Andy Burns was a breath of fresh air to work with. We've bought a handful of cars from different dealerships and this transaction by far was the smoothest as well as least stressful. I would recommend Pat bought a handful of cars from different dealerships and this transaction by far was the smoothest as well as least stressful. I would recommend Pat McGrath Chevyland and Andy Burns to anyone looking a new or used vehicle. More
McGrath has a referral bonus program for recent buyers. I have fought with them on two referrals i had sent their way about getting the bonus money. It took them over a month to get the first check from them for the first referral. Now its going on a month for the second. When we bought our car our sales associate told us that if any work needs to be done to take it to the service department and they will be able to help us. We had some problems and they told us that they were not able to fix it because it was a Ford not a Chevy and they dont have the equipment to do the work. I found that hard to believe. I just think because our car is under a third party warranty they dont want to do the proper repairs. After the problems we have had, we were thinking about trading our car in for something better in January. Now i believe that our business will be taken elsewhere. More
Great place to buy a vehicle. I was actually told buy a friend that I should not contact them but I did not listend and actually just emailed them for a price. They got back within seconds and had the best friend that I should not contact them but I did not listend and actually just emailed them for a price. They got back within seconds and had the best price out of a few dealers. Recommended the same friend back to them and she bought a car from them. I was relaxed and very fun group of workers. More
My husband and I went to this dealer and we encountered poor customer service and questionable sales practices. First, we came for an appointment, waited for half an hour, and then finally left. I called poor customer service and questionable sales practices. First, we came for an appointment, waited for half an hour, and then finally left. I called and complained and was convinced to come back. When we came back, we spent all day there to look at three cars. No one could find any keys, and we waited for a really long time to actually test drive anything. When we finally did test drive the cars, we asked what price they were asking and the salesperson told me that she didn't know, because salespeople were not given this information. I asked if she could at least give me a general range for price or payments and she again said she had no idea. I wasn't even given a price on the car until we were ready to do financing. When we were given a price, it was overbooked, but I was told that the price was final. I talked to Lindsay McGrath, who I'm guessing is the owner's daughter because she is a young girl who knows nothing about financing, yet she appears to be managing the finance office. I asked her why we were not given a price until we started financing, and I asked her why anyone would agree to a price before they were given a price. She actually tried to tell me that the dealership doesn't set the price, and that the lender does. It was absolutely insulting that she thought I was stupid enough to believe that. She also claimed that there is no way for her to know the price because the dealership has over 800 cars in stock. I guess the dealership doesn't store this information anywhere, like on a computer or in a file, like most other dealers. I asked her how she can sell cars every day for a living and not at least know the general price range of a certain type of car, and she again fed me the line that the lender sets the price and not the dealership. She then had the audacity to tell me that the dealership believes in being very open about financing. Why don't they give their customers prices before the financing process, then? I've never heard of this being done at any dealership before, and I can't believe that they get away with this. We did not buy a car there and never will. Do NOT buy from this dealer. Their practices are questionable at best. More
The reason I am giving this rating is because my minivan has been in the shop three times in less then a month and a half. I have owned the van for 2.5 months. The problem is the windows quit rolling up, has been in the shop three times in less then a month and a half. I have owned the van for 2.5 months. The problem is the windows quit rolling up, supposedly they fixed the problem, the air conditioner comes on and off when it feels like it and they supposedly fixed the problem. But most of all, on three seperate occasions, all four of my kids were with each time, my van chose not to start. I spoke to Marcus in used cars and he "guarnteed" that the problem would be fixed. I had a loner van and was at home when I received his phone call stating that I had to come pick up my van because they could not duplicate the problem but, if it happened again then they would take care of it. I live 40 miles outside of town, was just settled in my home and my kids just laid down for a nap. I was coming to town early the next morning but, I had to make another trip back to town to return their vehicle. Anyways, when I dropped off the van, Lindsay McGrath state, "Don't worry, Kim, we will make it right, we will get it fixed." Well, I would hope so, seeing how this all started while it was still in the warranty period. Now, my van is back in the shop again, they have had for a week, supposedly fixed the problem, turns out it is the electronic ignition switch, which I stated several times that that was more then likely what the problem was, but I am just a woman and don't know anything about vehicles. So, today I called and left a message for Lindsay McGrath and spoke to both her and Marcus and now they want me to pay for the problem. Thinking not going to happen..I have had nothing but terrible service with this company and will continue to reccommend not to purchase a vehicle from Pat McGrath. They are completely horrible! More
Bought a used car from them and they automatically jacked up the price for an extended warranty without my knowledge and then wouldn't remove it until I refused to sign the purchase agreement. When I picked up the price for an extended warranty without my knowledge and then wouldn't remove it until I refused to sign the purchase agreement. When I picked up the car it had no brakes and the repaired it wich was great but then I looked under the hood and found numerous bolts that were either not tightened or not there. Was not very happy with the service either. More
