I went to Patrick because I wanted a good deal on a new Subaru and I didn't want to deal with the usual sales techniques that have exhausted me at other dealers. I previously walked away from another Subaru dealer because I didn't want to go back and forth 10 times before I got a reasonable price. At Patrick, I worked with professional people that didn't see me as a number or statistic. They went out of their way to find the car that I wanted and they gave me a good price despite doing that extra work. They also didn't try to make me feel guilty about the price I paid. I've had sales managers at other dealerships come up to me after their final offer and try to guilt me into buying a car. More

I have purchased many cars in the past and worked with many different dealerships. As a business owner, I have sat through many sales training seminars, and am fairly familiar with various sales techniques. Regardless, I still hate the car buying process. I enjoy researching the various models and prices, but dislike the sales process itself, as most people do. During this recent car buying process, I visited 2 other Subaru dealers, and 2 Toyota dealers. As a rule of thumb, I buy into the salesperson first, the dealership second, and the product third (within reason). I was particularly impressed with both Joe’s and Michelle’s knowledge of the product, and ability to read and sell to my personality. While I was very direct about how I like to do business, every other dealer nagged me constantly at home, work and on my cell… and asked me the typical contingent commitment questions…. “What can I do to get you into a car today” or “If I can do this, will you do this…etc…” Patrick Subaru is by no means the closest Subaru dealer to my house. However, the staff at Patrick Subaru made me feel comfortable, answered my questions, contacted me when appropriate, and gave me space to make my decisions. I was always greeted warmly when I visited and observed that others were treated in the same manner. I rarely send an email to commend one who sells me a product. I am happy to send this email to commend the staff at Patrick Subaru. You display a banner that claims “We are here to serve the customer, not the other way around (or something like that).” So far, you have delivered on that value and it is appreciated. I went into the dealership because I thought that I might need new tires but wasn't really sure. The Service Manager went through the whole car and explained to me that I had life left on the tires and coul need new tires but wasn't really sure. The Service Manager went through the whole car and explained to me that I had life left on the tires and could still drive them for another several thousand miles- even though I was fully prepared to buy new tires that day. I had an oil change and they washed the vehicle for me as well. Great experience and highly reccomend this dealership. More

I found the sales people to be straight forward with no sales gimmicks. The atmosphere of the dealership overall was friendly with no high pressure sales tactics. I needed to downsize due to a longer commute. I looked at other cars including the Toyota Rav 4 and found them to be not up to my standards. Some were too small, some too "tin can" like. So Luke set me up with a test drive for both the Outback and the Forester. I was impressed with both vehicles and it was a tough choice. In the end we went with the Forester. I'm getting great milage and I love how smooth and quite the car is. I would definitely send my friends there. Thanks again! More
