I had a heater core problem. Antifreeze all over the cab floor. Peter got my truck in right away and took care of the problem. I was very happy with the fast and great service. I consistantly get excellent service at Paul Masse. The price is fair and they are diligent about keeping the car safe and in good running order. I needed an oil change on my Equinox. I had scheduled a doctors visit in the area and stopped in to see if I could get an oil change. I explained that I work three jobs and dropping it off would be an difficult, and began to leave. He saw that I was not happy and asked me to wait. He explained that if I had some time, he could fit me in. My car was ready, wash and reasonably priced oil change, as well as recall issue, in a couple of hours. I was impressed to see Peter go the extra mile, much as I do in my job as Compliance Officer for dinking water, professor at Salve, and basketball instructor and officiall. Fred Kwolek More
Recently my husband and I purchased two new vehicles from Paul Masse Chevrolet South. Two weeks ago I spent a great deal of time investigating GMC Sierras and the Silverado 2500 HD and had the great pleasure Paul Masse Chevrolet South. Two weeks ago I spent a great deal of time investigating GMC Sierras and the Silverado 2500 HD and had the great pleasure of hearing from Mike at the Wakefield dealership. My husband was an avid GMC Sierra fan but there were none around with his particular requirements. Mike assured me that he would be equally happy with the Silverado. Unfortunately within a couple of days we got cold feet, what with college tuitions and a wedding coming, we never went to see the truck and Mike was extremely pleasant about it. Then we kept looking at the same truck online and realized that since my husband makes his living in his truck we had to "bite the bullet" as the saying goes. I called Mike back and my husband met with him the next morning. Two hours later he had bought the same Silverado we kept looking at online, with a very fair trade-in price for his old one. By Monday they had the racks from the old truck removed and replaced on the new Silverado. Honestly, my husband rarely says a good word about an auto dealership and he was raving! So, we had also been considering trading my Cadillac xxx for an Escalade which I had owned previously. But on the lot was the most beautiful Tahoe and Mike and Glen put together a deal we could not pass up. Bob (Masse) was so impressive in his concern for our time, Cristal put together the paperwork ASAP, Peter in Service was charming, and now I am in a new Chevy Tahoe which far exceeded my expectations! My husband is thrilled with his Silverado and the professionalism of the entire dealership. Not one employee there ignored us including the men who detailed the two vehcles and the service people putting on the rack! Everyone there obviously enjoys their job, is proud of their dealership and made us, the customers, feel like Royalty. To top it all off we are new to Rhode Island and I did not understand the whole emissions/inspection deal so I called that evening to ask about stickers and the young woman who answered the phone answered my queries patiently. She had never met us, but was so polite and found the answers to my concerns immediately. I highly recommend Paul Masse Chevrolet South and look forward to a long relationship with Paul Masse dealerships. More
We bought a truck from them several months ago. Buying the truck, after putting down $12,000 (over half the price of the truck), was still like pulling teeth. Phone calls and emails were/still are left un the truck, after putting down $12,000 (over half the price of the truck), was still like pulling teeth. Phone calls and emails were/still are left unanswered. When we went in there (we actually had to physically go in multiple times just to get answers and see what was going on) they kept telling us they needed more info instead of just getting everything right from the get go. 2 months and $14,000 they still have not registered the vehicle! They have been sitting on that tax and registration check for weeks now and as of today we now will incur a penalty because of their failure to do their job and refusal to answer emails. My guess is they refuse to email back so they do not leave a paper trail. But we have everything documented and are definitely reporting them to the Better Business Bureau! It's ridiculous. Do not go there!!! Worst purchasing experience ever! More
