My wife like the style of the Legency. I went on line to check for prices on my trade and fair market value for the Legency. I used Edmunds and Kelley Blue book. Phil is young but very kind and not pushy at all. His passion for Subaru and knowledge is very enlightening. I was recently involved in a car accident in my 08 Subaru Outback Sport. I can definitely attribute my well being to the impeccable safety features that Subaru has engineered through out the car...All the airbags deployed correctly, the no crumple zone stayed true to its name, and me and my passenger walked away FINE. Once ready to purchase again, I knew I was sticking with Subaru. I bought my first car from Clay Subaru, Norwood, MA... Long story short, my experience there was not good in the least bit, so I searched for a dealer I could rely on to make my purchasing, and services experience better.... I decided on Patrick Subaru of Shrewsbury, MA. During the insurance claims/ payout process, I made a visit to Patrick Subaru to take a look at what was on the lot, Phil Sheridan was my sales rep. After viewing a few used cars, and test driving one, it was clear I was going to find a great car and great deal with the help of Phil. As I was ready to leave to think things over and get my money situation figured out, we passed by a brand new 2012 World Rally Blue WRX.... I knew I had to have it. Phil, an obvious fan of this car, was just as excited as I was to get me in this car...maybe even a little reluctant as if he wanted it himself! I told him what I thought I was going to be able to afford, and he got the deal right on the dot. I immediately put a deposit on the car, and couldn't wait to be in my new car.... A couple weeks had rolled by, and I was STILL awaiting my final reimbursement from Clay Subaru (pro-rated amount of extended service contract)...this took a seemingly endless amount of time, but Phil, and Patrick Subaru kept my car on hold, safe and sound. When everything was finally sorted out, I called Phil to let him know I was ready to finalize the deal. He told me to come in that day, and that I'd be in and out. So of course I got there as quick as possible, and the experience couldn't have been any easier/ efficient. We went over the specs of the car, maintenance schedule, service contracts, then signatures, and off I went in my new WRX. Couldn't be more pleased with the car and my experience at Patrick Subaru. I just moved to Massachusetts from Atlanta and needed an AWD car to replace my rear drive BMW. Subaru and Audi were the only choices I deemed worthy of my money. We initially built a deal around the trade in of my 530i for a new, yet to be delivered, 2012 WRX wagon. The pricing was right - yes, even with a trade in - and I gave a deposit. Phil kept me updated during the 3 week wait for delivery and always answered his phone. He was kind enough to provide me with his personal cell phone number. That is something that doesn't happen down south. While waiting for the new car I sold my BMW. I certainly did better than the trade in offer but that is the nature of the business. I immediately called Phil and over the phone we worked out a "cash" price out the door that worked for me. There was no haggling or gimmicks just a good value that was in line with all of my research. Phil and I agreed over the phone and when I arrived at the dealer the price was solid to the penny. Once I saw my great looking car I couldn't help but add in the short throw shifter and bushing for more precise manual performance. It made a big difference. The service department accommodated the installation within a day and that experience was equally great. I typically only buy new, having done so 20+ times, and I have owned most European and Japanese brands. I leased an Outback in 2009 that was due to be returned in March, I was almost 30k over in mileage and new I was facing some heavy fees. In 2 1/2 hours we had found me a new Outback that suited all of my needs, worked out a deal and completed the paperwork. As a women, the whole car buying process can sometimes be stressful but Patrick Subaru provided a stress free process and environment. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased or leased from Patrick and will most certainly be returning a third time when the time comes. More
