Purchase with cuation Found a certified preowned Mazda 5 listed on their website as having a Bose Stereo System included. I wasn't familiar with that option and asked the internet sales manager about it when we went for a test drive. He assured me it was correct. I asked a second time because I was quite sure I wasn't listening to a Bose stereo system during the test drive. He again assured me he was right. We liked enough things about the car we purchased it and on our first road trip were able to spend some time really getting to know the car, reading the manual and discovering that we were right, there was no Bose option even available on the car. To confirm it we contacted Mazda directly and they also agreed, no such option ever existed. I raised the issue with Drew, the internet sales manager, hoping we could come to some sort of closure on the issue. His response was simply...you signed the contract, whatever I told you doesn't matter anymore. Too bad, a simple conversation probably could have resolved this and not left such a bad taste in our mouths. While we are happy with the car, san s Bose, I would never do business with this dealership again, especially with Drew, because he lies. More

Gallo won't stand behind their used cars If there was a place for a half star I would have chosen it. I purchased a used car from them in the last 90 days . It had a 60 day 2500 mile Warrant If there was a place for a half star I would have chosen it. I purchased a used car from them in the last 90 days . It had a 60 day 2500 mile Warranty . When I bought it I was told it had remote start . The day after I bought it i tried the remote starter .... it didn't work . I brought it back in and was told they couldn't diagnose a gm. Then after 30 days it over heated . They claimed it was low on antifreeze . I asked why if they had justed serviced it and was told its common with cadillac. Not true! Took car to cadillac dealer for oil cange after 60 days and was told it had rotted brake lines and leaking water pump. Took it back a third time and was told my 60 days were over and sales would only cover the rotted brake lines not the water pump . Even though I was there for the same problem within the 60 days. They claim they do what's within the law and don't care that its a $880.00 job . In other words I got screwed by Chris the general manager . Who would rather argue with me then do the right thing . He basically went crazy when I told him I would let everyone I know including my 1500 union brothers and sisters know they don't back there junk used cars or there customers . More
Disappointing Experience I was in your dealership on Saturday (9/6) as I said I would be. After being at your dealership for an hour and half I was told by Fred (salesman) th I was in your dealership on Saturday (9/6) as I said I would be. After being at your dealership for an hour and half I was told by Fred (salesman) that there was no manager there that would be able to negotiate either on the price of the new Mazda or what you were going to give me for my trade. Fred told me that they would have to wait until Monday to do anything. I have to say I was extremely disappointed in this level of service. It is not Fred's fault, however saying to a customer who was in your dealership early on a Saturday morning to purchase a car that there was no one there to negotiate is bull. Saturdays has to be one of the busiest days to purchase a car as that is when most people have a day off to look and purchase. I would like to inform you that as soon as I left your dealership I went to another dealer and was able to purchase my brand new 2015 Mazda 6 I Grand Touring at an EXTREMELY better deal than what you were even willing to give me and $3,000 more for my trade in than you said it was worth. You even said the deal with Mazda that I was pre-approved for was in the double digits for APR. I got the car through Mazda at 0% as that is what I was approved for, not the double digits% like you told me it was. Did you really not want to sell me a car? Or were you trying to screw me? I hope this gets to your managers and the owner of the dealership and I will make sure I go out of my way to tell my family and friends to not go to your dealership. More
New Mazda 3 Grand Touring! Cheap and easy! I went into Gallo Mazda Volvo to get my oil changed. Upon striking up casual conversation with a sales person, (Lowell) I decided to check out a brand new 2014 Mazda 3 Grand Touring, as mine was a 2011. They gave me a great value for mine, well above Kelly Blue Book and a great deal on the vehicle as well! I went right across the street, got a check from my bank and paid for it that day! Really great experience, I would recommend everyone to this dealer! More

