Our focus is to create an excellent customer experience for all service and sales customers so it is terrible to hear that you feel this way. We do want to thank you for your time to post this though and we will discuss it with members of our staff. Buying a used car comes with a risk of repair issues that do not come with buying a new vehicle or a vehicle with remaining factory warranty. All of our vehicles pass a detailed service inspection and most come with at least a 60 day/2000 mile limited powertrain warranty and/or the remaining factory warranty. On top of that you are able to purchase an extended warranty to cover future service repairs as you already mentioned. Repair items on used vehicles are going to happen and it is the risk that comes with buying a used vehicle compared to spending money on a new vehicle. Our Sales and service staff constantly works with customers in order to make sure that the customer experience is at a high level. Keeping happy customers coming back for sales and service to our dealerships has been the key to our 6 decades of business in the Cedar Rapids area. No matter what we would like to discuss this with you further and see if we can resolve some of your concern. If you have the desire to contact us, just send an email to sales@mcgrathauto.com and we can go from there. Thanks again for the feedback and we look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Charlie23, we recently noticed your comments and wanted to contact you as soon as possible. It is never good to hear that a customer is upset and we would like to discuss this with you in more detail if you have time. There seems to be a little confusion in your account and some of the notes in your message so we just want to verify the details. We want to see what could have been different and that will allow us to discuss this with our staff. If you are interested in discussing this you can email us at sales@mcgrathauto.com

Amy, I understand your concern and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We take these reviews seriously and I want to address your issue. Oftentimes on a co-signed transaction, the order of applicants on the paperwork has a significant bearing on the bank approval. It can affect the interest rate 5-10 points depending on the contracted lending institution. If you have the time, I would appreciate it if you could contact me directly to give me an opportunity to address your specific concern. Hi Amber, It is terrible to hear about your experience and I would like to speak with you personally and see what can be done to help you out. Since I was not involved with your first visit I do not know the details but I am willing to help out. My direct number is 319-393-6300 ext 285 and my name is Cory Hosch. Was this for the Westdale Used Car Superstore or Pat McGrath Chevyland, just want to make sure that I am aware of the dealership you spoke with exactly and to see if this review is on the correct page.

Hello AmberBurkhart92, we were hoping to reach you again in regards to your time spent at our dealerships. Our dealerships do take all comments and concerns seriously and our management staff would like to find out more in order to improve the car buying experience for all of our customers. It sounds like this may have something to do with an auto loan or approval process and if so we would certainly want to know. The approval process can be a very stressful process for some buyers and for us as well. Since we are not the bank lending you the money, we are limited on what we can do to make everything work out. If this has nothing to do with your experience here, then let us know that as well. To start with you can contact our Internet Sales Director, Cory Hosch at chosch@mcgrathauto.com and we can begin there.
