Let me start out by saying I typically trade my cars every 2 or 3 years and have often joked that I would rather have a tooth pulled than walk into a car dealership! For the first time ever I can say that I had a great experience buying my 2012 Legacy! I felt that I walked away with a great deal and a fair trade. I started out by using the only line trade in tool on the Patrick Subaru web site. The guaranteed trade in amount was actually over 2 thousand dollars higher than edmunds.com. Within minutes of completing it, a representative from Patrick called. No high-pressure sales, just an introduction. I decided to drive out there that day and was greeted by Nathan Goodro. Nathan took the time needed with me to decide between a Forrester and a Legacy, since I was really torn between the two. I have had four wheel drive for years and just couldn’t decide. After driving 2 cars, I finally decided on the Legacy. I brought the car home on Monday and wouldn’t you know we had snow on Wednesday! I live in Central MA, so the roads were a nightmare that day. I can honestly say that my Legacy performed just as well or better than my Ford Escape! I big thank you to Patrick Subaru! For the first time I bought a car and didn’t walk away thinking the dealer got the better deal. Plus I got a car that I absolutely love. More

I must say I was really impressed with how professional, fair and thorough Joe was throughout my experience of ordering a vehicle, trading a vehicle and finally purchasing it. I was undecided about what new car I would buy because I hadn't bought a new car in 10 years. He was helpful without pressuring me and I feel that he gave me a great deal for the money I paid for this new Impreza. There were a few small problems, not because of anything Patrick Subaru did, but because of a company they contracted with, and all I had to do was contact Jeff and he took care of everything. I recently had an issue with my 2010 Subaru Impreza and brought it into Patrick Motors after having a less than desirable experience with another dealership. My car had an issue with the engine and was tol brought it into Patrick Motors after having a less than desirable experience with another dealership. My car had an issue with the engine and was told by the other dealership that they would not approve fixing the car unless they needed some crazy information and then they tried to strong arm me into trading in my car at a considerable lower value. I called Luke Latham who had sold me the car as well as my wife's car and explained the possibility of a spun rod bearing. He told me not to panic and come down to the dealership and he would have Lou from the service department call me to get the info on my car. He said NOT to trade in the car and that my warranty might cover it. Lou called me and told me to bring in a few receipts of maintenance as proof that I was not negligent and they would get the car fixed. When I arrived Rich sat me down in his office and brought Lou and Luke in and all 3 of them got me processed and the even called Enterprise to come pick me up from the dealership so I was able to rent a car. I spoke with Lou and he gave me the diagnosis of needing a new short block and let me know I just needed to show up in a few days (obviously call before hand) and get my car. That Easy! I will continue to go to Patrick Motors and buy cars from Luke and I will have all my service done by Lou, Rich and the rest of the Service team. Thanks again! More

On Friday Nov 25, Thanksgiving Day+1, driving west on the Massachusetts Turnpike, the road slowly climbing up a long hilly stretch, I feel the car slowing down even though the engine goes strong. We're talking about my brand new, 8-weeks old, 2011 Subaru WRX sedan, MT5, only 2000 miles on the odometer! We were doing 65 mph on cruise control (driver's feet completely off all pedals). The engine hums along fine, but the car is slowing like as if it were in neutral, the engine disconnected from the wheels. I quickly pulled over to the breakdown lane and stopped. I then saw black smoke coming out of the engine compartment with a strong foul stench of something burning. I determined that the clutch was dead, and the car in perpetual "neutral". I called Subaru Roadside Assistance. The tow truck came quickly (within 45 mins) and towed us to the nearest Subaru dealership, which was Patrick's in Shrewsbury, MA. We were lucky to get there shortly before the service department closed, and doubly lucky to be helped by Brenda. Once the story was told, she quickly filled out the paperwork. She apologized that the service dept is already fully booked for the next day, Saturday, but promised that the car will be looked at first thing Monday morning. I requested a loaner car to get me back to my hoe in Cambridge, MA -- some 50 miles away. She again apologized that, so late in the day and on such short notice, there was none available. But, not to worry. Brenda worked the phone (and oh boy, is she good on the phone) and had soon arranged an Enterprise rental at the Subaru rate. About 40 minutes after having been towed to Patrick's Subaru, we were off again in that rental car. As promised, early Monday morning Brenda called me to say that the car is in the shop, and the clutch is indeed totaled, and that the repair will take about 6.5 hours and the car will be ready late that afternoon. That afternoon I drove the rental back to Patrick's Subaru. Brenda finalized the paperwork, and even managed all the details of the return of the rental. Shortly afterwards I was driving back home in my repaired WRX. I cannot over-emphasize the intelligence, friendliness and competence displayed by Brenda. She really cared, and that was plenty obvious. I got the impression that the entire dealership, and certainly the service dept. mechanics, are competent and friendly and helpful. I recommend them all! But the fact is that my dealings were with Brenda. I have dealt with automobile dealership service dept reps before. They are usually politely helpful. Brenda was all that, but much more: She grasped the situation, assumed control and made sure that everything gets done the way it should. I cannot praise her enough for caringly helping me during what was basically a shocking situation (weekend trip ruined by the catastrophic failure of the brand-new clutch of a brand-new automobile + finding myself stranded 50 miles from home on a Friday evening). More
The experience of buying a new car was becoming overwhelming. Joe was kind, patient with my questions and very knowledgeable about the Impreza and the Legacy. I test drove both of them and talked about my needs and expectations of the purchase I was about to make. Joe helped without pressuring, which was very important to me. I chose the Legacy, in White Platinum Pearl with a light interior. It is a beautiful car that I plan to enjoy for many years to come. Joe also showed me the service area and introduced me to a service agent through whom I can schedule maintenance for the car. All my questions were answered and I feel confident that if I have questions in the future they will be addressed quickly and courteously. Thank you More
I just ordered my second car from Patrick Subaru and this transaction was as easy as the first time. My first car from them was a Subaru Impreza and for the newer car I decided to upgrade to the WRX hatchb transaction was as easy as the first time. Inventory is tight on these cars and they happily ordered one from the factory for me. The pricing even with the limited availability of WRX's was great and they gave me an equally good price on accessories and even got me out of my lease early. Luke had an answer for every question I asked and was enthusiastic and outgoing. The owner Jason Patrick also came over and said hello as he helped me with my previous purchase.
