It was truly a pleasure to work with Tom Welch. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. He was patient and not at all pushy, and this made the car purchase a positive experience. He significa knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. He was patient and not at all pushy, and this made the car purchase a positive experience. He significantly influenced our decision to select Patrick Subaru for car purchase versus a competitor dealership. We will recommend Tom with no hesitancy to colleagues seeking to purchase a Subaru. Tom is indeed a very good salesman! More
We initially went to Patrick because they had the best price response, by approx. $300, to the Consumer Reports quote inquiry. The staff was very courteous, especially our salesman Joe Dineen. I appr price response, by approx. $300, to the Consumer Reports quote inquiry. The staff was very courteous, especially our salesman Joe Dineen. I appreciated that he did not take it as his job to sell us extras we did not want. He focused on finding for us the car we wanted to buy. I recommend this dealership to other Subaru buyers. More
When I originally contacted Patrick Subaru it was about a used 2006 WRX wagon they had on their lot. I had just found out I was deploying again and didn't want to keep paying for a truck I had no desire to d used 2006 WRX wagon they had on their lot. I had just found out I was deploying again and didn't want to keep paying for a truck I had no desire to drive or keep. I come from a car background, meaning I have owned a few cars that I enjoy driving. I figured if I was going away for a year I would rather pay for a car I like than a truck I didn't. I met with Joe on my lunch break and he quickly showed me the car, threw plates on it and came along for a test drive, not wasting time talking prices, what I can afford, etc etc like so many other dealerships when they see a younger guy walk in the door (another thing I greatly appreciated was not being treated the way I have been in the past with dealerships, because I am a younger guy, but rather I was treated like a long time trusted friend by Joe and everyone else). Anyway, because of certain financial circumstances the 2006 was not a good choice for me. I was upset about that when I left the dealer. Joe ended up giving me a call back later that night and told me that they had deals going on the 2011 WRX's they had on the lot. I honestly didn't think I could A: afford a new one (didn't know the base price of them at the time) and B: didn't think that I could get approved for the financing on a new car. Enter Mark, I don't know his official title but he worked with financing. Joe talked to Mark, whom he had high praises for and Mark, being the great guy he is, got me approved through Subaru for the new WRX at a GREAT interest rate (way better than what I had on my truck) and a very affordable monthly payment. I was shocked to say the least. I don't know what strings he pulled but I am so thankful for his hard work. Low and behold, Joe and Mark do all the hard work and get everything set up so that all I have to do it bring my truck to the dealer, sign my paper work and be handed the keys to my brand new BEAUTIFUL WRX and sent on my merry way. I LOVE my Subaru, it feels great to be back in a car that excites me to drive it, and to have a car that I look over my shoulder walking away from proud to call it mine. Patrick Subaru has earned a loyal customer, even if I'm not stationed up here, my family still is and even my mother is already considering trading in her Chevy for a Subaru with Patrick. Joe, Mark and everyone else I talked to, thank you for your hard work and dedication. You've earned a loyal customer. More
My wife and I were looking for a small SUV so we started out by researching the Toyota RAV 4, the Nissan Rogue, the Honda CRV, and the Subaru Forester. After driving all the cars, we eliminated the Rogue a out by researching the Toyota RAV 4, the Nissan Rogue, the Honda CRV, and the Subaru Forester. After driving all the cars, we eliminated the Rogue and the RAV 4. Then we started focusing on the features of each vehicle and the costs. Clearly, both SUVs are terrific cars and each one has its strong points. But the Forester clearly won the day by having a much better price. When we started our quest, we went to Patrick Subaru and met Tri Le. Tri was very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about Subarus. He patiently led us through a process that would show us the features of the Forester, and this helped a lot. We did not talk $$$ on the first visit, which was exploratory in nature. On our second visit (for another test drive), Tri gave us the MSRPs for both the Forester with the Automatic Transmission and the one with the 5 speed Manual. Again, no pressure, no hype. Tri did check in with us via the phone to see if we had any questions or concerns. His attention was not pushy at all. Finally we decided to go with the Forester. I visited some other dealerships to see the deals they were offering but I told each that I was going to give Patric Subaru a chance to match or beat...this process did not make me a fan favorite in the other dealerships but I was up front about it. When I finally got back to Tri this week, I had my research complete and I knew what I could purchase a Forester for from another dealer. Tri sharpened his pencil and came back with a number; it wasn't good enough for me to take. So we bargained back and forth for a while, and Tri had to get his management involved before he could give me a lower price. This haggling took a while but at no time was it uncomfortable for me. After a lot of give and take, we settled on a price and shook hands. I think it was a Win/Win for both parties. We now have a new Forester in our driveway and Patrick as another customer. I will absolutely recommend Tri and Patrick Subaru to anyone who's looking for a Sub. I have not typically enjoyed the car-buying experience but doing the homework, playing honestly, and having Tri to work with changed all that. Overall, an excellent experience! More
