Service? What a joke! Pat Peck did a great job selling me a new car (a 2016 Accord V6). I have since determined they are not interested in keeping my business for service h Pat Peck did a great job selling me a new car (a 2016 Accord V6). I have since determined they are not interested in keeping my business for service here. First interaction: I scheduled service here for my first oil change, drove the car from Ocean Springs for the appointment, and was turned away (despite telling service manager I had a long trip coming up), because my oil life was at 20%. Second interaction: scheduled service on a weekday and had a quick and painless experience. Third interaction: At ~17K miles, my car wouldn't start and had to be towed to the dealer for warranty work. The alternator had gone out, and it was a Friday - meaning the car had to be kept over the weekend. No, Pat Peck does not offer a loaner car or cover a rental when they keep your still-warrantied car that you purchased from them over the weekend. Fourth interaction: Scheduled routine oil change and tire rotation online, arrived early for appointment, and stood around waiting while one woman seemed to be the only employee actually working, although I could hear a group of other employees behind a partition, laughing and cutting up. The one service employee who was working asked the others, "Is anyone available? We have a customer here." No response. A few minutes later, a man comes out, tells me how busy they are, and he will get me checked in. I tell him I have an appointment and ask how long it will be. He says, "You're looking at at least two hours." (Two hours for a 30 minute job?) I asked him if this was even with the appointment, and he responded, "That's just a check-in time. It's Saturday, and we're busy." I asked him about the complimentary shuttle service, and he said, "Not on Saturdays, we offer it Monday through Friday and have to give the guy a day off." I was still going to proceed with the service until he pulled up my account and asked, "So this is the first time the car has been here for service?" That was the last straw. I told him the car had been there before, but it would not be back. I don't need royal treatment. I only need people to do what they say they will. The website advertises appointments, not check-in times to begin a long waiting process. The website advertises Monday through Saturday complimentary shuttle service, not, "We have to give the guy a day off." One would think that Pat Peck would want car buyers to have a great experience with service, to ensure the next car purchase will be with them, and the one after that, etc. In my experience, this only happens when I take off work and bring the car in on a weekday when they're not "too busy" to deal with me. I will not waste another trip to this dealership for service, and someone else will get my business when I purchase my next vehicle. More
