It was way too easy! I walked in and was greeted immediately by Heather Cote, a wonderful and personable sales rep. from Patrick Subaru. Knowing already what I wanted, Heather arranged for a test d immediately by Heather Cote, a wonderful and personable sales rep. from Patrick Subaru. Knowing already what I wanted, Heather arranged for a test drive of a 2010 Subaru Outback, manual transmission as I requested. After the test drive, we discussed my trade in vehicle. After a short wait for them to review the car, Jason Patrick came over to report the good news. He also informed me that the automatic transmission in the Outback will provide me with better gas mileage (which was the reason why I requested a manual transmission on the test drive.) but he also said it was more money. For me, I would rather save the money in the long run on gas and having the comfort of an automatic. He informed me that he had an automatic in the same color I wanted. He quoted me a price which included my trade and I was on my way. No annoying sales people calling after the visit like you may expect. I sent an e-mail to Jason letting him know how much I was willing to pay and we worked out the deal. Never requesting me to come back to the dealership to "talk" as other dealer would do. My husband wanted me to check out other prices on the same car but no other quotes came close to Patick Subaru. Some dealers wouldn't even quote me without coming into the dealership! I called them on the phone about 11:00 AM and told them I was purchasing. They had everything ready for me when I arrived the same day about 2:30 PM. I was in and out in about an hour and a half. No Pressure to buy additonal items just the info I needed like when I will get the title, and registration. Heather went over a detailed check list of things I need to know about the car. They transferred the plates and I drove away (after a handshake and a "Thank You" of course!). I have had the car for two weeks now and I have told many people about my experience with Patrick Subaru. I have another Subaru dealer not 15 minutes from where I live but have heard so many negative comments that I decided to give Patrick Subaru a chance. They didn't let me down. It was the easiest time ever buying a car. Thank you Jason and Heather for getting me into another Subaru and for treating me fairly. More
Russel was responsive and helpful in the buying process. Price quoted was the one paid with no suprises. Todd was knowledgable in discussing issue with seating and wife's back issue. An overall positive experience. The sales people were straight forward, not at all pushy, and listened to what I needed/wanted in order to get me into a car that was appropriate for me. The finance depar straight forward, not at all pushy, and listened to what I needed/wanted in order to get me into a car that was appropriate for me. The finance department was equally helpful in getting me a competitive interest rate, as well as adding an extended warranty/service plan to my car. More
I was about to purchase my fifth Subaru (first was a 1979 Wagon) and my second Forester...first was the 1998 L model assembled from Subaru's parts bin. In twelve years of ownership, the '98 had NO problems s Wagon) and my second Forester...first was the 1998 L model assembled from Subaru's parts bin. In twelve years of ownership, the '98 had NO problems so my obvious choice was to go with another Forester. As is my style, I had done extensive internet research regarding both price and dealer reputation and requested the "internet price quote" from five dealers. I asked each for their best price on the vehicle I wanted. (Note: one of the best sources of information is "owner forums.") Three dealerships chose to "play the game" which I refuse to play and were immediately eliminated. Michelle from Patrick's sent me back a price which was close to what I was willing to pay. For fun, one Saturday I took a ride out to Patrick's to check out the dealership and to see if $$$ could be lowered. From past car buying experiences, I expected the wolves to descend before I got in the front door. No so at Patrick's....Luke greeted me at the door, brought a car down so I could check the one thing I was not sure about in the 2010 Forester and introduced me to Jason. I found both to be very helpful especially when I indicated the price I wished to pay, the color I wanted and mileage under 10 miles at delivery. Luke told me they could swap one from another dealer in my color choice (the choice Henry Ford gave with the Model T) but a swap did not meet my final requirement. We agreed on a final OTD price which I considerd very reasonable and Jason ordered my 2010 directly from Japan. He kindly kept me informed regarding shipment, arrival in US port, etc. On December 17, I arrived at the dealership to find my new Forester ready to go with a bright red bow on the hood--an expectation I had conveyed to Luke on the phone! :) There is no question I will deal with Patrick Subaru again. My previous four Subi's were purchased at a dealer much closer to my home. Despite being well known at that dealership, the sales staff (who also know me) felt compeled to "play the game" even when I made it perfectly clear I wanted to "cut to the chase" and see agressive pricing on their part. Due to their sales methodology, the dealership lost a sale and will lose other future sales to friends. My only future recommendation will be to do business with Patrick Subaru! More
