We were on the road driving from Florida to our home in northern Illinois when an error code flashed on our Traverse display saying the battery was not charging and the car was going into battery saver mod northern Illinois when an error code flashed on our Traverse display saying the battery was not charging and the car was going into battery saver mode. We were driving past Hopkinsville and looked for a Chevy dealer using Google maps and were lucky to find Patriot open on aSaurday morning. The service dept checked the error codes and determined the generator was bad so we had to grab our suitcases and an employee there used his personal car to drive us to a local nearby hotel where we had to hole up for the weekend since they close early on Saturday and not open on Sunday. On Monday, they had the generator replaced and we were on the road again before noon. So kudos to Patriot GMC for great service and treating travelers in trouble so well. We had a great experience, and if we lived in this area, Patriot would be our car dealer. More
