Andy Burns was a breath of fresh air to work with. We've bought a handful of cars from different dealerships and this transaction by far was the smoothest as well as least stressful. I would recommend Pat More

All of the sales staff at Pat McGrath Chevy do offer a referral plan set in place to thank anyone who sends us business. It is important for us to keep our customers happy and so that you all come back to see us in the future and send your friends and family to us as well. There is generally a few weeks that go by before those checks are issued though because in many circumstances we cannot issue a referral check until every aspect of the purchase is handled. That process can take anywhere from a couple of days to over 5-6 weeks if there are trade ins and financing involved. We do have full functioning Service Department that can work on all types of vehicles. In certain scenarios though there may be warranty work that we cannot do here since it is not a GM vehicle so we have to send it out to the correct service center. We will work with many types of warranty plans and in almost all circumstances would prefer to do service work that falls under a warranty plan. That way we are not asking a customer to pay for the bill when the warranty company will cover it. There are also certain electrical and technical aspects to vehicles that we need certain computer and diagnostic equipment for and if we do not have it we have to send it out. Other than that we like to keep all service work done in our facility so that we are responsible for it and also because we are a business and would not benefit from sending business to other service centers. These are unfortunate scenarios and if you would like to discuss them in further detail please let us know. As you can see we take customer concerns very serious and are here to help out.

As you can see...i dont recommend this dealer, it has taken them approximately 8 months to respond to my complaint.I find that this reflects their business practice. To discuss some key points, I have a family member who works for a Honda Dealer and he used his equipment to diagnose the problem so the excuse of not having the right equipment is a bunch of crap. This family member plugged his code reader into our car, then went online and looked up the codes that it produced. Not that difficult. Also the referral program, these 2 people that were referred, every aspect was taken care of, When I wrote the review, we had not received the second referral check. I called to speak with someone about it some time later and was told that it had been mailed out. I was lied to. It had not been mailed. Then I actually drove over 40 miles to the sales office, was just a bit upset to say the least, and was issued a check 30 minutes after arriving. Are these "unfortunate scenarios" so unfortunate? I dont think so. Both of the people i referred have had similar poor experiences with Pat McGrath Chevyland over the past year.

We strive to offer excellent customer service as well as quality pre owned vehicles that hopefully are worry free. Looking through the comments left by kfrimml it does sound like things did not go as well as they could have for her/him and that is never good to hear. I would like to point out though that we did make multiple attempts to solve the situation and communicated that with kfrimml. Anyone involved in the automotive service industry knows that pnpointing the exact casue of a problem can be a tedious and frustrating process. It sounds like there was an issue duplicating the problem with the van and that is unfortunate. The alternative of how we could have handled this problem could have been much differnet though. We could have ignored all requests, not returned phone calls, shut off communication, deny any service visits, etc. As stated by the customer though, we made repeated attempts to solve the problem and ultimately did that. I was not personally involved in this process but I am guessing that there are a few details that are not being stated here and I understand that kfrimml could have made these comments at the time she received the information on the vehicle. In the future we will more than likely have a vehicle that has a problem that is hard to pinpoint and we will do everything we can to address that problem and get it fixed for the customer. Our goal is to keep everyone as a satisfied customer so that you come back to see us for all of your automotive needs and we can build a long term friendly business realtionship.