Roger Hanks changed my mind about dealership service for my car. Not only did I ever think a dealership would meet my needs... much less expect one could EVER exceed my hopes... and then add in my total am my car. Not only did I ever think a dealership would meet my needs... much less expect one could EVER exceed my hopes... and then add in my total amazement that I would pursue an internet website just to try to get the word out there that there is this EXCEPTIONAL service professional, working with WONDERFUL master mechanics at a car dealership with care and integrity (GALLO MAZDA in Worceser, MA)... but here I am. Because there he is / they are. I brought my 2003 Mazda Tribute in to see if I could wring out one more repair beyond what other mechanics had tried to do for me to keep this loved and attempted to be cared for car going. Not only did he find the primary issue but he step by step explained each and every area of review and the findings and supported me in weighing out the pros / cons of the investment. By the end of it, I asked myself the key question: knowing this car and what was done and now what could be done to repair (and fix erroneous repairs from others) would I be willing to *buy* this car for this quote? It was pointing toward the "probably" but the moment of certainty was the sense that I could actually believe this man - and so I did - and my hopes and dreams were, indeed, exceeded. I left with a car that was in better shape than when I bought it used elsewhere 5 years ago at 5 times the price! It hummed. I grinned. And I offer my PROFOUND gratitude (and commitment to ongoing trust and use of this dealership) going forward. Roger, you rock! More
I purchased a used 2004 Mazda6 at Gallo in April 2013. At first the sales person Kevin and general manager Chris seemed very nice. I brought a friend along with me who is a mechanic in order to make a smart first the sales person Kevin and general manager Chris seemed very nice. I brought a friend along with me who is a mechanic in order to make a smart and thoughtful decision. We test drove the car and my friend checked out the exterior and the engine. There was a part in the engine that needed replacing. It was a simple, cheap fix (just a small plastic part that had cracked due to the age of the car). The only other thing he noticed was the poor condition of the 2 front tires. Both Kevin and the GM assured me these problems would be fixed without Incident. It was my fault that I did not get it in writing and I will not make that mistake again, but a contract is a contract whether it be verbal or written. I got the car a few days later. The plastic engine part was fixed but only one tire was replaced which makes no sense. Also, the car failed MA inspection due to catalytic converter problems. They said they would fix it but had to order the part. A week or so goes by and I still did not receive a call that the part was in so I called to check. The part was never even ordered. I waited another week, they replaced the part and told me to put miles on the car so sensors could reset in order to pass inspection. Sure enough the check engine light came back on and I needed another catalytic converter. This time they sent the car out for work. I dropped it off on a Friday and they said it would be done that day. Sure enough, no call! And when I called to ask about the cars status at the other garage imagine how pleased I was to hear that the other garage was not open until Monday! Anyways... Picked the car up on Monday and brought up the fact that the tire was not replaced. The GM was totally condescending and rude to me. I am a 23 year old female college graduate and this was the first time I had bought a car. I believe they took advantage of me and were completely unprofessional. The salesman Kevin even admitted to me that he "did not know anything about cars." And the GM Chris called me kiddo and said that I only asked for one tire. This is not true and I was later told the tire would not be replaced due to the money put into the car in order to get my inspection sticker. Well it is not my fault they tried to sell me a car with illegal emissions. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Was in the market for a used, reliable vehicle and after searching found a 2000 Subaru Outback this dealership. Price was great so i called and setup a time to check it out. I was working with Scott who i searching found a 2000 Subaru Outback this dealership. Price was great so i called and setup a time to check it out. I was working with Scott who is primarily the internet sales rep and he was a friend of a friend. I took the car for a test drive things seemed like they were good and i was told someone was coming to purchase the vehicle that night, to me was a plow to get me to bite that minute in purchasing. I waited a day car didn't sell so i i requested to have the car brought to a local mechanic for a pre purchase once over. This apparently was out of the ordinary for the Head of Sales. Scott did his best and was able to get the car to my mechanic for a once over and there were some issues i had with the car, some of which are expected of a 13yr old car but the extent to the condition was a little alarming to me. I was instructed to call the head of sales, Chris Duggan. I spoke with Mr. Duggan the day i saw the car and we spoke briefly and I was on my way. My short dealings with Mr. Duggan were brief and to the point and this interaction lead me to instantly walk away from the car. I was spoken to in a condescending manner as if i had unrealistic expectations for what i was looking for. The issues t hat i presented were of a safety concern for the vehicle, sever rot of the front braking system and spindle. I made this one observation and was quickly interrupted and spoken down upon. Mr. Duggan was quick to fire back with his 35yrs of experience in the car business and he has seen more 13yr old cars than I have. At which point i quickly said i was no longer interested in the car due to the unprofessional manner of which i was dealt with. I have never experienced a dealer who denies a third party to review the car unless they have something to hide. Clearly Gallo was hiding and unwilling to discuss anything related to the car because it was a 13yr old car that was ON THE LOT! I would suggest dealing with another dealer. More
