After a bad experience at another dealership, I was pleasantly surprised at how everything went at Pat McGrath. Everything started with research on the Pat McGrath website. Lindsey was very helpful and we communicated through email several times. She put me in contact with Dann when I decided to stop and take a look at the truck I was interested in. Dann was great to work with, very easy going and and I didn't feel pressured in any way. All of my questions were answered and I really felt that he was much more concerned with helping me than just making a sale. Once I decided the truck was for me he helped make sure I understood all of the numbers and what the rebates were that I would be getting. Everything went pretty smoothly and I know I got a great deal on my new Silverado. Dann also gave me a tour of the service department and I was very impressed with everything they will be able to do for me when the need arises. I had an appointment and needed to come back later in the afternoon to finish things up. Eddy filled in when Dann wasn't available and was also great to work with. He answered questions and went over things with me before I went home in my new truck. Matt helped with financing and made everything a piece of cake, all of my options were discussed and I understood everything I was signing. I worked with Joshua on some accessory purchases and that was a pleasant experience as well. he was able to explain all of the details about the different items offered and I know I can count on him to help me in the future with some other GM accessories I am interested in. Overall I can't think of anything that I wasn't happy with and I won't hesitate to return to Pat McGrath for service and when my wife is ready for her next vehicle. More
Bobby and Matt were great to deal with. That said, we did not appreciate being directed to the accessories dept. for the hard sell on undercoating, etc... without warning. Denny immediately greated us with a big smile, a firm handshake and a desire to find out what we NEEDED rather than just try to make the sale. Looking for new Volt or used GMC Terrain. PMC had both-- close call, but decided on the GMC. Jordan handled my needs in extra-ordinary fashion and should get a raise :). I decided it would be a Chevrolet after being impressed by the 2012 product line. Then I looked at two dealers in the process of choosing my new car. This dealer made it a difficult decision. Because I really liked the other dealer and the other salesman. To decide not to buy from the first guy was a reflection of this dealership's salesman's thoroughness and at the same time respect for my time. Then the inventory of available cars that this dealer had made it possible for me to take the exact car I wanted and drive it home. Last but not least, I told the salesman where I needed to be, and his manager offered me an even better deal. I have purchased a new car every 2 to 3 years for the last 30 years, and this will go down in the books as the easiest and most enjoyable experience ever. I am an outside sales engineer for industrial automation equipment. I love my new Malibu! The interior is sharp and the trunk is awesome with the fold down rear seats. More
I purchased a truck from McGrath in 1997 and was not pleased. I went elsewhere in 2003. A friend recomended McGrath because of his purchase of a new car. I thought I would give McGrath a try again. I found John Bakers sales methods were what I was looking for. No high pressure tactics. John gave me a tour of the dealership and service department. I think that service is improtant to have a company such as GM and a dealership as McGrath stand behind their product. I would recomend John to anyone looking to but a new or used car or truck. I have had my new Colorado for almost a week now and love it. More
We stopped into the dealership just as they were closing at 6 pm on a Saturday. I spotted a Traverse on the lot that had everything I wanted, color and all. I was in Cedar Rapids for a birthday party an at 6 pm on a Saturday. I spotted a Traverse on the lot that had everything I wanted, color and all. I was in Cedar Rapids for a birthday party and actually the dealership is about 80 miles from my home. Peeked in the door and found out they were closing, so I said that was okay and prepared to leave. They said they could help me. They fired up the car I wanted to look at and while we were gone the sales manager drove my car and worked up a quote for me. Long story short, we agreed on a price and in less than two hours I was on the way home with my new car. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant, and they were all staying after hours to help me. More
