck. On that day I went to a total of six dealers and will say not all were bad. One was bad but could not closed the deal. That day I was very frustrated and when it was all said and done I felt defeated. The next day (Sun) I woke up and said to my self to give it one last try but on the internet because I was not going to go through what I went trough the previous day. I filled out an application on line the went off to a bunch of dealers and as a result got many calls but none felt right. Then Dennis from Don Reid Ford call me and said this words to me. Mr. Leyva my name is Dennis am calling from Don Reid. Sir I have you approved for a car at a 13% interest rate if you like you can come down here and pick a used car that you like. I ask him are you sure cause I don't want to go there and then for you to tell me something else. He said come pick a car take it home drive it till Tue when my boss man gets here and if you like it we close the deal. That got my attention and I went there to check things out. When I got there he listened to what I wanted not what he wanted to sell me and that made me feel good again about the buying experience. My wife and I did like the used cars they had but the ones we wanted just seemed not to workout for us for some reason or another but mainly because we wanted something specific . We left home to think about witch of this used car could be a good fit for us. On Tue Dennis calls me and asked me if w had decided on anything and I told him yes. I said to him we want a 2014 Fusion, white with black interior. He responded by saying good let me talk to my boss and see what we can do to help you get into this car. Almost two hours later he calls and said it's done when would you like to come pick up your car. I was so excited that I did not pay to much attention to the other things he had said like we got you prime interest rate. Went I went there I was thinking that my interest rate was going to be in the 13% range. When I sit down and he show me a 3.9% I could not believe it. I owed $7500 for my trade in an$7300 while the others were only offering me $5,000. I was also thinking my new car was going to be the base model and he had an SE model ready to go for me. From the get go he was honest and listened/pay close attention to what we wanted. I can go on and on about this guys at Don Reid. Go see Dennis you will not regret it. He will not BS you and will tell you the truth and not waist your time. More
Poor customer service We wanted to drop off our car for scheduled service. Although we were able to make an appointment for the service, we could not drop if off early. T We wanted to drop off our car for scheduled service. Although we were able to make an appointment for the service, we could not drop if off early. This doesn't meet the needs of working folks. Fantastic Fred and our '14 Ford Focus! This was our second sale with Don Reid Ford and it was four years from when we made our first purchase of a 2005 Ford 500. In 2010 I was referred by a friend to a specific salesperson - Fred Berliner. He's been with Don Reid Ford almost as long as I've been married (29 yrs!). Very rare for a sales person to stay with one dealership so long but Fred is a rare and remarkable person! Just like four years ago Fred welcomed us and guided us to the best deal. He embodies a very successful balance of professional and friendly. He's incredibly knowledgeable and is excellent at conveying the many aspects of a car purchase or lease in understandable terms. Additionally, Fred was patient with us as we went through every step of the process. We decided to lease this time instead of buy because it was the best way for us to have a new car (2014). We had decided on the Focus (this was our first of this model) and we couldn't be happier with the vehicle and the program. I was especially impressed with how hard Fred worked to see we had a payment that fit our budget. Before we drove off the lot, he did me the favor of syncing my phone to the car and I benefited a bit from his tutorial on all the newer features of the '14 Focus. He has a marvelous way of communicating that gives you a sense of comfort so you feel okay asking him questions (even if they sound dumb to you- lol). There's a lot to be wary of in the purchase or lease of a car but Fred is fantastic and he instills such a feeling of trust that there's no doubt you'll be completely satisfied when you drive off the lot! You can trust him and call him later with more questions! He says he has many return customers; now being one of them it's not hard to see why he does. Thanks again Fred- you're the BEST! :-) I also wanted to mention- as our '05 Ford 500 was maintained at Don Reid Service these past four years- that this department is competent and staffed extremely well. Lyman Keele has been our service adviser (contact) during the last four years and is yet another rare individual who maintains a successful mix of a professional and friendly comportment. He really listens and this helps you feel comfortable. He takes his time with you and offers his thoughts for causes of the problems you state. After the repair or maintenance is complete he's equally willing to explain what was done and you feel confident that your vehicle has received the best care. Lyman, you rock! :-) More
