Not your typical dealer! After dealing with a well known dealer in Bangor with my previous car, I was hesitant and unsure of how buying a new car would go. Paul Blouin Mazda in Augusta went above and beyond anything I expected! Brandon sells cars they old fashioned way, I felt like he was a long time friend more than anything. He was not the typical high pressure sales. He had all the information in my trade. He knew my situation and never promised anything he couldn't deliver. I got the car I wasn't sure I could afford for a very affordable price, my interest rate was cut in over half and the car is in MINT CONDITION. He worked out an amazing deal... He was honest with me throughout the whole process and it took less than 3 hours from start till finish. (Not all day) After contacting several dealers in the area, I felt the most comfortable with Brandon and I'm very glad I chose Paul Blouin Mazda. I didn't get a run around or have to deal with 4 different people. Thank you to Paul Blouin Mazda for everything. My parents were very impressed with how I was treated so they went down and got a new Mazda this week! I highly recommend Brandon O'Clair and the team at Paul Blouins. Thet have earned a life time customer with my family and I will spread the word to everyone I talk to. More
Amazing customer service!!! I was in a situation was far from ideal... I owed $3,800 more than my car was worth. The previous dealership had charged me 17.99% on a throw away car. I went to see Brandon at Paul Blouin Mazda. From the moment I met him, hecwas friendly, professional and had a good sense of humor. He went right to work on getting the right car that would be affordable and get me out of the mess I was in. In less than 3 hours I had a new car with an extended warranty, certified pre owned, low miles and cut my interest in half!!! It was such a stress FREE experience. It was like buying a car from a friend and not a slimy salesperson that just wanted to make a quick buck and I would continue to leave me in this same situation for years and years.... I highly recommend this dealership and Brandon!!! They have a new customer for life! Thank you Brandon! More
Bad Car Buying Experience I recently traded-in my Mazda and purchased a new one here. Was offered a $500 customer loyalty bonus credit, and a $250 Mazda corporate credit, but I recently traded-in my Mazda and purchased a new one here. Was offered a $500 customer loyalty bonus credit, and a $250 Mazda corporate credit, but was disappointed with my offered trade in allowance; which was $9000. Anyway, Mr. Blouin entered the conversation and ostensibly saved the deal. The short of it is he in-turn offered a higher trade-in allowance, which was $11000, if I choose a particular new vehicle I wanted in their inventory of which they had a duplicate color. (BTW that car had a covered small deep paint scratch on the hood) I discovered that too after the rain washed off whatever they put on to cover it. BUT OK fine, I was satisfied with the deal. In the end, Brandon, my salesperson, went ahead and prepared the sales contract. He sneakily, backed-out the 500 and 250 incentives from the contract. Noted, trade-in line as $10500, and noted rebate line as $500 (so he could get that 500 allowance back from Mazda corporate). My actual trade in and credits was a total of $11000 and the $750 in Mazda incentives were purposely deleted from contract by Brandon. I signed and did not notice this until I looked over the contract 24 hours later. When this was brought to Brandon's attention by me, his response was "we weren't making any money on the car" and that "you saved on the sales taxes" A Classic back-peddling line for sure. Brandon was also eager to reiterate all the other "nice things" their dealership had done for me; remove and return my snow tires and roof rack, of which I was very gracious for. I was shorted $750.00 by Paul Blouin Mazda, and they know it. Be careful here, and take extra time to review the deal, make notes and double check. I had a 3-week old baby with me too and was somewhat rushed and distracted. No kidding More