My experience at Patrick Subaru was the most positive used car purchasing experience I've ever had. My Sales Rep, Luke Latham, listened to us and at no time did we feel we were being "sold to." We were used car purchasing experience I've ever had. My Sales Rep, Luke Latham, listened to us and at no time did we feel we were being "sold to." We were not rushed, and once he knew the model and features we were looking for (Legacy 2.5i SE) he made sure we saw all the options available and wanted to make sure we were comfortable with our decision. Patrick had the best selection of used Legacys in the area. The car was in fantastic shape for $25K miles, but I was a bit bummed about all the scrapes and scratches on the wheels. With brand new tires on the car the scrathed wheels really stood out. Luke sensed my concern with this, and offered to have the wheels re-furbished by a local vendor. I never new this was an option so I agreed to compensate for that service, and am so glad I did! When I picked up that car it was pristine, and the wheels looked brand new! I've never been more pleased with a used car purchase, and my wife and I keep getting looks and inquiries about the car. People can't believe it's not brand new! Highest recommendations for this Dealership! Top notch Sales and Service...it's clear they are going for the long term relationship versus churn and burn sales!! More

I would recommened this dealership. I was in the market for a new vehicle and it came down to two dealerships. One was located 5 minutes from my place of work and the other one near my residence, but 25 for a new vehicle and it came down to two dealerships. One was located 5 minutes from my place of work and the other one near my residence, but 25 minutes away. The price on the Forester came down to a difference of $200.00 dollars. I decided to go with Patrick was because of the friendly service, especially Frank, who took the time to explain every aspect of the vehicle, he was not pushy, and treated us like family. The other dealership was somewhat friendly, but it was not the difference of the $200.00 dollars, it was the terrible attitude of the sales manager who made the final decision regarding price. He was rude and seemed like he just did not want to bother, so neither did we. Even though Patrick is out of the way, I am looking forward to bring my vehicle here for service. Donna Polseno More
After a few weeks of researching which new car would meet our family's needs it was decided that the Subaru Forrester was the automobile for us. We went on-line and visited the Patrick Subaru site. Patrick's our family's needs it was decided that the Subaru Forrester was the automobile for us. We went on-line and visited the Patrick Subaru site. Patrick's had so many good reviews we decided to fill out the finance application on-line to help the process. My husband had just had surgery and was on crutches and was unable to spend much time out looking at cars. I needed to find a new car as quickly as possible. I called the finance department and spoke with Mr. Bernier who was very helpful with the process and suggested I speak with Heather to set up an appointment to visit the showroom. I was transferred to Heather who answered promptly and an appointment was set. When my husband and I arrived at the showroom we were instantly greeted by Bob LaCrosse. Bob took us over to his desk right away so my husband and I could discuss what we were looking for while making my husband more comfortable. After discussing our needs and wants Bob said he had a car for me to test drive. (while waiting for the car to test drive Heather came out of her office and introduced herself to us. We were very pleased to meet her and put a face to the voice that had helped us on the phone)It was the perfect choice. Bob truly listened to what we needed!! The test drive was great and Bob explained a lot of the features. Afterwards Bob showed me all the options/features of the car and explained how things worked. Within an hour I had filled out all of the paerworked and been approved for a lease with the terms and price we were looking for. Mr. Bernier was also very helpful during this process explaining all of our options. We left the show room very happy!! We had traded in our old car and had leased a new car that would be ours in a matter of two days. The day I was to pick up my new car Bob had called and said he was unable to meet with us that evening and that Luke would be assisting us on our delivery. Again, as soon as we arrived at the showroom we were greeted instantly. Luke was very professional and went over all the delivery information as well as the features of the car again. We were given the keys and we were on our way. The team at Patrick Subaru were all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We feel that each of them helped to make our visit an excellant one!! I would like to thank them for their kindness and help in making the experience a more comfortable one for my husband. That gave me a chance to pick out just the right car for me!! Thank you again!! I have already told my family and friends what a wonderful experience it was working with Patrick Subaru. More
Nice dealer. Worked with great guys. Bob was nice and one other guy whose name escapes me. Test drove cars no problem. I needed an AWD commuter for my two years in Boston. Didn't really go anywhere else be other guy whose name escapes me. Test drove cars no problem. I needed an AWD commuter for my two years in Boston. Didn't really go anywhere else because of this dealer's reputation. Ended up getting a 2008 Subaru outback sport. Would go there again and recommend it to others. They even drove the car out to Newton for me after the sale. The only thing they could have done to top off this deal was deliver the car with a full tank of gas rather than the quarter tank given. I know they would if it was a new car, but used car sales still represent this dealer and they should do it for that too. Spent over 18K on the car. It wouldn't kill them to fill a 15 gallon tank. Maybe when you go and are looking at used, have them put that in contract. Apart from this minor pet peeve, I would send family members there to do business, and I would look there first in the purchase on my next car. More
