Was told by other dealerships that I they can't get me financed and wolud need big down payment. Clay worked hard for me and found me a great 2016 focus with awesome warranty and payments right were I needed them. I can't recommend enough Clay and the whole team in the used car department. Definitely will be back for my next car. More
Happy with my car but disappointed with the unkept promises After being treated rudely and harassed by David Flores i dealt with a different salesman and I purchased a beautiful strong running 2014 Ford Taurus After being treated rudely and harassed by David Flores i dealt with a different salesman and I purchased a beautiful strong running 2014 Ford Taurus in June for my gift to me for fathers day. It was starting to storm that evening being that the weather was bad the car didn't get detailed I received it as is. I was told to bring it back because everyone was gone home for the day and when I came back they would detail and fill my car up. I was told to bring it with the light on. I attempted several times to cash in on the salesman promise at which it was never fulfilled. Just attempted again Oct.1st when I took a friend of mine to purchase a car from there as well despite the lies. And yet again was given a lame excuse.. That's sad...!! Now I'm being given the run around for the $200 referral. When will the lies end. JUST KNOW I LOVE MY CAR BUT IM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE UNKEPT PROMISES... More

My own car was totaled in a crash where I was rear-ended by a truck. It was a 2007 MKZ and I wanted the same product, an MKZ. I followed up on about a dozen leads found on the Internet from other dealers only to find that the listed price didn't include their very large dealer fee, or they wanted to suggest a different car. So I kept looking and found the ad from Don Reid and called. The salesman I got is truly. a gem named Captain Dave Rogers, and if you want great treatment ask for him. "Captain Dave" invited me to visit that same day, which is what I wanted. When I got there the listed car was already brought up and waiting out front for me. I knew what I wanted and he had the right vehicle for me. We sat down after the test drive and negotiated a deal with a very fair dealer fee. Captain Dave was very thorough in explaining the documents and helped arrange an auto loan through their finance manager. Everything went smoothly and he made sure the service department took care of a mechanical issue I had noticed. I returned when he told me and everything was exactly as he had promised. I felt Captain Dave and the staff at Don Reid Ford are honest and fair and were focused on providing me the absolute best customer service. I recommend them to my friends and you. . More
Terrance Lee is the guy to talk to! Terrance Lee helped me purchase a beautiful Ford Fusion. He was candid and direct, very helpful and very kind. Everyone else I came into contact with Terrance Lee helped me purchase a beautiful Ford Fusion. He was candid and direct, very helpful and very kind. Everyone else I came into contact with through the sales process was also friendly, but I can't speak highly enough of Terrance. More
The way car buying should be Remember when you would walk into a dealership and not get gouged with excessive dealer fees and hidden fees. Remember when the salesperson was really concerned about your needs were. Well, this is how things are at Don Reid Ford. They sincerely care about your needs and satisfaction. My salesperson was Jack Slater who did and excellent job before and during the sale. I drove down form NY to pick up this Florida owned truck. It was definitely worth the trip. I also dealt with Aubrey Kent, the sales manager as well as judy in finance. Just a great buying experience with a great bunch of folks. I definitely recommend you give them a try for your next purchase new or used. John M--Dade City, FL More

BOTH the other cars are being driven.. This last time I only found out because my daughter was pulled over for a tag not belonging to the car.. They have refused to fix the situation and I now am paying to re-reguster the car so that the tag is legal.. NO ONE from that dealership has called me back in 4 days.. They have hung up on me and not returned messages.. I am so disappointed.. I love my Fords! But this dealership is a huge let down... UPDATE I have now filed complaints with the States Attorneys office and BBB.. And BTW...... They (the dealership) still have not contacted me. More
Poor customer relationship skills in service Lyman Keele in service is the absolute rudest service tech I have ever dealt with in all my years of owning cars. It was so unpleasant I wouldn't buy Lyman Keele in service is the absolute rudest service tech I have ever dealt with in all my years of owning cars. It was so unpleasant I wouldn't buy a car from Don Reid Ford even though I know sales and service are separate. The redeeming factor this day was the way another service tech, Dave Collimore, stepped in to save the visit. People like him must have to save the day a lot here. More

I'm 57 years old and buy a new vehicle just about every 2 years so, I consider myself to be a smart shopper and a good negotiator. My salesman Willie did not go in for the quick close and to my surprise he diligently searched for the truck I wanted and found it in Miami and actually traded a car with the Miami dealership 240 miles away to deliver my desired truck..My experience at car buying is not impulse buying rather, it is based on doing my homework. I did shop and got quotes from 2 other Ford dealers, Greenway and Mullinax and Don Reid's deal was MUCH BETTER and saved me over $2,000.00 from Mullinax and even more compared to Greenway. Friendly service, genuine concern for my desires, and Willie prevailed. Take it from me, if you're looking for a new Ford, go see Willie. As for service, I have yet to have the need so, no comments on this subject. More
DO NOT take your vehicle here for service I brought my Ford Ranger in because of broken coolant hose. I was surprised that the total estimate to replace it was over $600 which included a system flush; that seemed quite high for the work that was described. I decided to just have them do it. After all, Ford will take care of me. I went to pick up the vehicle a couple of days later. After looking at the coolant I am not convinced that the flush was completed. Still, I paid for the repair and my wife drove the truck away. I was fortunate that we were going the same direction. The truck was running so poorly, backfiring, etc., it would have left her stranded on the side of the road had I not been there. I cannot believe that they would return a vehicle to a customer in a non-drivable condition. Though it is not new, the vehicle was running fine apart from the coolant leak when I dropped it off - always has. I limped the vehicle back to the dealer, and waited for a couple of hours for an answer. Apparently no manager is on duty on Saturday afternoon, so they didn't know what the problem was, and nothing could be done anyway without a manager. I had to drive an hour back to my house without the vehicle. They promised to call me on Monday morning with some answers. I waited the whole day and no one called. I called Tuesday morning and got the service manager who had no idea that there was a problem, despite the fact that he still had my truck in his garage. He said he would call me back with some answers, but never did. When I called later in the day and asked for him specifically, I got a tech. It would cost between 300 and 400 dollars to fix a problem that I didn't have before I took it in. I challenged the cost and declined the charge. While I was still talking he hung up on me. I wasn't looking for free service, just good customer service and simple respect. Apparently, neither is a corporate priority. I honestly don't mind paying for work that is done right. Time to take it to an honest, reputable dealer. More
