I purchased a used 2023 Ford Explorer XLT from Payne Mission Volkswagen. The CARFAX showed that the dealership reported an oil and filter change and wiper replacements had been completed before the sale Mission Volkswagen. Shortly after taking possession, the oil-life monitor was still at 73%. The front and rear wipers had not been replaced, the rear wiper was missing and damaged, and the vehicle was delivered dirty with a cracked windshield. Payne did replace the windshield, but they have refused to address the remaining service discrepancies and continue to maintain that the CARFAX-listed work was performed. The registration also took close to 60 days. Payne told us it had already been sent, but near the 60-day mark they ultimately had to send it overnight. The condition of the vehicle did not match several of the services Payne reported as completed before the sale and resolving the remaining issues has required repeated follow-up. I will not do business with this dealership again. I would caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from a dealership that cannot maintain basic quality standards and refuses to take responsibility when problems are brought to their attention. Took it a mechanic, turns out that to get to the part that needed fixed they broke another piece and had to spend another 500 dollars with the new mechanic which he found the problem in half a day. How does a dealership break a customers car while attempting to fix it. This is very dissapointing. More
