We were so pleased to work with Holly Vonderohe at Pat McGrath Dodge Country. We got a great deal. Holly called back and wanted to know if we had any questions. The car was a gem with low mileage. The McGrath Dodge Country. We got a great deal. Holly called back and wanted to know if we had any questions. The car was a gem with low mileage. The car is comfortable and the back up camera is so clear. Love the heated steering wheel and seats too. More
I recently bought a Jeep Wagoneer from McGrath Auto in Cedar rapids. The service was great. I received a fair price. The whole buying process was seamless and the paperwork took less than an hour. I am absolutely thrilled to provide an update on my recent experiences with Pat McGrath car dealerships. Having been a loyal customer who has purchased not one, not two, but three cars from their deale recent experiences with Pat McGrath car dealerships. Having been a loyal customer who has purchased not one, not two, but three cars from their dealership, I felt compelled to share my recent journey, which, though initially challenging, turned into a truly exceptional experience. Once my concerns were brought to their attention, they went above and beyond to completely rectify the situation, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction. Pat McGrath's team acted swiftly and decisively to address my concerns. The dealership's management, including the general manager, Mark Updegraff, and the used vehicle sales director, Mason Schultz, were both amazing and took my feedback very seriously. They immediately offered to fix things. This gesture demonstrated their commitment to making things right and ensuring my satisfaction. They recognized the importance of providing me with a vehicle that suits my needs as a disabled Army veteran. They have not only addressed the issues I encountered, but have also taken steps to ensure that such situations are less likely to occur in the future. While my recent experience initially left me disappointed, it's their swift and effective response that has ultimately and completely restored my faith in their dealership. Thank you, Pat McGrath dealerships, for making things right! Your efforts have turned a challenging situation into a very positive experience. I look forward to continuing my relationship with your dealership in the future. More
I took my '94 Dodge Ram in because it would intermittently die, then start after sitting 10 minutes to cool off. They didn't have a computer system that would connect with my pre-OBD-II system intermittently die, then start after sitting 10 minutes to cool off. They didn't have a computer system that would connect with my pre-OBD-II system, so they tried a shotgun approach. They asked if I wanted to spend $800 to have the distributor cap, rotor, wires, coil, and plugs replaced. I said No, because those parts cost me $200 and I replaced them all within 2 hours myself afterwards. There were open recalls on my truck. One was for ignition wiring. Back in '97 or so, I installed a remote start on my truck, and I use it every winter with no trouble. When I got my truck back, the remote start was gone. I could clearly see the shiny, bare copper wires where someone had clipped the leads to remove it. I asked them about it, and they denied removing it, or even seeing it. I was using it 4 months ago, and I've never taken my truck anywhere else since I last used the remote start, and you have to remove part of the lower dash to access it. So I _KNOW_ they removed it and are lying about it. I figure the tech didn't want to try to figure out how to wire it back in, so he tossed it. Fortunately, I found the exact same (new in box) system on ebay for $20 + $10 shipping. I bought it. Dealer sent me a check for $30. They didn't offer to reinstall it for me, so I spent 4 hours of my Friday night re-installing it myself. Frankly, I don't think I would have trusted them to re-install it, even if they'd offered. I would be far less angry with them if they had just admitted what they did. I should have immediately gone through their dumpster to find my original one. More
