But I don't believe that whoever serviced my Jeep actually did the inspection that found all the "critical' items that needed repairing. A couple examples being the transmission filter and front and rear differentials. I had new gears installed 2000 miles ago with fresh fluid added. Since then even changed the filter in the trans and even had a brand new still shiny transmission pan installed. Brakes, sure. But 700 is a lot to charge for a brake job. I can get past that. I am curious though to get someone to show me carbon buildup on the outside of a throttle body. That's a new one for me. As for the reason I took it in. There were 4 open recalls on my Jeep. When I scheduled it I was told that all the parts were there and for my safety it's critical that I bring it in to get repaired. After being at the shop for three days I find out that the clock spring was not in stock and there is no telling when it will be. But the other 3 recalls were taken care of. Maybe I'll die because my airbags don't work. Maybe I'll die on purpose because the alarm won't stop going off. I don't owrry about much. No biggie. One day soon I would really like to get it fixed. But who knows. Maybe we'll run out of gasoline by then. Again Vinnie was super cool. Liked him a lot. He's just dealing with things up there the best he can. More
