BUYER BEWARE! ! I have purchased 2 new cars from Patrick within the past 3 years. Yesterday (7/11), I went in to trade my 2022 Sonata NLine and purchase a 2022 Sona ! I have purchased 2 new cars from Patrick within the past 3 years. Yesterday (7/11), I went in to trade my 2022 Sonata NLine and purchase a 2022 Sonata Limited. Unfortunately, their trade in offer was extremely low ($31,000) and they had mandatory add-ons listed in the price of the new car - I didnt think anything of it, seeing as these same mandatory add-ons were on my NLine I purchased two months prior. The numbers wouldn't work out, so I went to a number of other dealerships. In doing so, I realized the questionable practices and "mandatory" add-ons that Patrick makes customers pay for when purchasing a new car. First car from them in 2019, they forced us to purchase the tire and wheel package, trim, and window etching and said that was mandatory and part of the deal to get the pricing. This time they made us again purchase key replacement, trim protection, and window etching. These are just additional predatory tactics to increase their bottom line and essentially wipe out any dealer incentives (first responder and/or veteran discount). We mistakenly purchased 2 new cars from Patrick in the past 3 years and thankfully they helped make the decision for us on our 3rd. We won't be back to purchase any more cars from Patrick seeing how they treat Veterans and loyal customers. I highly recommend exploring other Hyundai dealerships before making your purchase. I was victim to not knowing there was something better out there because I appreciated the convinience of proximity. Let me tell you, it is worth exploring your options. The other dealership was absolutely fantastic! The other dealership gave me a reasonable amount on my trade ($34,000) and I managed to walk out of their finance department with a brand new Sonata Limited (see attached photos) with NO add-ons. The trip to the alternate Hyundai dealership saved me in excess of $6,000 compared to Patrick. That is how it is supposed to work!!! Seriously, don't buy your new car from Patrick. More
This place is why people don’t like car dealerships. High pressure to get an expensive service package when you go in for a routine oil change. They were either being vindictive for not performing the more expensive service or totally incompetent. Either way, I would recommend to avoid this place at all costs. More
They're helpful while the lease is being written. It's the second or third service visit when the problems start. I had my 2022 Tucson Hybrid serviced here at the end of March. I brought in my Tucson in for it's 1st "complimentary service" well I wish I would have taken elsewhere and if you came here to get you "compl March. After gutting my vehicle back, I was reading the service order and read that 5w30 oil was used instead of the required 0w20 that is stated on the oil cap and user manual. I told the service writer of the mistake and he brought out the service person in charge of the techs, and told me that "Hyundai does not pay us to put 0w20 oil in complimentary service, so we use 5w30". I was shocked at the admission, and told me that they would gladly drain the oil and have me pay for the correct 0w20 oil that is required otherwise they could not do anything about it. I informed of my displeasure and that I would take it up with Hyundai Customer Service, so that I did. On my drive home I contacted Hyundai about what happened and opened a complained case against the dealership for improper service done to my vehicle. After HCS contacting several dealerships regarding this issue with my concerns (including Patrick Hyundai), I was contacted by Patrick Hyundai's Service Manager, Jim Gruman regarding my concerns with the way my vehicle was serviced and what was apparently was done wrong, as he agreed that they messed up and to bring in my vehicle to put correct oil in it. Just last week 4/20/2022 took my vehicle back into Patrick Hyundai to re-do the oil change with correct oil 0w20. Be warned if you have gotten "complimentary service" done here please look at your work order it will state what weight oil was used, verify that the correct one was used if not please call Hyundai Customer Service (800-633-5151) and state your concerns. If nothing is said nothing will be done to correct the problem. More

Called and was told I have to make an appointment for a oil change. Ok 2 weeks in advance I make the appointment. I am the 1st customer in line. The 3rd customer pulls in and the service person asks if he oil change. Ok 2 weeks in advance I make the appointment. I am the 1st customer in line. The 3rd customer pulls in and the service person asks if he has a appointment. He says no. The service person says I will not be able to do it today as I have 70 oil changes to do. The customer says we will see about that. I went to the waiting room and that customer gets his paperwork 15 minutes ahead of me and leaves. So I inquire with the service manager. He told me the that was a friend of mine and they go first. I told him I had an appointment and he did not. He told me I run my service dept the way I want. Your car will be done shortly. More

Yes, thank you for giving me an alternate car with a FREE cigarette smoky smell(sometimes having headaches bcoz I m not a smoker, but that's fine; I don't have any choice). We agreed to the price of the car and the trade in, SIGNED A CONTRACT AND EVEN PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT. They had to have the car prepped and inspected, so a few days later I was on my way to trade the cars and finish the paperwork and THEY THEN CALL ME BACK AND CHANGE THE PRICE OF THE DEAL BY $6,000!!! The excuse was a BS, "we made a mistake and gave you too good of a price". What is the point of a negotiation if the price i literally signed an agreement on and put a deposit on is not worth anything. I have done hundreds of negotiations in my life, but I have never dealt with a more dishonest institution. I live in the area and in the past purchased 2 cars from Patrick and recommended many friends to do the same. I would now highly recommend against dealing with Patrick. More
