I'm going to start this review by stating that the sales individual was somewhat helpful during the day. However, it took us exactly 6 hours from the time we arrived till the time we pulled away from the de individual was somewhat helpful during the day. However, it took us exactly 6 hours from the time we arrived till the time we pulled away from the dealership. I drove 1.5 hours away and knew exactly the car I wanted. Upon arrival, the individual who I talked on the phone with (who repeatedly told me to ask for him) was nowhere to be found and didn't even take the time of day to inform me that he was working with someone else and that the other salesman would be taking care of me. I wasn't able to get in the car because the key machine was broken. So, they started working up the paper work before I had said 30 words to the salesman and before I had even sat in the car. So the salesman gives me a list of all the "tax, tags, title, and other fees" and I almost went through the roof. There was a $995 dealership preparation fee and a $395 dealership processing fee. The salesman informed me that these fees are not built into the price of the car (as many other dealerships do) so that they can advertise the lowest price possible. What a joke. Please note that every car you buy from this dealership will have tax, tags, title and other fees of approximately $2,300. After we finally purchased the vehicle, signed all the paper work and cut the check, it took 45 minutes for them to attach the temp tags, wash the car, and fill up the gas. I'm not quite sure why some of this wasn't getting done while we were signing all of the paper work. Note that this was a Friday and we arrived at 11:45 AM. It wasn't a Saturday where there were ton's of people buying cars. Also, they informed us after we had said yes that this car only came with one key. And to purchase another "smart key" it would cost roughly $325. To top it all off, we were informed that since it was now past 5PM, they wouldn't be able to have the car MD inspected (we are from MD so we needed an MD inspection). They first said we could come back tomorrow and pick up the car. That wasn't going to work for us. So we had to take it to a local place near us to get it MD inspected. At first, the sales manager wanted us to pay for it b/c it was "only like $50." I informed him that I had already paid that amount in my fees and that I wanted to be reimbursed for the costs. Finally, he agreed to pay for the inspection fee after I sent him the receipt of what it cost. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! More

On April 22, 2010, my 2005 Nissan Altima was involved in an accident and determined a total loss. I needed to purchase another vehicle. I checked around with other dealerships, searched out internet prici an accident and determined a total loss. I needed to purchase another vehicle. I checked around with other dealerships, searched out internet pricing on different makes and models, even visited one dealer. But, things just didn't seem to feel right. I had received an earlier email advertisement from Nissan of Alexandria addressed from Ray Webb. I had occasion to meet Mr. Webb earlier last year, when my daughter was in the market for an automobile; however, at that timeI was not, so I had no client dealings with Mr. Webb. - I already had my Nissan, which by the way I had purchased from the Alexandria location through another consultant in 2005. To shorten this, my previous Nissan NEVER gave me a bit of trouble and there was NEVER an occasion for any major reconstructive work to be done to it - so I thought it made perfectly good sense to go back there and I'm so glad that I did. I was greeted by a couple of other sales consultants who offered me their services; when I told them that I had received an email from Mr. Webb and that I wanted to talk with him, both of them offered to contact Mr. Webb to let him know that I was waiting for him. When Mr. Webb returned, he not only remembered me, but he remembered my daughter too, and by name. I knew for sure I was in the right place - it had been several months earlier that we met. I explained to Mr. Webb my situation and told him about my less than perfect credit. He told me about another program that Nissan offered for people in my particuilar situation to get the car I wanted at a price I could afford with monthly payments that would not put me in a default situation with my other household bills. Mr. Webb's professionalism, expertise, complete knowledge of his industry and product and the care he took to support my need was exemplary. He stayed in constant contact with me (I had to leave for an appointment) over the next day, let me know exactly what was going on with my application and kept me apprised of the progress being made on meeting my requirements as well as satisfy the requirements of Nissan - he took an interest in me as a person, not just another prospective buyer. Ray and Vahid went beyond the call to secure the proper financing for me, for which I am very grateful. I am now enjoying and loving my new 2010 Nissan Altima, and I owe it all to the care, character and professionalism of both Ray Webb and Vahid Khodadoost. Now I'm positive that in the future when I am searching for a new automobile, I only have to make one stop - Passport Nissan of Alexandria. Thank you Ray and Vahid. Sandy Smith More
1. The 2002 Infiniti G-20 was advertised on multiple websites at the time - late January as $6995 or make an offer. After test driving the vehicle, the salesman Neal Connelly sepcifically told me that websites at the time - late January as $6995 or make an offer. After test driving the vehicle, the salesman Neal Connelly sepcifically told me that the $6995 was not negotiable. 2. The only fees referenced on the websites at the time as an additional cost were the dealer fees for tax, tags and processing the transaction - not fees to recondition the car which they have only since added to their advertisement. The salesman that I dealt with acknowedged that the fees for reconditioning that he was adding to the price of the car were not part of the advertised additional costs. While they have since changed their advertising methods they were highly deceptive at that time (and still are) and were in fact false because they would not negotiate on the advertised price and were adding what I considered bogus fees to the cost - fees that were not mentioned in the advertisemennt for the vehicle. They can try to justify their actions in any manner that they choose but obviously there must have been some truth to what I said since they are now indicating that the reconditioning fees are added to the cost of the vehicle. I have no problem with negotiating a price but the starting price to negotiatie from would have been their advertised price plus the costs for taxes, tags and processing. Not a fee for reconditioning that was not mentioned anywhere in their advertisements at the time. The advertised price was already higher than the condition of the car warranted and perhaps that is why 2 months later, despite lowering the advertised price the car is still on their lot. But then I suppose now they will add the additional reconditiioning costs as well as holding costs to the advertised price. If they were truly honest in their sales they would advertise the car at some price that would be acceptable to them and not mislead buyers into coming into the dealership with an expectation of one price and then have unkown fees exceptionally large fees added to the advertised selling price.