My husband and I went into the Patrick Subaru dealership on a busy Christmas Eve at a time when all of the sales advisors were otherwise occupied with customers. We were made to feel welcome by the sales ma on a busy Christmas Eve at a time when all of the sales advisors were otherwise occupied with customers. We were made to feel welcome by the sales manager and updated frequently as to the length of our wait. It was a short one and we were soon introduced to our sales advisor, Heather Cote, who was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. We bought our 2009 Subaru Outback late Thursday afternoon and picked it four days later with a Christmas holiday in between. We are extremely satisfied customers and we will be recommending Patrick's to all of our friends and colleagues. Keep up the good work, Heather. Clifford and Eleanor Hagwood More
I was very pleased with my sales experience at Patrick Subaru and would recommend the dealership highly to others. My sales consultant was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and NOT pushy. When I pi Subaru and would recommend the dealership highly to others. My sales consultant was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and NOT pushy. When I picked up my Subaru Legacy, he used a checklist to ensure that he went over all of the specifications and features of my new vehicle. He gave me ample time to test drive and ask questions. I was extremely impressed by the attentiveness of the staff at Patrick's Subaru. I can tell you from my experience of buying cars, this dealership gets an "A" from me, as other dealers don't even compare with their comprehensive customer service. More
My vehicle was stolen in November and not recovered in time. I was therefore in the sad position of needing to purchase a replacement. I considered many different crossover/SUV types, but was impressed time. I was therefore in the sad position of needing to purchase a replacement. I considered many different crossover/SUV types, but was impressed with the Subaru Forester for fitting my needs as a salesman that travels New England and New York State. I am from the western half of Massachusetts and looked here first, but considered looking further for the exact model/color that I wanted. I found Patrick Subaru on the internet and was very lucky to not only have an easy and pleasant experience, but found a price that couldn't be beat. Buying a new car should be fun and exciting, but considering why I needed to in the first place, I was reluctant to go through the process. Luke was professional and friendly and he made the experience a lot less painful than it could have been. I highly recommend leaving your backyard when it comes to shopping for a vehicle and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with or recommend Patrick Subaru in the future. More

I purchased a used 2006 Subaru Tribeca from Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury, MA on Sept. 8, 2009. Upon the test drive I noticed some things wrong with the car, and asked for them to be fixed prior to deli Subaru in Shrewsbury, MA on Sept. 8, 2009. Upon the test drive I noticed some things wrong with the car, and asked for them to be fixed prior to delivery. There was a shimmie in the front end along with some cosmetic issues. Upon delivery of the car I was assured that these items had been taken care of. Well they were not. We were told that they did resurfase the rotors however they did nothing about the scratch on the tailgait. Not to mention while driving there was still a shimmie in the front end. Then on day 4 of owning the car the car would not start and left my family and I stranded more than 20 miles from home. Fortunatly I have AAA and they were able to come and start the car for us however we were told that we needed to drive the car straight to the dealership, by AAA, without stopping otherwise the car would not start again. Upon bringing the car back they did fix the problem, the battery was shot and could not hold a charge. While they had the car it was also brought to their attention that the shimmie in the front end was still there. When I went to pick up the car they told me there was no shimmie. I brought it to my longtime family machanic and he noted that there was a problem with the tires and they needed to be replaced. We brought the car back to Patrick Subaru to make an appointment for them to fix this along with the rear brakes as they had never been resurfaced as we were told they were. After the appointmen they informed me that my machanic was wrong and there was nothing wrong with the car. The car still has the problem with the shimie and Patrick will not right the wrong. More
First visit ever to this dealership when my borrowed Subaru broke down close to this dealership, but 250 miles from home. Was greeted like an old, favorite customer. Moved to a priority repair status, Subaru broke down close to this dealership, but 250 miles from home. Was greeted like an old, favorite customer. Moved to a priority repair status, the car was fixed that afternoon and I was able to complete my mission of picking my daughter up from college and returning home to central New Jersey. I was anticipating difficulties, delays and frustration, instead they were sympathetic, attentive, pleasant and responsive. Excellent experience. Doug Cody More
