I called Gus as soon as I received the recall notice on the Santa Fe knowing that he would schedule me A.S.A..P and would accommodate my schedule. I have bought four Hyundai's from Patrick. I now live out of state 700 miles away, and while visiting Schaumburg my car breaks down and luckily enough at Patrick Hyundai. From the mechanic to the multiple service advisors that helped, I can only say that they truly gave me EXCEPTIONAL service. It was late on Friday afternoon just before closing and the mechanic was able to diagnose the problem, make sure the part was in stock and then immediately work on my car. I wish I had the name of the mechanic as he went out of his way to fix my car so that I could make it back home over the weekend. If you could identify the mechanic from my Invoice, the Invoice Number is 120392 and the breakdown happened on Friday April 26, 2013, please send him my heartfelt thanks for taking care of my car. He is truly a great individual who went out of his way and he deserves special recognition. The service advisor's name on the invoice is Gus Rozos, but there were multiple advisors that were helping me and they all were very nice. I miss the service from Patrick Hyundai that I have received on my four Hyundai's in the past and if my car had a breakdown I'm glad it was at Patrick Hyundai. Thank You. Jim Roszyk. More

Matt at the service department and John the porter were very friendly. I would have like details as to what was accomplished (car was in for 7500 mile check up) and what the service charges covered. I was told my first oil change would be free, but it appears as though I was charged for it. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I was simply told to go to the cashier, a quick summary of services performed and associated costs would have been nice. Also, when I purchased my Tucson I was told that the car would be washed when it was in for service. I thought a wash would include a quick interior vacuum, but that is not the case and the exterior wash was extremely basic. More
This place is a joke. Everyone is rude as xxxx and they are always missing paperwork. I purchased an extended warranty. When something went wrong with my car low and behold they couldn't find a thing. Aft are always missing paperwork. I purchased an extended warranty. I took the car there because it does not have a deductible if I get the service completed at Patrick. Warranty Paperwork in hand they tried to have us first pay for the service. Then pay for a non existent deductible. Took my vehicle again today because I had no brake lights(not a bulb issue, or a fuse) . The guy who scheduled me, made it seem like he was doing me a huge favor by scheduling us in the middle of the day. For this EMERGENCY SERVICE, since it is a major safety issue.Then talked down to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. My husband brought in the car. Again tried to make him pay for a diagnostic fee. And continued to tell us that brake lights don't go out for no reason and we need to maintain the vehicle. ( I go every 3k to another dealership). And guess what .it was the switch that was faulty. Be aware when purchasing and servicing your vehicle. They try to pull it over on you again and again. And make sure you keep all of your documents. Also sales dept. Tried to sell me a undercarriage protection package. I declined, and took it to my father in Wisconsin to apply the coating, only to find out, it has a plastic covering. This dealership makes me sick. I can't wait until I don't have to deal with them any longer More

I was contacted by Steve K in customer service who was polite, apologetic and agreed to look into my previous complaint. While I have only had the car a few days now, it appears that all was done properly and my bill was adjusted. I can't say that it erases the nasty exchange that I had with Steve in Sales, I will say that I appreciate the dealership had the courtesy and common sense to understand why I was upset and how a negative interaction can really ruin a company's reputation. Made appointment to fix remote-start installed by dealer and oil change.Completed oil change.Told my car came without electric trunk release.I pointed out it worked fine with remote that came with car.Servi and oil change.Completed oil change.Told my car came without electric trunk release.I pointed out it worked fine with remote that came with car.Service manager then told me remote-start was installed by another outside source and I would have to schedule another appointment and leave car overnight.Salesman I bought car from told me dealer had to install remote or I would lose warranty. I have to say that the service I receive at the dealership is outstanding. Every time I need anything serviced, I just bring the car in, and it's not a problem, I get immediate curteous service wit dealership is outstanding. My Hyundai Elantra 2002 was towed into Patrick Hyundai from a service station near my home on Tuesday, Nov. 22nd right before Thanksgiving. I was turning at the corner where the service station is located just as the steering on the Elantra gave out. The service station recommended calling Hyundai since the faulty control arm that caused the steering problem had been recalled. I called Patrick Hyundai's service department and spoke to Dan, who offered to inspect my car. Not only did Dan call me when my car was towed in, but he also kept me informed as to repair progress and said they would try to fix the car before Thanksgiving! My car was ready on Wednesday, just as he promised! More
