Upon arriving at Patrick Hyundai Schaumburg, I was told the that they would not honor the quote for the car provided online saying it wasn't correct because they didn't know my zip code or credit rati told the that they would not honor the quote for the car provided online saying it wasn't correct because they didn't know my zip code or credit rating - both untrue because you had to put it in the request. I was given a quote for the car and asked them to change it from a 5 yr loan to a 3 yr loan. I had specifically asked for a 3 yr loan. They argued with me saying I never said that. They changed the length of the loan and I decided to purchase the car. Financing was horrible with the upsells and sighs when I still said no. I found out later that even though I watched them tear up the 5 yr loan paperwork, that is exactly what I got - a 5 yr loan. Both Josh and Jose reached out to me to see if the car was meeting my expectations. I said there was at least one issue with the backseat heater and maybe another with wind sound coming through the window. I now know that I get ice inside my windows on cold days. I have tried reaching back out to both Josh and Jose on at least 3 occasions and have not heard back. I would be nice if they would respond to my request to schedule an appointment to have my car looked at and to meet with at least one of them and financing to see what the 3 yr loan would look like. I feel that this whole process was a scam from the beginning. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! More
First experience with Kyle and Patrick Hyundai was positive. Second experience was a double negative. My car was not drivable and had to be towed in. Left a message for another advisor. to please call me. This was 7:30 am. I told myself I would wait until 11:00 am for a call back. I was finally called back at 3:30. pm. I thanked the advisor for calling 8 hours later and that I didn't need their help anymore. I had a car that needed a tow! That was absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Crossing Patrick off my list for sales and service. The sale is second to good service and I certainly did not get any kind of help from Patrick service department. More
This dealership is the worst, we least a Hyundai from another dealership decided to purchase an extended warranty when we purchased the vehicle after the lease was over, they told us the warranty wasn't another dealership decided to purchase an extended warranty when we purchased the vehicle after the lease was over, they told us the warranty wasn't good it was only good for that dealership so we had to cancel it and buy a more expensive one. We found out later this was not true, then they gave us coupons for an oil change as part of convincing us to purchase the vehicle at their dealership then they say they're under new management and they no longer accept the coupons and we have to pay full price, I would never recommend nor go to this dealership ever again. Stay away they are con artist. Today I talked to the manager there and they said they had no clue what I was talking about with the warranty that the warranty should be good at any dealership so basically the manager of the dealership let us know how we got screwed. More

We went for a test drive , The car was exactly as described & just what I was looking for. Tom was great. We negotiated a great price along w/my trade in w/used car Sales mgr.Jose’ & completed everything promptly. I had done my homework on the vehicle in all competing dealerships in market place. There should be a zero start rating for the service I received.Service agent gave me his business card so I could contact him with any issues with the service I received. My numerous calls went unanswered and there was no voice mail set up to leave a message about how my problem was not fixed. Made numerous calls to the main # and was promised a call back that never came. It took me 4 days to get an appointment set up.My Tuscon has been consuming oil and I'm in the first stage of their prolonged oil consumption test. The oil issue has caused my catalytic to be clogged. Patrick wanted $4000 to replace the catalytic converter even though the problem was caused by the oil consumption issue. More
We have had our 2023 sante fe to the service department 5 times for same issue. Towed in today. Just called and was told it was fixed and reset… find that hard to believe again! Problem happened over 25 times for same issue. Towed in today. Just called and was told it was fixed and reset… find that hard to believe again! Problem happened over 25 times but eventually went into gear. Missed work, missed social gatherings. this is our only vehicle. Now we need to find a ride it Uber out to dealer to pick up car. So frustrating….can’t count on this car. More

Our salesman was pretty good but the place was under construction and mess. We even had to jump in a car and move it out of the way so we could get through the parking lot. The biggest issue was that the car we test drove wasn't prepped. We noticed a horrible moldy odor as soon as we got in the car and there were french fries on the floor. Instead of prepping the car someone put scent blocks under each of the front seats. The salesman committed to getting the vehicle prepped and call us back. Unfortunately, he won't even return our calls. I purchased a BMW from Patrick several years ago and everything was great. This was my first experience with Genesis and is was extremely disappointing.
