Hello AmberBurkhart92, we were hoping to reach you again in regards to your time spent at our dealerships. Our dealerships do take all comments and concerns seriously and our management staff would like to find out more in order to improve the car buying experience for all of our customers. The approval process can be a very stressful process for some buyers and for us as well. Since we are not the bank lending you the money, we are limited on what we can do to make everything work out. We were hoping to get a chance to speak with you in regards to your concern and have been unable to reach you through this system. If you have any free time feel free to email Cory Hosch at chosch@mcgrathauto.com and we can begin to investigate this for you. There seems to be a little confusion on this account and we would just like to confirm your information. No matter what we will certainly look into this in much greater detail for you if you choose to contact us. We want your experience to be as pleasant as possible and when dealing with used cars there is always a risk that it is not exactly what you expect it to be, but we are always willing to help out. All of our cars are fully inspected and we will work with any customer complaint within reason. From the sounds of it, we were willing to look at your car a few times even, unfortunately we were unable to solve the problem based on your comments. In regards to pricing, all of our vehicles are priced according to local market conditions, if they were not, then customers would not purchase them of course. Just like we would not expect you to buy a car if you felt you were paying too much. In regards to the interest rate, that is determined by the lending institution that we can use for you and the rate is based off of the buyers credit history. If for any reason you ever feel the rate is too high at a dealership, do not hesitate to compare the rate with what your own bank can offer. Buying a car itself can be a stressful process, and when things go wrong it can get even worse. It is terrible to hear about all of this and we wish we could have discussed it with you or had been notified. In any case we do take concerns like this serious and will discuss them with our staff in order to keep our customer service at the high levels that has helped to keep us in business for almost 60 years and one of the busiest dealer groups in the state of Iowa. In regards to the pricing it appears there is some confusion there. After entering the accurate details into kbb.com it appears that we are a little over kbb retail value, about $500 over. Keep in mind that not all guides match. For example if you look up the exact same info on a site like NADA we are priced under retail value. The books and guides will vary and we price our vehicles according to current market conditions which has allowed us to sell a lot of vehicles to thousands of happy customers. In regards to the financing, we do have banks that will offer credit to all buyers. In cases where there is poor credit history or an issue of the buyer paying off their debt, the banks do take a little longer in those cases. They are going to make sure that they know all of the details and they are doing everything possible to make sure that the loan works for the customer and that they are going to get their investment back. If this was not explained in enough detail that is unfortunate and we will discuss it with our staff as mentioned above.
